Been to this location a couple of times, with mixed results. First time was great; easy ordering from the touchscreen menu, and the food came out hot and tasty. A+. This visit though, not so much. We got jammed up at the ordering screen trying to input the "special" for that day, and service was spotty --- ok they were pretty slammed. Long story short, somehow my Shack burger came out fine, with nice, warm, juicy meat, and a fluffy bun -- as you'd expect -- but my wife's flattop hotdogs came out cold, and as you know, cold franks are the worst. What's worse (wurst?!) is she saw them sitting up at the kitchen window getting cold and went up and grabbed them herself. I know, it's a minor beef (haha), but service is service, fast food or not. Otherwise a decent spot, kinda cramped seating inside, but pleasant enough ambiance with decent lighting and modern decor, but plenty of room on the outside wraparound concrete patio. Big parking lot. Hey, it's a mall.

I got an order to go with my boyfriend, we just got 2 burgers and 2 drinks. Service was actually pretty quick and it was easy to get your order out. The burgers were good they were just super greasy and reminded me of smash burgers, not a terrible thing but I'm pretty sure they gave us both stomachaches that night. It was probably due to all the grease, so if we came again maybe we'd try something else, because otherwise the taste was good.

    Welcome to the shack!

This location is amongst a bunch of other restaurants and it is a crowd busy parking lot. But it is the Shack so went anyway, yeah had to do it. Really nice layout for a Shake Shack, been to many and this was "high end".. Folks. I hate kiosk ordering, even with quasi fast food, it removes too much of the human element, which to me...still means something. Food...it's the shack, and this one was above average in my opinion. Burger, as expected +. Fries good too. Quick lunch, bad parking but no sweat.

Both of the burgers i ordered were way too undercooked. Definitely don't trust pink meat in my burger at a fast food restaurant. Ended up throwing them both away to not risk the food poisoning. Very disappointing

Your casual neighborhood burger spot! The quality here is pretty consistent with other Shake Shacks I've been too and service was really nice. The place was clean and condiments and napkins were kept up well.

I ended up getting a Carolina BBQ burger and a side of plain fries, no drink for $15 with a small tip. Considering that a combo meal at McD's is slightly less, but so is the quality, the price was reasonable and inline. The burger tasted great including perfectly crispy bacon and a smash burger with Carolina bbq sauce and fried pickle medallions. I thought the fries were excellent and not over salted nor overcooked. The inside was air conditioned considering it was a warm day and they offer free water in compostable cups which I appreciate. The order process is on a screen and you take a table number and sit down. They can text you when your food is ready and will bring it out to you. Our waitress was very nice and polite. They have outside seating too and some of it is heated for the cool days. I did not try a shake but they looked delicious from what I saw. My only complaint is that the tables were dirty. There were lots of employees behind the counter, so it would have been nice if one came and cleaned the tables occasionally. When I sat down, I lifted my arm and had a piece of burger meat stick to my arm from the table. I saw similar dirty tables around me. So -1 star for cleanliness. The store was not packed so I'm not a sure about their cleaning schedule. Parking was no problem as they are in a strip mall with plenty of parking spaces. Again, delicious food, slightly dirty tables, friendly staff, easy ordering process.

The wait wasn't too bad. Got our food pretty quick and almost gave it away for free. I told them I hadn't paid for it and so she charged me lol. Burgers and fries were very good! Bread was small and soft. I'd prefer my buns toasted but overall was great.

We came here today for lunch as I've been wanting to try it! Upon entering it was really clean and fairly busy for a Friday at 11:30 am. We ordered from the kiosks and it was pretty effortless! We found a nice clean booth to enjoy our meal at. They have a space where you can get ketchup & napkins so we helped ourselves while we waited. The food came out pretty quick and it was all super hot! The cheese fries were yummy, especially dipped in the ketchup. Both burgers were good, what I would expect from a fast food burg. Unfortunately, there was a small hair in my partner's burger patty. The portions were great for us & I thought adequate for the price. The kiwi apple limeade was delicious! For my personal preference, I added some sparkling water to dilute it a bit & it made it perfect! The shake was outstanding. It was thick with so many pieces of cookie in it!! All in all, since I work in the area I'd probably come back for the shakes & cheese fries!

This was my first visit to Shake Shack as I was at Xfinity next door, and I thought it was the perfect chance to try the restaurant. I am surprised that they only have 3 stars as the food and service was a perfect 5. I had the single classic and it was cooked to perfection. The accompanying 7-UP was also excellent. The winner of the experience was the crinkle cut fries. Wow...perfectly cooked, hot and crisp. The service was friendly and engaging. I did not want to wait for the kiosk but the person at the counter was extremely friendly and took my order. Here is why I gave it 4 stars, and not 5. I needed to use the restroom before running more errands. I noticed one gentleman waiting for at least 10 minutes for one rest room to be vacant. (there are 2 rooms). Out comes a Shake Shack cook. Then I waited another extended period of time and out of the second rest room comes another cook. And what was comical was that a 3rd cook was waiting behind me for a chance to go to the rest room. I guarantee that these cooks are using this time and room to play on their phone. Unacceptable.

I finally was able to make it over to Shake Shack. I'm a huge fan of Danny Meyer and his restaurant philosophy so checking out his fast casual restaurant in the Portland area for a place that originated in NYC was really a treat. The first thing I noticed when i walked in was the cleanliness of the location with roving employees who were picking up after guests. Second thing I noticed was the convenience of the ordering kiosks that made ordering and paying super simple. The wait wasn't bad and was able to find a small table after a large group left. I wanted to try a few different things because I think a fast casual that serves both chicken and burgers can be judged on one or the other so why not both. I dug Into their basic chicken sandwich and was instantly wowed by the flavor of the chicken, crunch of the pickles and the zing of their house made ranch sauce. One thing did not overpower the other leaving a well balanced sandwich. Thumbs up one first bite. The burger was a classic and simple tomato and lettuce cheeseburger that was seasoned well and the sauce complimented the experience. Both soft potato buns were really a good compliment to the respective sandwiches. If I had to pick my favorite, it would be the chicken. Love to see that this caliber of cast casual restaurant has made its way to our neck of the woods on the PNW. I'll be back.

The burger was horrible. A flimsy piece of lettuce, and tiny tomato. The fries were not crispy or hot. Do not eat here.

Ask the Community - Shake Shack Cedar Hills

Is there a shake shack website?

It is listed in the yelp info tab

Is there a drive through to order?

    Nope

Can the chicken sandwich be made without the breading over chicken to accommodate a gluten allergy?

I would call and ask them.

Is there any substitution for the potato bun for the burgers? I am just not a fan of potato buns. Is the hot dog also served on a potato bun? Not interested in a lettuce wrap, just a good old burger with a good old tried and true white bun.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you aren't a fan of our Martins Potato Roll! While we only serve potato roll buns for our burgers and hot dogs, we have a gluten free burger bun if you are interested.…

If you like exotic flavors with that Hispanic flare, then this is the place. I was very happy to find out that my all-time favorite flavor Nuez (pecan) was one of those flavors. Very nutty and buttery as how I always expected this to be. A delightful treat to enjoy during these last hot days of summer but can still be enjoyable throughout the year. Eloté or corn is my 2nd best favorite along with Pistachio and Mint chip not too far behind. There are multiple friendly ladies behind the counter ready to help you and they have tons of other flavors. Just hard to pry myself off my current favorites. They also have other frozen treats as well as churros near the checkout counter. Parking is ample and it's easy to get in and out of the lot. You can even sit outside and enjoy your treat with a friend or family member.
