We started with the rosemary Parmesan focaccia and the cow's milk burrata. Both were excellent. The focaccia was simple, fresh, and perfectly executed, while the burrata was an absolute standout. For our entrées, we had the Mafalda al Agnello, Raviolo al'Uovo, Spring Pea Agnolotti, and Tonnarelli di Mare. Every pasta was handmade and beautifully prepared. The Mafalda stole the show, with wide, ruffled ribbons coated in an incredible braised lamb sauce. The Raviolo al'Uovo was unlike anything I've had before--a single oversized raviolo with remarkable flavor and a presentation that was as memorable as it was delicious. Grist is proof that great dining doesn't require white tablecloths. It simply requires talented people making exceptional food. We couldn't recommend it more.

You have many options --- go up to the cash register and order there, order from the server who comes by your table (or in our case, bar), or use your phone by scanning the QR code. And if you use your phone, each person in your party can do it themselves on their own phone. Regardless, it all gets added to the same order for the same table. Pretty slick. At the end, when it comes time to pay, the app lets you split the check however you want, and you can even see the name of the person that ordered each item. The food was incredible. It's not cheap, and the portions are a little smaller than some might expect at an Italian restaurant. But for us, it was filling enough. I personally had the raviolo, which was delicious. Little did I know that in Italian, "raviolo" is singular while "ravioli" is plural. So I got one giant raviolo on my plate (see picture). I didn't care much for the runny egg yolk on top, but it was as advertised on the menu. All the other food orders were amazing, especially the desserts. Some white paper napkins came with the order, a pickle wedge wrapped in a plastic bag, and a small container of what looked like thousand island dressing sauce (presumably for the cheeseburger). The American Cheeseburger is two all beef patties, with American cheese, lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and some sliced pickles. Presentation was really good. The burgers were fried well done! The American Cheeseburger tasted very good! It was a little crispy along the edges. The pickles tasted a bit spicy. It's a really good burger and the price was reasonable. The Street Fries came in a paper cup and were well seasoned and fried perfectly. I used the container of thousand island sauce for the Street Fries since American cheeseburger already had enough condiments on it. The thousand island sauce is a little spicy but not too bad. I give Dayton Street Eats five stars. Delivery was prompt, food was fresh and really good, and the price seems fair considering similar fare at more mainstream establishments would probably be more expensive but with no greater quality. I had the Smoky the Bear, which is Mesquite Turkey, Lebanese bologna, jalapeños, a chipotle sauce, cheese etc. that was to die for and on a pretzel bun. Folks, if you're sick of drinking a coffee-flavored milkshake, switch to a cortado. It's only 2 ounces of steamed (not foamed) milk with two shots of espresso. You will actually taste the coffee because it won't be swamped in a 14 ounce cup of milk! Warehouse is a comfortable space with nice tables for smaller and larger parties plus a nice space outside.
