Stopped in around lunch time on this yesterday and I wish I would have went somewhere else. Looked dirty inside, people were getting their ice cream served to them before their actual meals. People were waiting in line 10-15 just to order, do to everyone being in the back and one person out front. I ordered just 4 chicken strips with no fries and a drink but, kept being told the fries come with it. I told her no dipping sauce and she kept asking what dipping sauce I wanted and if I wanted a drink. I finally had to slow it down and explain to her I only wanted the chicken tenders, not the meal. Then she charged me for the meal anyway so I had to go back up to the counter and tell her she charged me wrong, she stated that since I didn't want the fries and drink that the meal comes with it's still charged as a meal. Another lady had to explain to her she overcharged me and that I only was suppose to be charge $5 and some change for 4 chicken strips so she had to put it through and send it back to my card. Then my husbands fries tasted cold and old plus his sandwich was just thrown together. The people in the back don't care what they serve you as long as they get it to you and it's disgusting. Bathrooms smelled so bad I couldn't even use them and they hadn't been cleaned in a few days. When he got his sundae from getting the $7 meal deal there was maybe a spoonful of caramel sauce on the whole sundae. I won't be back to this one ever, Denton, MD. has the best Dairy Queen around that's probably why they are ranked higher and have been getting achievements left and right. This one needs a full overhaul and fast because what is going on there now is not good service, good food or a clean atmosphere. They need a darn manager who actually cares and puts time into the place plus the workers working there. read more

Went there on May 22nd but lobby was closed for maintenance. Went through drive thru but was told I couldn't make 3 different orders from there although I have 3 different persons wanting food. So I backed out and drove off to make a purchase elsewhere. Their monetary loss and my inconvenience. I say BS on their lack of customer service. read more

We stopped here Monday night for takeout. Had to go into the restaurant because they forgot part of our order. The manager took our bag of food, threw it away, looked at our receipt and told her crew to make our meals as ordered. We told her she didn't have to do that, but she did. We walked out with freshly made cheeseburgers and fries, and the meal was delicious. Thank you to the lady manager on duty that night. She went above and beyond for us and we are customers for life. Stopped in for a quick bite late this week. Dropped in deciding that we would grab something quick and eat inside. The people were friendly and the food came pretty quick. If you sit at a table they give you a number and then bring your meal to you. I even ordered a customer blizzard...I wanted peanut butter cheesecake and it's not on the menu. They had no problem accommodating me at all. I will say one thing. Beware of the sizes...small Isn't all that small. read more

Customer service is great. Offered a refund for having my order given away for free. However I feel as if you let people wait in the parking lot for their items, it's the establishment's job to check in on everyone to keep track. Check receipts. Do what makes sense. So we usually come here a lot (bad habit, I know) but today we waited about 20 minutes in the drive-thru for a cheeseburger, fries, hotdog and applesauce. That's it, no drinks, nothing extra. Cars stacked up behind us all for a kids meal and burger. The food is good but don't attempt the drive thru if you go to this location. Love Dairy Queen and I'm not trying to leave a nasty review but hopefully they'll quicken things up in that section read more

Stopped here for a blizzard on my way to New Jersey, since dairy queens are pretty non-existent there. I decided to go inside since the drive thru line wrapped around the building. This should have been clue #1. Service was extremely slow & they ultimately left out the cheesecake ingredient that I had requested be added. #FAIL. I should have waited 10 more minutes to go to the Sonic up the road! read more

What an AWFUL experience! Stopped on our trip home from Virginia Beach thinking we could grab a 'quick' meal and be back on the road...An hour and a half later we had finally finished our 'meal' and were back on the road. Upon ordering and sitting down, we had immediately realized that we had not received our drink cups. Fighting my way back to the counter, the young cashier claimed to have forgotten and handed us 3 cups (We ordered 2). This was just the start of our experience. The food came 30 minutes after we had ordered- a bacon cheeseburger had been forgotten of course. Ten minutes later my burger came out (lacking bacon). Was it even worth asking for another? Several minutes after that, someone brought out 2 blizzards. (I had ordered one blizzard and a peanut butter milkshake). The woman tipped one blizzard upside down and while the spoon fell to the table and it dripped all over our food she says, "do you really want me to remake it?". Another woman walked around aimlessly screaming, "who had 23, who had 23?". We found the whole 'system' to be incredibly inefficient, the staff to be unprofessional and incapable, and we were clearly not alone. We looked around at several other patrons awaiting their meals and commenting on how ridiculous this was. How it was their "last time here". Having experienced many restaurants and as a business owner myself, I would have been appalled to know that my store was performing in that manner. Never again would I stop into this store, and I'm confident that I'm not alone. Please take this criticism as an opportunity to repair a clearly damaged and declining business model. read more

Stopped here on my way home to NY because there are really none there. Service was very slow, and the staff just stared at me when I tried to order, totally unresponsive. Bathrooms are unclean, they forgot one of the kids' meals - overall very poor experience. If you want to stop for lunch on the way home from a road trip, skip this disheartening restaurant and keep driving. read more
