I notice Red/pink hair was caught in the lid of my cup. So I walk inside DQ. I see the only lady with pink hair. I talk to another employee they go get the manager. The manager comes and ask me, "Are you the one here for a refund?" I say yes. I'm given a refund but I notice I wasn't given the correct amount. The manager gave me the correct amount and went back to work. A simple apology would have been nice. This was poor goods and poor customer service rendered. I'm incredibly disappointed. read more

*MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION* Went on May 2nd, around 11:40 and stayed in line for about 5-10 ish minutes and saw the worker cross contaminate multiple things in a very short amount of time commiting MAJOR health violations. She touched 2 different raw meats, fryer handles, different doors, cheese, buns, cooked meat, served food and the register without changing gloves. When working in a resteraunt industry you MUST replace gloves after touching even ONE thing. Knowing kids and families dine there it is not safe for people to consume food that's not only been touched by dirty gloves but those same gloves also touching RAW food. This needs to be addressed ASAP as the longer this issue waits the more likely someone will get seriously sick. Being in the resteraunt industry for 7 years and having a food handlers certificate I cannot let this go unoticed as this can lead to serious issues in the future. read more

My favorite this to come for is the Oreo blizzard nice amount of Oreos love it. The drive thru people are always so happy when you pull up. Floors are always clean and it just smells like ice cream when you walk in lol. read more

Literally just left DQ, ordered a chili dog, milk shake and pup cup... pretty simple right? My chili dog looked and smelled terrible. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. This is THE WORST managed DQ I've ever been to. And I'm not just going by one or two experiences. EVERY Time I come here it's a shit-show. What a cluster. If you add up the individual IQ's of all the working employees at any given time you might hit 65. They NEVER know how to make anything within the same business day or by the normal recipe. They don't manage the drive through so that the guy at the front who's order takes 20 minutes is not asked to pull into a parking space so that they can serve the people with an ice cream cone order. No wonder this place already has bad reviews. The dip machine doesn't work. These cheap franchise owners won't replace it or get it fixed so if you order any dip come it'll come out undipped. You'll be given a few broken pieces of dip without any flavor. You may as well just order a plain cone. read more

This location is not following COVID protocols to keep customers and each other safe. We went in to order take out with our masks on, inside they had 5 employees working that we saw. Two had no mask present at all and were the two handling the food. The cashier and another employee in the front did have a mask however they were below the chin. There was only one employee actually wearing a mask and it fit well so I appreciated her concern. They also let customers in while I was waiting who did not have masks to order and did not request them to wear one. Lastly, they had their trash out of the cans and sitting in front of the door. I wish I had a good experience but the lack of consideration for customers by not having any masks or gloves for the people making and touching food seemed unsafe. read more

It's 'ok' I guess, but the problem with this location is that they have a history of messing orders up (like just 2 Blizzards). It hasn't been "super" bad lately...however, I order the same Blizzard (small cookie dough) every time I go. You can easily tell it's made differently depending on who makes it. Sometimes it's very chocolatey. Sometimes it's got hardly any chocolate in it. Sometimes it's got very little cookie dough in it. It's so random. Because of this, we drive further to go to the Vandalia location or the Dixie Drive location as they are consistent and the Blizzards are so much better there. read more

Went inside for this visit to the Englewood Dq. The staff was in an argument about how wrong and stupid someone in the drive-thru was acting about something. Stating things like, "I don't care , let the manager pull the camera. I was right. " They were having this conversation while we were trying to order and cash out. The staff also seemed very irritated about serving us. The worst part was while we were waiting for our ice cream a cockroach can out across the floor. I made a comment and freaked out and one of the workers came and picked it up but didn't say anything about it. Not a sorry, nothing. This place is horrible and I won't be back. I pulled up tonight at around 8:10, I was the third car in line. I ordered my food, then sat in line between the same two cars that were there when I ordered my food for 15-20 minutes. By this time, three other cars pulled up behind. One had ordered and two more were waiting. After about 20 minutes, the cars behind me got annoyed and drove away. I went to DQ in Englewood this evening to pick up dinner and ice cream for my family on Father's day. After waiting in a long line (which naturally happens on a nice evening) I ordered a cheeseburger for my husband and was told the grill is down. I got out of line to call my husband and ask for an alternative selection, and he decided to get a chicken strip basket like the rest of us were getting. I got back in line and a few minutes later an employee came up to the car to ask if I was ordering food. When I answered to the affirmative he said the grill was down. I said yes, I had heard about that, but surely their fryers were operational. He said they got slammed and ran out of food!! WHAT?!? I called my husband to ask for now an alternative place for dinner, but opted to stay and order the ice cream as originally planned. I placed my order, pulled up to the window and asked how a restaurant could possibly run out of food. The girl at the window said they didn't run out, they were "set up by their manager" (whatever that means), they got overwhelmed, were understaffed, didn't get Holiday Pay (never heard of anyone demanding Holiday pay for Father's day) SO THEY DECIDED TO SHUT DOWN THE KITCHEN AND ONLY SERVE ICE CREAM!!! Are you kidding me with this??? If I hadn't already paid I would have left, but since I did pay I opted to wait for my order. A few minutes later a different girl starts to hand me the blizzards, and I have to ask for lids and a carrier. She said the shake would be coming right up. I look at the blizzards and they are 3/4 of an inch from the top and extremely melted. After several minutes she hands me the shake. I asked her if it was normal for the blizzards to be so melted, showing them to her. She said not normally, but the machine was "acting up". If I hadn't promised my son a blizzard I would have handed their sub-par product back and asked for a refund. In summary, I had to go to a competitor to pick up dinner for my family tonight, and not only did DQ Englewood lose a LOT of sales due to the apathy and laziness of the crew tonight, they lost this family's business forever, as I will NEVER go back!!
