Pretty upset with the woman working on 07/16/23 around 4:30-5pm black headed and terrible attitude. She got everyone's order right but my moms and when we informed her she slammed the door and left us sitting in the drive thru. We went inside and apparently the ice cream machine was coming out runny and my mother couldn't get what she wanted which is okay we are very understanding but no apology and manager didn't seem to care she got her money back but now we will never get to get ice cream when we come back from Cookeville. Trying to order was a complete hassle. Got a chicken basket and it was very over cooked including the fries being over cooked. Almost taste like the grease hasn't been changed in months. I'll stop down on Friday night at 9 PM the food I ordered through drive-thru was absolutely the worst food I have ever receive from a fast food restaurant when I say very cold the fries were cold And obviously cooked around lunch the cheeseburger was especially cold The cheese was not even melted!! I am sure I could've got a better food out of a convenience store and warmed it up in the microwave!!! if you advertise your hours open till 10pm you need to cook till 10pm horrible experience total waste of $25 read more

Worst DQ I have ever been to... Slow and very un friendly..Went today to get one of their new flavored blizzards. Didn't realize it would take 25 minutes in the drive through to get it. 2 cars ahead of me and I saw what they got while sitting behind them. Nothing that should have taken that long. This Dairy Queen was the worst Dairy Queen I ever been to. I ordered 2 ice cream and 1 milkshake at the drive through. I was waiting for 15 minutes while waiting for my ice cream and milkshake I could see what was happening inside. I saw a young lady hugging a guy and he was picking her up , and walking around with her. When I walked in and ask to speak to the Manager and the young lady said that she was the manager. I asked what was her name and she gave me her name that it was Julia and that she cannot give me her last name and I know you can't because she's the manager. She asked me what was wrong and I told her that I ordered two ice cream cones and a milkshake and I've been sitting in the drive-through for almost 15 minutes. Julia said the not her job. I told her that it was because she is the manager of the store, she should help her employees. Not hugging a guy and playing around in Dairy Queen. I told Julia she be a good example to her employees. She was so so rude. The Dairy Queen in Monterey was the most filthiest unprofessional place ever been to my life and I'm 61 years old. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I won't even give it one star. read more

This Dairy Queen is definitely a blast from the past. The menu has not been updated like others, but it was still pretty decent. I would have liked to have the flamethrower burger, which wasn't available at this location. Oh well. Nothing special, but it wasn't terrible at all. This location is in a small town, and it was definitely a local hangout. It's not right off the interstate but not hard to find. We were craving DQ (all the ones near us closed), so we didn't mind. Not a bad stop if you find yourself needing some DQ between Crossville and Cookeville. read more

This Dairy Queen location used to be good, but not anymore. The last three times we have been, they have got our order wrong and been very rude. Very rude! They have charged full price for kids size drinks and did not give us the right flavor blizzards. The quality of the food has changed as well. Poor quality! We have been charged for food we did not get. I don't recommend the Monterey, Tn. Location. There is a nice Burger King close by! read more
