Had family pick up order last night, I ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard. It was missing the key ingredient in the name. Cheesecake. I've ordered this before and had no problems. Another instance was last week, we door dashed an order and it was someone else's, nothing we ordered at all. I messaged door dash and they gave a 3$ refund. For the completely wrong order. I have been to the Dairy Queen off Marshall and 169 numerous times over the years since I have lived in Shakopee and never once have they gotten my order right. Today was the last straw. My order was not that tough, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with 2 patties plain, a large fry and a medium chocolate malt. What they tried to give me was my burger without bacon, a chocolate covered ice cream cone and my large fry. Then when I told the girl at the window that I didn't order a cone, I ordered a medium chocolate malt, she tried to give me an ice cream cone without chocolate on it. Apparently they do not listen at all to what you are saying and I am done giving them any money for their horrible service. The last time I was there and they got my order wrong the people inside acted like they didn't care and did nothing wrong. I even had to tell the manager numerous times what I ordered and what they got wrong only to have them still mess it up. Now, I speak english very well, been here in the US for 57 yrs, and am very clear in what I say but wow. This company needs to give their employees hearing and focus tests. A drive through order does not take that long to get and shouldn't have 2/3'rds of the meal wrong. read more

Interesting to me this DQ has such lousy ratings. This is by a mile the best DQ in the area. The other DQ in Shakopee closed but was never good. The DQ's in Prior Lake and Savage are pathetic. I think this one offers the most consistency with blizzards that are overfilled and generally mixed well. It's hard to get consistent food from any fast food place but when it comes to ice cream this DQ is pretty spot on. My only complaint is they've really let the landscaping around the building get weedy and gross looking so it doesn't give off a great vibe. read more

I think that this DQ it's really yummy I give it a 10/10 the blizzards make me feel so good .fresh it's clean good customer service but what I don't like is they have one window. other than that I really love DQ. this place is really nice the order was correct and I have to say I'm impressed I really got the hype and I think well I know I'm going to visit DQ way more often. read more

This is what happens when you let teenagers run the whole show. Utter chaos, but a very slow chaos. I had two employees at the front counter argue over whether they should give me a blizzard that had been sitting in the freezer for over 20 minutes since I ordered the same one. Hello, I'm right here. And no, I don't want a blizzard that was made 20 minutes ago even if you think it is still OK. I want a fresh, made to order one. Don't usually post reviews, especially poor ones but the service at this location is terrible. I waited in drive thru for at least 20minutes only to have an employee tell me he had to cut in front of me (in the drive thru) cuz he had to run an errand for work. I might have been fine with the wait but having an employee decide his errand was more important than customer service made me decide to take my business elsewhere. So I decided to call and let the manager know the impression his staff was giving me. After calling the store someone answers and asks me "what do you want?" Turns out this shining example is actually the manager, who can't tell me how to get a hold of the owner then proceeds to talk to someone named Tasha in the background while I was still on the line. Having worked in service myself I was merely calling to inform the manager of a very poor customer service experience, only to have that experience become much more hostile and rude. Hopefully the owner of this location reads this and takes this to heart. Tried to call corporate but got disconnected twice. read more

Pretty good food but the crowd is yuppies and teeny boppers. I love the banana splits and cheese curds although they are ridiculously overpriced Not a real family place in my opinion. Usually very crowded and slow service but makes up for it with good food and ice cream. read more

Ordered a blizzard with extra toppings. They filled 3/4 of the cup with plain vanilla ice cream and then added all the topping just where you could see. Didn't mix the whole blizzard together and was charged for more when we got less. Don't go to this DQ!!! It's been terrible since it open and had stayed true to that. read more

0/10 rating, this place is the worst fast food experience. Had to remind them to give me my banana shake, gave me a spoon for a shake. My friend ordered a chicken basket and his sprite tasted like tonic water, same thing with my other friend his sprite tasted like tonic water. We asked for a new one and a straw for my banana shake and they didn't give me the straw. Also didn't give my friend his chocolate sundee. Had to go trought the drive through 3 times to get all the food. There was a car behind us that also had to go back to fix their order. The French fries were very soggy. Worst fast food experience I've had. But all that isn't even the worst thing, the worst thing is that the worker dropped the credit card into the window slit of the door. Horrible service. I ordered a blizzard and they didn't put any of the candies in it. As the guy was taking my order, he stopped when I was in the middle of it and I had to have someone else complete and take my order. Also ordered a PLAIN burger, and they put cheese, pickles and ketchup on it. I took it back and complained and asked for a new one. They messed that one up too.
