Opening at 9 am on Saturday, this location of the famous Filipino chicken chain provides their complete menu even for breakfast. It has been open for less than a year at their only Oregon location here at Hillsboro. On our last day in Portland, my wife, her mom, and I stopped in for fried chicken on our way to the airport. We were all jolly when we left. I've really come to appreciate the consistency of Jollibee's chicken fried chicken. Unlike some of their competitor's, where the chicken breading might be coming off because it has been sitting under a heat lamp too long, their chickenjoy breading is crispy and their meat juicy. All of us had already eaten breakfast at the hotel we had been staying at, so weren't particularly hungry. Thus, just got a 3 pc Cjoy combo meal ($18.49, no tax) with 3 pieces of spicy, dark meat chicken (2 drums, one thigh), a biscuit (fluffy and tasty), two sides (mash potatoes and fries) and fountain drink. It also comes with a cup of brown gravy, meant to be used as dip for the fried chicken. Brown gravy with fried chicken has become something I seek out now. The fries are very similar to McDonald's and the mashed potatoes to KFC. In both cases, that is a good thing. I got a pager and it went off about 10 minutes afterwards, so got up to bring the chicken back. They have a self serve soda fountain. It is expensive though for a fast food chain, with no value-type menu available yet. Fil-Ams are loyal to this chain, and seem to be OK with the slightly higher price. It will be interesting if they ever choose to expand, what they would do to draw in non-Filipinos.

No line when we walked in, service was amazing, the woman taking my order was very sweet! It was incredibly warm inside and no seats so we had to sit outside. It wasn't raining so that was fine but the kind woman wiping the tables and chairs down was doing so with a napkin (which obviously did not dry things lol). Anyway, not her fault, we made do. I got the spicy 1 piece with the spaghetti and pineapple drink. Service was quick and the food was HOT. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be back. The gravy was phenomenal!

I was recommended by a friend from the Philippines, who said I absolutely HAD to try Jollibee. Definitely a fun experience. I honestly like their chicken more than KFC. I've been twice now, just so I could try a few different things. Here's what I decided: Fried chicken 4/5 Katseye chicken sandwich 5/5 Mashed potatoes 5/5 Fries 2/5 Spaghetti 2/5 Mango peach pie 10000/5 Pineapple drink 5/5 Overall, I definitely recommend it to someone who wants fried chicken with a twist.

I'd never really heard of Jollibee until a Filipino friend of mine mentioned it. They're apparently famous for their fried chicken and spaghetti -- definitely a unique combo! When I got there, I was surprised by how many options they had -- combos, buckets, sandwiches, sides -- honestly, a bit overwhelming at first. The cashier was waiting for me to decide, so I went with the 2-piece chicken and a side a la carte (which, I learned, doesn't include a drink). I asked for a cup for water and they were happy to give me one. You can choose between regular or spicy chicken -- I went spicy. They handed me a pager, but my food came out within just a few minutes, which was great. The dining area was clean, with several small tables plus a big communal seating area. I appreciated that their trash station separates landfill, recycling, and compost -- though a few pictures to show what goes where would help. Now, the chicken -- definitely crispy, not soggy or overly greasy, and the spicy flavor had a nice little kick without being overpowering. I chose coleslaw as my side; it was fine, though I wish the menu made it clearer which sides cost extra. There were some tempting options, but I played it safe this time. Overall, I'd say it's solid fast food fried chicken -- better than KFC in my opinion, though not quite on par with what you'd get at a Korean fried chicken spot or a sit-down restaurant. Still, for quick service, friendly staff, and a crispy, satisfying meal, Jollibee definitely earns its buzz. (And I'm still not sure about the fried chicken + spaghetti combo, but hey -- maybe I'll be brave enough to try it next time!)

Spicy chickenjoy (2 pieces) and jolly spaghetti. Also came with a side of gravy.

After years of needing to make trips across Washington and California to get our Chickenjoy fix, we were excited to try out Oregon's very own Jollibee. The new location is in a beautiful building, though it is a little small for the number of customers it serves. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and a staff person was ushering people away from the door and allowing them inside a few at a time. But after awhile that person stopped letting people in, and several people cut in line and went straight for the door. But that's just the way it is sometimes. I'll chalk it up to them not seeing the line on the side of the building. The food was great, but the menu was restricted to a few key items (mostly chicken and spaghetti) and didn't include other things like burgers that are found at other Jollibee locations. But that didn't bother me too much since the chicken, gravy, and spaghetti were my priorities. And they were very tasty! The service was good and there were lots of food prep staff working, so order prep operates like a well-oiled machine. I'd say this is a good place to eat if you have upwards of 45 minutes to spare. I hope in the future they'll increase their offerings and/or have more seating, but all things considered, I liked the food and the experience.

One of my favorite places to eat at and take home! Great tasting fried chicken and sides to go with. Love the spaghetti and gravy, good and fast service a great place to hangout and enjoy your meal with family and friends.

I would give it 3.5 Environment: lots of bright colors and the Jolibee character is at the entrance. Staff: friendly and kind Food: I got their 2-piece chicken non spicy and it came with gravy and biscuit with a side of adobo chicken for an additional $1.50. I thought the skin and the crispiness of the chicken was good and the meat was very juicy. However, for the price I pay, I didn't find it worth it. The biscuit was very salty but the gravy was good and dipping it in the chicken was nice. I also liked that it was actually not spicy at all, just the way I like it. We were fortunate that the line was not that long, a typical wait for about maybe 15min or less. I just thought it was pricy for what I ordered. Maybe I'll try their fried chicken burger next time but there are other fried chicken places I like that's a bit more affordable.

2 piece chicken joy, one side, and biscuit~Dark meat, Adobo Rice, and peach mango pie.

Food~the 2 piece mild chicken joy box come with dark meat, one side, biscuit (hard as a rock), side of gravy (which is smaller), and a drink (very tasty). The chicken was piping hot and fresh (I wish it was a little more crispy), I opted out of the French fries (got Adobo Rice with was really good but, better with the gravy). *Note* I wish they would expand their menu I had been anticipating trying (the Palabox, Burger Steak~single servings), and the different combinations you can order in one meal. Service~I went through the drive thru the service was very quick and exceptional and, even though it's one person taking your order it's a few people at the drive~thru. My meal was $14.00 but, it was additional $2.00 for Adobo Rice, peach pie, and $.10 for your bag. Ambiance~It's plenty of parking, and the atmosphere is very calm it's located in a plaza on the corner (it's very busy). I wish I would've went inside just to take a look but, I will next time. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try but, I am not in a rush to go back I would love the full experience I've seen on YouTube.

It just wasn't for us. We wanted to give it a try, waiting for the crowds to die down. Unfortunately neither of us was pleased enough to finish our food or return. We ordered chicken, fries, & Mac n cheese. While the chicken was cooked well and the breading nicely crunchy, nothing had much flavor...it was all bland with no real discernible taste difference between the chicken and sides. I don't eat gravy, so I cannot speak for that particular inclusion. I nibbled at all other items but it just wasn't appealing to me. Service was fast, and again, the food was cooked well. However neither of us enjoyed the taste of the food very much unfortunately.

Been to other locations. Hadn't come to this one because of the lines. Also heard mixed reviews on this location. Drive through was decent for speed. I think there was a large order in front of me. Then it moved fairly good I had a spicy chicken sandwich, with fries, and a pineapple quenched. The drink is fantastic. Reminds me of Hawaii. The sandwich was good- not amazing. No complaints, but it didn't blow me away. I got gravy to dip in, that upgraded it a bit. The fries are most similar to McDonald's. Good. My wife liked her chicken meal. No complaints. We also got a side order of mashed potatoes. Good for a fast food place. Overall pretty good first impression.

First time Jollibee-er. Here's the rundown: 2-piece chicken: Crispy, juicy, no notes. Bomb. Gravy: Good, but not even necessary. The chicken holds its own. Bomb. Mashed potatoes: Creamy and flavorful. Bomb. Biscuit: Buttery, soft, total sidekick goals. Bomb. Peach mango pie (not pictured): Took one for the road. Dangerously good. Bomb.

    No line! Woohoo!

Came here around 10:30am on a Tuesday and there was no line and open seating inside to enjoy our food. I definitely don't think the hype has died down yet since it got more crowded as it came closer to typical lunch time and the drive-through was already popping on our way out. The service is so nice from holding the door for us when walking in to the warm smiles and greetings from the staff. There were lots of people working there behind the register counter keeping up with everything. Inside is limited seating but they also have some outdoor tables as well. To the haters out there not getting the hype, that's too bad because IYKYK. I got the 2 piece chicken (although next time I will definitely get spicy as well) with spaghetti. I know exactly what to expect from Filipino spaghetti (it will be sweet) and it brought back nostalgic memories of eating at my Filipino best friend's house in high school. Chicken was crispy and the gravy was supreme. I was delightfully surprised by the Pineapple Quencher drink! It was not too sweet and very refreshing without the artificial taste. Of course you have to get a hot mango peach pie here. They do lot skimp on the filling and the deep fried pie is just the sweet thing I needed to round out this savory meal. I would suggest coming during off times during the week to avoid the lines and crowds but it looks like they have an efficient drive-through system. The only confusing thing was if you are eating out, where you need to park you have to walk through the drive-through lanes which didn't seem safe or maybe they need more signage to direct that flow. Overall I'm so happy that this Jollibee is so close to home! Welcome to the neighborhood!

I really don't understand why Jollibee is so popular! For a chicken meal? After seeing and reading and looking at photos of some of my Filipino FB friends, why not! Let's go, and find out why, what is all that all about. When I was a little girl growing up in the Philippines, we didn't have Jollibees, just like we didn't have KFC or McDonalds, but that was decades ago, and now Jollibee is HERE! We waited 45 minutes. I walked to Rite-Aid to shop, and came back, and hubby hasn't moved! It's 75 degrees, windy, and AC is on. Two rows of cars getting their orders, we were on lane #3, roped line. Once you get inside the rope, there's no exit Since, we couldn't eat it right away, we brought our cooler and put everything inside, so we could finish our errands, on the way home. When it was our turn, I asked for a menu. We have to study that, WHEN we could have been deciding while we're in line for 45 mins. So, we sat inside the car, with the hot sun facing us, (I have my own shade - always), and decide what to order. We ordered 6 pieces in a bucket. Hubby ordered spaghetti, too. And fries. There's gravy, too. We also got the peach mango pie, we still haven't gotten into it yet. Finally, we made it home. The chicken? Same consistency as Popeye's, without the spices. It's not greasy like KFC. We didn't get to the gravy. The fries were thin slices, (that I like) and can be re-heated so they're not soggy. I'm not sure, if it's their style, but there's feathers on one of the chicken's tail. The spaghetti have slices of hot dogs, and the sauce sweeter. Just as I thought! But, now that we know, it's not something we crave about, nor want to drive that far from home, and get in line for again.

Menu- Spoiler alert. There is NO Palabok!

I'm giving it five stars, because to me it was perfect. Let me describe. The Bun 9/10 soft and fluffy, great flavor. The fixings 9/10 Strike sauce, lettuce, pickle, and if you choose American cheese. You could have caramelized, onions or bacon, added to it as well. The strike sauce is ketchup, mayo, mustard. Mixed perfectly. They have so many drinks to choose from. I decided to get the Mountain Dew pineapple apple so good. The service was excellent, friendly smiles, answered any questions that I had. Food came out, had a very fast reasonable time for quality to be met. This place is meant to have orders to go. It did seat around eight inside and had some seating outside available if you wanted to eat there. My overall experience 10 out of 10. I'll definitely be coming back.
