Food was fresh and delicious, easy to fill up. Very clean and organized, ambiance was pleasant. Our waiter was quick, efficient and super nice. Shall return for more

I was expecting a little bit something better but because we were so hungry we stopped by this place. Hostess initially said it was going to be an hour wait but it actually was not even 15 minutes wondering why she said that anyways the food is just OK but the Service of the lady on the counter area was so sweet that made everything better and enjoyable. She has red hair and the prettiest eyes can't remember her name. I shout out to her.

There's always a long wait at this location no matter what time I try to come. Finally got to sit down and try this one out after waiting 40 minutes and it's not the usual flying biscuit experience I'm used to. The layout of this location makes everything seem so crowded and I hate that food that is ready to be served is put on a ledge where EVERYONE walks past it and it can sit there for a while getting cold. Service is still slow once you sit down but better than the wait to even sit down. Everyone seemed confused like it was their first day. My server tried to convince me that the chicken sausage patty should be pink on the inside because it comes pre-cooked...no. Food was good enough besides that but I'll stick to my location in Birmingham and other brunch spots in Columbus.

Great spot for breakfast! 1st time in Columbus, love this city, Love the food and the staff was pretty cool! No dress code for the workers which I thought was cool! Parking lot can get full but overall nice spot. The only thing that caught my attention that I wasnt a fan of is when they put the food thats ready for pickup for the servers to pick up on the ledge which is right where the walkway for people to be seated and when they are leaving. It just takes one person to cough or sneeze while walking pass your food and you hope the servers will catch it and make another plate for you. Its not a big resturant and I get it but thats the only thing I really caught that stuck out for me! Overall I would go back because the food is really good.

Visited on a Sunday around 3pm. There wasn't a ton of parking available which almost made us leave until we lucked up on a parking space. There also wasn't a wait to be seated. Each table is wrapped in some type of table cloth with various patterns. There was also some light music playing. We ordered our food at 3:03 pm and received it 20 minutes later. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Each bite of my omelette was filled with deliciousness. The grits had a watery consistency. Check it out for yourself. I'd love to read your thoughts.

My sister and I had a breakfast date on 8/21/24. After dropping her kids off to school. We headed to this restaurant that she selected to make me try for the first time. The interior is nice, clean and bright. We started off with Green Fried tomatoes appetizer $8.99. It was yummy and crispy. It was lightly battered and the season well. For our drinks, we got the cappuccino I ordered the mini shrimp and grits requested cajun spice $8.49. This was delicious and flavorful My sister ordered the smoked Salmon scramble $12.99. This was delicious and the salmon had pretty fishy taste We also ordered a side of Belgian waffle to share. It was light and airy (not dense). Our server was pretty prompt to take our orders and timely in serving us our food. She was a little but to eager to clear our plates when we weren't quite done. Seemed like she was in a hurry for some odd reason. She gave us our check in the middle of us eating and we almost felt a little rushed to eat and get out. This didn't deter us. We kept our pace as normal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. I would return to try other items on the menu.

*THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE MAC AND CHEESE ALONE* The Mac and Cheese was a heavy block. The first bite was pleasant then it went downhill. It was clearly frozen and reheated. 2 stars was generous. Overall do NOT order the Mac and Cheese.

The breakfast is so good here. Hot Chicken & Waffles sauce is amazing! I'm looking to buy some of the sauce. If you like grits - do it! If you have never tried Apple Butter - they are well known for theirs. The wait staff is attentive and pleasant. Made the visit worth it! The location is easy to get to with ample parking. There are collective shops in the same location to check out! Next door is Nonic which looks like a great place for lunch or dinner. I was denied going in the side door even though it says, Welcome. I'm not sure what that is about. Might be a "collective" thing they are apart of. The general manager gave me some of their hot sauce to go. Love this place!

Me and my husband come to the flying biscuit every year for our birthdays! It is the best breakfast in Columbus GA! Service is quick and a 10/10! We also love the style of the restaurant and all the funky decor and colors.

While traveling we do our best to understand and comply with various local ordinances and it was our understanding that if you visit "The Flying Biscuit Cafe" in Columbus, Georgia, and neglect to place an order that features their biscuits, it is considered not only poor form, but can also be prosecuted as a misdemeanor. ‍ Therefore, and because we strive to live the lives of law abiding citizens, we dutifully ordered both the "Flying Biscuit Breakfast" and the "Honey Butter Chicken Benedict." While the former dish featured a biscuit front and center, the latter slyly concealed it under generous layers of cheesy eggs and chicken. In both instances the quality of the biscuit greatly complimented each meal and affirmed the reason for its local legend status. Perhaps it was just me, but I also greatly appreciated what I considered to be veiled musical references on their menu including: "Drops of Jupiter" (), "Freebird" (), and "Best I Ever Had" (). As if enjoying a terrific breakfast wasn't already enough, we also greatly enjoyed meeting General Manager Justin Whittaker and listening to him explain his concept for this relatively new restaurant and his appreciation for the freehand artistry displayed by Atlanta craftsman @gordosartproject when adding the murals to this space. You may also be interested to know that the grits were cheesy, delicious, and sweet; the ingredients they use are from scratch and homemade; and they offer multiple Vegetarian and Vegan options. And that's...Henry's Take. #southernbiscuits #columbusbiscuits

We came here on a Saturday around 1pm, there was a waiting list of about 20 minutes, but we got called back in about 10. The server was very amazing and attentive. The food tasted great and the ambiance was perfect. We will definitely return.

I have been to this location several times and I have never been disappointed. They have ample seating and they are family friendly. Their food is amazing and it is perfect after a hard workout if you need some extra calories, or if you just want to have an amazing breakfast. They also have a few health conscious options such as avocado toast and yogurt. What makes it better is the service. Everyone is very friendly.

Was told by my colleagues that the Parker house rolls and cinnamon butter was great. I had the summer salad (spring greens, cherries, strawberries, and a HUGE knot of burrata cheese, with an additional grilled salmon). This salad was incredible. Highly recommend! The table shared some deviled eggs. The pickled onions on the deviled eggs was so good. Everyone dipped their fries in the chili crisp oil and agreed it was one of the best flavor combos of the trip. Our server gave us an extra side of it and gave my friend a side of kimchi to add to his burger. Just great all around service and vibe. While the restaurant feels like the height of 2015-2020 design (let's road trip in our sprinter van to a shipping container cottage!), everything feels airy and good to be there

Later that Wednesday evening, as the restaurant settled into a softer, more intimate glow, we opted…read morefor the main dining room rather than the rooftop. The hostess was warm and efficient, seating us immediately. Our server approached with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her craft--she was direct, professional, and all business in the best possible way. Even as closing time drew near, she kept my glass refreshed without needing to be asked, a small but telling detail that spoke volumes about her attentiveness. The space itself strikes a pleasant semi-formal note--clean, polished, and respectful without veering into stuffy territory. Behind the bar, the bartender was meticulously wiping down every bottle, a quiet display of care that set a tone of genuine pride in the operation. We began with a dozen oysters: six raw and six char-grilled. The raw specimens were on the petite side for the price, yet delivered a clean, bright, and pleasantly saline flavor that let the oyster speak for itself. The char-grilled version arrived with a savory Parmesan crust that brought its own appealing character--rich, cheesy, and nicely caramelized in a way that felt unique rather than derivative. The crab dip, however, was a standout. Far superior to the often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, this one tasted of genuine lump crab meat, folded into a properly cheesy, indulgent dip that avoided any unfortunate "buffalo" detours. Served with crisp crostini, each bite was balanced and deeply satisfying--an authentic crab dip done right. The Korean cheesesteak offered an excellent harmony of flavors: tender, well-seasoned meat beneath a luxurious blanket of melted cheese, punctuated by the bright, spicy kick of kimchi and the refreshing snap of pickles. It was delicious, though for the price, I wished for a more generous filling and a bit more heft to the sandwich overall. The mac & cheese arrived in a commendably generous portion, with a beautiful Parmesan crust on top. Visually appealing, the dish unfortunately fell a touch flat on the palate. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.
