My husband loves this place more than he loves me. It's O-K. I like the soup (they have a nice soup selection but I like the cheddar broccoli) and skinny sub--I usually go for the veggie melt (avacado, Swiss, cheddar, provolone and mushrooms) often I'll add bacon My husband always orders the Italian + . He gets the original on white and he says it's the perfect portion. He snags a bag of the voodoo chips too. Potbelly has always served great sandwiches. I first encountered them at Midway airport in Chicago when I ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches. This time I ordered the wreck with no pickles and no hot peppers (be warned their peppers are hot). You can also get their sandwiches skinny or on flat bread. Great prices, healthy food. read more

Verdict: The Wreck didn't make or Wreck my day. 3.5/5. Got a Wreck, with salami, roast beef, turkey, ham, and swiss. It sounds massive but it's really not, coming in at a little over 500 kcal for the original size. Even the big one is a little over 700. Heck, I've seen salads with almost 2,000 kcal. (That's just wrong. I know. But back to the sandwich.) Good taste. Nice crunch to the roll. No complaints overall. Was it my favorite? Nah. Was I starving after an 8 hour drive? You bet. That's enough to tell me it was good but not great. On the positive side, these sandwiches aren't likely to give you a potbelly. read more

Ordered delivery for relatives stuck in hospital. Thru Yelp Delivery time was too long so cancelled order within 5 min. Spoke with Kyle No problem he'd take care of it credit will show in 2-3 days I then get a text 45 min later from delivery person saying that it's delivered! Called back to store Oh that was thru grub hub. You have to call them to cancel orders. No I ordered thru yelp and why didn't Kyle tell me that? He's not a mgr. Etc. never again. read more

I just met of my two very best friends here for lunch. One of us recently had a family tragedy and the other 2 of us met him for support. I am not sure how, but Cecelia picked up on this (even behind masks). By the time we ordered and went to pay for our food, she said "lunch was on them". We were all amazed! She even took the time to come to our table after we were done eating to give us cookies and words of encouragement. Went there today for lunch. Ordered 1/2 of the wreck sub. There was one thin slice if ham and I think part of a piece of turkey. Could have read a newspaper through it. Very disappointed. If it wasn't for the veggies I put on the sandwich it would of been basically bread. I will not be back for a visit. The broccoli cheese soup was good. I tried Pot Belly for the first time when I was living in Chicago and thought it was pretty decent. I'm pretty much sold if I can get a decent sandwich AND a milkshake at the same place. Stopped by the other night to sit down and get a bite while looking over some honeymoon plans with the soon to be wife. We were going to stop by Panera, but it was a couple minutes before 9pm and they were locking up, so we walked across to Pot Belly. The closing time on the door was 10pm, so we went in. WELL....their summer hours have them closing at 9pm, which we didn't know since we're old and we don't hang out with the student population these days, but they were really cool about us coming in at closing. They were very friendly and accomodating, and let us hang out while they cleaned up and closed the place. Our only complaint is that they put American cheese on the veggie sandwich - seriously, at least go Colby if you want some color! Thanks nice folks at Pot Belly - we'll be back. read more

It has been quite some time since my previous review of this establishment, and I have visited no less than a dozen times, including most recently on Tuesday. The decor has not changed, there have been, yet unexplored, menu additions. The main thing I want to convey is the customer service experience on the visits since my previous review. The first time I visited, which inspired my initial review, I felt as if I was an inconvenience to the staff. Since that review, on each of my subsequent visits I had excellent customer service. Regardless if I visited during peak times, slow times, or right near closing time (I hate being that guy, sometimes you just don't realize you're him until you read the sign on the way out) the staff has been very friendly. I am glad I visited since after that unfortunate first experience. read more

Stopped here yesterday for lunch after hearing my parents recommend this place to me for years. The employees were extremely nice and the subs were pretty good. I also got some veggie soup which was good too. The reason I didn't rate it five stars though was that I felt it was a little over rated. I had a friend get me excited about Potbelly. So I decided to try it. I ordered the chicken salad on wheat. The bread was dry the chicken salad was dry and the veggies were horribly wilted. Very good sandwich, could have been toasted just little bit less, edges were a bit dark and a small bit of black on the corner. Except for the corners, it tasted great. Chili also tasted wonderful. read more

We walked in from back entrance not too busy and was greeted immediately by "Melisa" (whom we later learned was manager) which was very nice, helpful, service with a smile and very professional. Me an my husband are advocates of great customer service which was given to us by "Melisa". My husband ordered the "wrack" and I had a turkey sandwich. Both were fresh, warm, soft, very tasty an fulfilling. We went in at right time because there was a rush after we sat to dine in which also was clean an inviting atmosphere.
