They have the most amazing burgers and of course steak, bar none. They also have the most delicious fried catfish, either 2 or 3 filets with 2 sides. First visit to Texas Roadhouse. Was given a gift cert for TR and decided to finally use it. It was a Friday night and VERY busy. No seats available at the bar but luckily there we only needed a table for two. Hostesses were friendly. They asked us if we would be ordering steaks and explained how we could pick our own from the selection they had at the entrance of the restaurant. We picked two. A New York Strip & Porterhouse I think. Pricing wasn't bad for location...I like $20 & $22. We only had to wait about 5 minutes. We were seated at a booth. The tabletop was cleared but underneath was missed. There were a few things like wrappers & napkins under it. Waitress was friendly and checked on us the appropriate amount of times. Food served promptly. The bread for the table came out nice and warm. The rolls had a sweetness to them that I didn't mind. The Caesar salad was just ok. Nothing terrible about it but I've had better. We got the fried pickles as an app. They were salty but that's kind of to be expected due to the pickling. The steaks were decent. If you don't go in there thinking you're going to get a Michelin Star quality steak, you won't be disappointed. It wasn't a grubby steak by any means but it also isn't the spot a steak snob would probably love. It's one of those places that is loved and thoroughly enjoyed by the locals. Our service was great , as usual, place clean, everybody friendly but the 16 oz ribeye , that I had asked to be medium came out pretty rare and tough. sent it back and still remained a very tough steak. usually a very juicy steak but this was very dried. My wife and I eat at the location in Seaford regularly. She always gets the 6oz. Dallas Fillet , and I get the 14oz Ribeye. We don't mind the fact that it's noisy. The name Roadhouse doesn't imply a quiet atmosphere. It's a fun place to go. The ribeye's are always cooked perfectly and have a great flavor with no steak sauce. They also mix some of the best Margaritas in the area . We just ate there tonight. We had a young man named Tyler as our server who we had never had before, despite working there for six years. Our server sergee was great! He was attentive and considerate. Full props to him! However something that was noticeable was the lady behind the bar was very rude. She had brown roots with blonde ends, up in a bun. She would berate her fellow colleagues, then when the manager would walk over she would put on a "customer service" tone and completely shift her attitude. It was especially disheartening to see her scold at the younger workers. One of the younger girls was waiting for a crowd of people to pass and she kept berating her for not being quick enough. Service is great, the woman who served me and my family was very helpful and interactive. appetizers and rolls are great delicious. the quality of food at this location is very consistent. ordered the country fried chicken, they forgot my fries but when we informed them they returned with a very large portion of fries. The chicken was great. I like how they give you an option for brown or cream gravy when ordering, despite it not being listed on the menu that you can choose. Yesterday was my birth day. So I opted to go to Texas Roadhouse in Seaford. Having been there before, I figured it was pretty safe with regard to the quality of the meal. We went there early and got seated quickly. The waitress was nice, but seemed hurried. (The restaurant had just opened and was not crowded). Anyway I got my usual: Medium Rare Sirloin. I always get Medium Rare since I never eat all my meal there and reheat the leftovers at home. That way the steak is not overcooked and dried out. Apparently, Medium Rare had a different connotation to whoever did that steak and it was slightly pink inside. I was hungry so I kept the steak anyway and didn't mention it while I was there. So if you want something Medium Rare, stress it and make sure it's not just a little pink inside because when it gets reheated, it will be more done than not. l have to say this particular location has generally been good and steak cooked as I usually like it! read more

Having received a gift card for Texas Roadhouse, it was our first visit. For a chain restaurant, we thought the food was quite good. The rolls were very good, and so were the house salads, except for some lettuce pieces that had brown edges on them. A little more attention to this issue would be appreciated, as I always put those pieces aside, and some of them can harbor bacteria. My husband enjoyed his ribs. My ribeye was tender and flavorful. It was a fun atmosphere, with good music that wasn't too loud, so that you could still converse. The young servers were energetic, attentive, and personable. We went to Texas Roadhouse because A.) I needed to get some dinner and B.) the group of people I was with wanted to get cocktails. The restaurant is located near the Hampton Inn (review is posted) which is where I was staying for the night. Walking into the establishment, it was obvious that it is definitely a hang out spot. Thank goodness we had someone hold us some seats at the bar because there was no vacant areas in the place-lol. Once we were all at the bar and settled, we began to order. The bartender/waitress was patient with all of us as as she took our multiple orders. I was uncertain as to what I initially wanted to eat. This was my first visit to any Texas Roadhouse so my only comparison was to other local restaurants here in Sussex County, DE. It was recommended that we used the Waitlist that they have online, so we did. We arrived at 6 and although it was packed, we were seated immediately. As soon as I walked in I knew this was a very different experience from other local restaurants. Almost every table was full, the bar was full and this place is huge. Our server, KJ, greeted us immediately and took our drink orders while supplying a basket of warm yummy rolls. I have been dying for a bone-in ribeye steak for over a year since I moved to Delaware and this was the first time it was on a menu. We were a party of 3 , the restaurant is packed, it's dinner hour and I tell you, KJ, out tiny dynamo of a server didn't miss a beat! Our entire order was correct the first time. All of our meals were generous portions and prepared as requested. I eat out a lot and this place got it right. Quick and efficient service, delicious food served as requested, TVs by the bar that were visible to us, trivia game on the table to pass the time and plenty of free refills. Friends and I were in the area for Punkin Chunkin. There are only a couple places where we wanted to eat that weren't fast food chains and we ended up choosing here. There were a lot of people but we were surprisingly seated quickly (5 people was approximately a 20 minute wait instead of the 45-50 minutes we were initially told.) Our waitress was quick, attentive and friendly. Food was decent- if I were in the area again I'd probably end up stopping here again. There's a variety of foods that will meet everybody's cravings/etc. I tried the buffalo wings and one of the salads- both were good but fairly standard.
