We stop in for occasional meals at this location and it gets more disappointing each visit. Our last 2 visits there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant, and very few cars that came through the drive thru, during our visit. However we've waited 20-30 minutes for our orders each time. Thats a considerably long wait for fast food. The staff is always friendly, and have always gotten our orders correct, but they seem to disappear after our order is taken. This last visit we waited approx. 30 minutes for our food. We asked after 20 min. if there was an issue with our order. We were told it would be next. At this point we were the only people in the dining area. No one else had come inside in more than 15 minutes. When we received our food it was terrible. Everything was room temp or cold. Room temp chicken, cold toast, lukewarm gravy, cold fries, & undercooked and cold onion rings. Since there wasn't anyone at the counter to talk to we put most of our food in the trash and left. Super disappointing for a place we would actually like to come to regularly but it's a waste to spend money on food to get it cold after a ridiculously long wait. read more

As a customer, I became a problem because my chocolate/vanilla ice cream on the cone was leaning and wonky, I would have ice cream everywhere if I tried to eat it. I told the employee at the drive thru this and she offered me napkins. I asked her to remake it. Then she comes back to the window and hands me the cone with half the amount of ice cream that was on the last one. When I told her this, she replied, "that's just how the machines are." She just didn't want to deal with me. I don't blame her. Also, what's up with the ice cream machines? There use to be twisty/swirl cone option. Last evening my wife and I stopped by and ordered two medium size Mocha and Vanilla Moolatte. We have had them in the past at this location and have enjoyed them. However last night.....It was different. When I was taking the order thru the drive through window I noticed no whip cream no chocolate or vanilla drizzle and the price,,,ouch!!! at the time I returned and requested whip cream. What I saw was a tablespoon of whip... My experience made me wonder..new owner? The building exterior has been repainted, the outside menu board looks newer and with the significant price increases I noted with all menu items it made sense to replace. The kids and I went through drive through yesterday after 1 pm. I bought two meals, two blizzards and a small onion ring. The service was horrible! I asked for covers for the two blizzards the girl at the window told me here so no kids and my onion rings were old not warm and it seemed like they'd probably been sitting for along time. All the crew did was side-eye and otherwise ignore my husband as he waited to order for our grandchildren and us. No one greeted him. No one said, "We will be with you in a minute." Yes, they were fairly busy. That doesn't excuse 3 people walking past, giving side-eye, and ignoring him. If it hadn't been for our grandchildren, we would have walked out. I've visited a number of Dairy Queen's and didn't expect much, I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the lunch deals. I picked the cheese burger. While grabbing my drink and some ketchup they slammed out my meal and delivered it to our table. I was staring at it asking "they driver our food already "? The last DQ I was at in another location took 45 minutes. These guys were on FIRE! The food was good, burger cooked right and juicy. Fries were fries but cooked right too. The food is the same at all the restaurants. The time it takes to get it and how well it's cooked is what sets these guys on top of all other DQ's. The service here was also worth mentioning. I've been a regular customer of this location for almost 20 years. In all that time I can only remember one instance where my order wasn't perfectly prepared and that was just a missing dipping sauce. They employ local teens and I've found them to be energetic and caring almost without exception. These teens are often learning on their first job and I think that's pretty awesome. If in the future I get an order that isn't perfect I'll take the time to call and let the manager know so they can use that as a teaching moment. I won't get on this app and berate them for learning. I've been to several Dairy Queen locations in my life, and each is about what you'd expect for a national chain. This location, however, is a step above the rest! It is nice and clean on the inside, and looks modern. It is also very roomy, and somehow, the quality of the goods served seems better than other locations. The clerk working the counter was unexpectedly professional and friendly (she was the consummate professional), and honestly seemed to the the only one doing any actual work. She took our order, and prepared our items for us. All the while, another couple was in line behind us, and the five other employees all appeared to be standing around talking with each other or milling about doing nothing. None of them came to help the next customers; the clerk who helped us took care of them next. Had I been the couple in line behind me, I'd probably have a much lower opinion of this location, but my timing was lucky. I'll definitely be back, and hope that we'll get the same awesome clerk that we had tonight! read more

What I expected from a Dairy Queen, I found here. Although the location is outdated, it is very clean and looks they try to keep it a pleasant facility. The workers all seemed young, again as expected, but all very courteous especially Carson. I think during my visit, I saw him do everything- take orders, help coworkers, make orders, clean, even clean the floors. Carson looks like he actually cares about his job, putting in effort in the details such as the swirl on the cones. A very pleasant young individual. I spent over half an hour in the drive-thru last night. In. The. Drive. Thru. That is just beyond unacceptable. When I finally got up to the window to pay and receive my order, the woman didn't even bother to greet me much less apologize for the wait. She just held out her hand for payment and close the window after receiving my card. She open the window handed me my card and receipt and shoved back towards me. Had I known that, in the bag, nearly half of my order of cheese curds was actually burnt french fries, I would've shoved the bag right back. There was not that many fries, the bread had nothing on it; it was just plain toasted bread and the chicken strips were small. Was excited to have a hot fudge Sunday for the first time in a few years at DQ. By the time they handed it to me the hot fudge was cold as there was the smallest amount of it. Barely was able to get a tiny bit of cold fudge in each bite. When I was a kid there was an excessive amount of hot fudge and each bite was brimming with hot fudgy deliciousness. Maybe its time of day you visit, but every single time we attend the drive-thru after dinner and order 2 or more dilly bars, they never give them to us in a sack nor even ask if we want a sack. Seems they would rather do a juggling act and risk dropping them while handing them to us and we then have to continue the juggling while getting them safely into the car. We prefer to take them home to eat so not being in a sack makes it extra precarious to have to hold them or place them on the seat to slide around and possible end up on the floor. Is it really that big an effort to offer to put them in a sack? Other DQs we have been to at least ASK if we want them in a sack. We love DQ but we have found that this location is just a hit and miss. We went in tonight and ordered 3 of the Reese's extreme blizzards and one royal Oreo blizzard. Every blizzard was messed up. We got 3 brownie blizzards and one Oreo blizzard. It was quite the disappointment to have every item we ordered incorrectly made. This isn't the first time they've messed up. Our younger child only likes the royal Oreo blizzard. I would say they have only made it right about two-thirds of the time. We are done utilizing this location. read more

I like the staff here. They are ALWAYS curteous. And they have orange julius, which they do a good job replicating.

There should be a negative stars option, I got 4 items, and I got 2 blizzards not mixed, 1 blizzard melted, the last item they forgot and made me come in to order it even though they repated my order to me in the drive thru and it was a easy item to make a sundae with strawberries, also the royal blizzard didn't even have the gooey center. Every time I go to this location, they screw up my order every time, sometimes I think even on purpose. Today I went to buy a 5 buck lunch with an extra fry and they shorted me on the extra fry and a receipt. So now I'm a fry short for my brother, and we are both pissed. This is the small town DQ with smiling young faces, reasonably priced food and 10% discount for Seniors. It is the kind of place that occasionally makes a mistake and will take your word for it just before they make it right. The burgers are good and the chicken fingers are real pieces of chicken, not pressed chicken bits. I go here a couple times a month. read more
