If you wonder why this place doesn't do well is partly they don't have a manager that realizes they need to be staying open on days when it's 70° + here in Washington. Closing at 7:00? Came in about 8:00 to use the bathroom (noticed the lobby hours later) and after using the bathroom I was told that I couldn't even order anything by the gentleman in the grill area not even the front counter people approached me to tell me. All I wanted was a cone but okay-how was the guy able to come walk in and grab an order that was behind me when I was using the restroom? I drove to Bremerton to assist w/ a trade show & I decided to get something in the area for lunch. Needing something quick & not having a lot of options, I ended up choosing a nearby Dairy Queen. I went w/ their 4 piece chicken strip basket which came with a side of fries & toast, as well as a peanut butter shake on the side. With it being a hot day, I went for the peanut butter shake first, which tasted great and helped fight off the heat. I would say that it was the best part of this meal because the chicken strip basket tasted as if it was being stored in the freezer, taken out to be microwaved & served onto a basket. I never had an actual meal at a Dairy Queen until now, but I would suggest going here only for the desserts/blizzards. read more

Ordered the mushroom swiss burger and was highly disappointed. The mushrooms came in a lot of gravy, that was a first. They slathered on too much mayo especially with the gravy already there. Knowledgeable of the menu, I was welcomed with a greeting etc. however I was not pleased at all with the quality of the food. I literally paid ten dollars for a meal which included the smallest amount possible of the flamethrower sauce and a burnt slab of chicken incorrectly labeled as grilled. My past two experiences with DQ have been pretty bad. The one before this was at the silverdale location near Ridgetop. The drive thru cashiers were super stoned and were of hard hearing. They seemed confused at what I was saying. Today's experience seemed like they were all high inside the drive thru kitchen, he was confused and gave me a melted blizzard didn't do the flip test whatever you guys do. He knew if he flipped the blizzard all of it would come out. 2/6 times coming to Dairy Queen the service is pretty bad not sure if it's just Washington but it sucks. read more

The last time I went through the drive through, it took so long I turned off my car and waited forever. The guy in front of me pulled out of line and left. When I went back for the burger I ordered my wife a large blizzard (triple truffle )she ate half and only three truffles in it just ridicules. It's not cheap to treat yourself to going out. 3 stars for the best fast food French fries around and that they have a chicken basket with gravy and toast! And the blizzards! (especially the Oreo. It's consistently the best tasting). 1-2 stars for just about everything else. The food is pretty expensive, And burgers aren't very good. You expect at least good burgers! A definite benefit of this place is the easy access off the freeway. The menu is diverse and food is consistently ok. I'm not that familiar with their hot food since I mainly eat their ice cream cones. And, it's not that often due to their pricing. I'm not paying the prices they ask for anything else. Too high. Very lackluster, food ended up luke warm with old fries. Somehow they were completely out of cocktail sauce, how do you run completely, though the whole store, out of a condiment?
