Stopped here for lunch after playing at the park with our son. I love how it's close to the splash pad and sandventure park, so you could get some yummy ice cream for a treat! We've been a big fan of Tommy's back when they had a location in Burnsville. We also have been to the Chaska location. They all have been great! I love the burgers and amazing malts. This time my hubby tried the Cuban special and I had the patty melt. You can't go wrong with the delicious onion rings either. It has a family friendly atmosphere and they have something for everyone on the menu.

Had a great first visit to Tommy's Malt Shop! The staff were very friendly and the vibe was great! We had some onion rings to share with our malts. I had the Smoked Lucy Burger, which was very flavorful. My wife had the Chicken Bacon Club, which was the star of the show! The malts were great and refreshing on the warm day. We will definitely be back!

Thanks Tommy's Malt Shop for providing great service and great food!! I would drive 30 min out of the way to come back here! I went on a Friday night and the place was packed, but it still only took 5 minute to get seated. The restaurant is like a classic dinner, glass ice cream cups and frosted mugs and all! Yes you herd me right, the frosted mug is for the 1919 root beer! Yum! Just get it.. Indoor and outdoor seating. Restaurant was clean. I don't know how you could experience everything this restaurant has to offer with one visit! They bring the ice cream out to you first, generous portions. They had so many different flavors! If you eat at this restaurant and say to yourself, it's ok, we have desert at home....your off your rocker! ..really you have fallen and can't get up. Stop cheating your self on life and get the full experience. Also, you should order a 1919 root beer. We are finally to the food ...my wife got the burger, it looked so good I had to try it, good tasting classic burger! I got the grilled cheese brisket sandwich, it was so good I forgot where I was. Kids meals were good sized portions and reasonably priced. They also serve 1919 root beer in a frosted mug! It was really kinda weird, everyone seamed happy to work there...strange. I have to go back to try something else! Thanks Tommy's for providing good food, friendly service and a family atmosphere!

Great service and great food. The malts were delicious and the staff was super friendly. Great place to take family and kids or for a quick date night in town.

What a great environment, awesome malts, and tasty burgers. I need to go back to try out a Tommy's Lucy. The entire staff was very friendly, with the owner (Brett) checking in on our table multiple times. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and prompt. I like restaurants where service comes from multiple people, as the team vibe is fun. I really like the price point, too! We'll be back for sure.

Where to start.... What drew us in were the prices and malts on the menu. However, what made us decide not to return was the service and the bathrooms. The burgers were decent but like a few other burger places I won't mention; the burger prices seem cheap but every condiment or topping was an added charge. The service started out fine, I was nicely directed to their bathroom while the others in my party were shown to a table. It it kind of fell short after that. The restrooms were singular. One for the males, one for the females. The female bathroom was horrible and not clean. I had to wipe down the seat as it was dirty and the floor had lots of TP single sheets on it. It didn't smell bad but the look and experience was very off putting. Once I sat down at the table, the server was prompt, and a little helpful. But there are things I would've suggested if I worked there or was a regular. 'Servers should always ask " do you want your malt now, during or after your meal?" We weren't asked and of course we got them right away. We were finished without malts by the time the food came. When the server who brought our food passed our food around, there was a single fry sitting on the tray. She said 'oh I bet you want that little guy' and dumped the tray that has been serving food to how many other people and has had lots of other food, fingers, and things touch it. I was not pleased. Removed that single fry right away. Regardless that was not sanitary or welcomed. There was no silverware at the table so for those of us who like to cut our burgers in half before eating had to go up to the server to ask for a knife. I waited however he never came back to the table it eve looked in our tables direction. I did notice him flirting with another wait-staff. I could see where his priorities were. When we were finished we chatted a little bit but the whole time our table was just filled with glasses and baskets and plates. Not once did any server come over to offer to clear things away. It was another turn off. This place is clearly a mom and pop place with an old timey feel and sadly only kids in charge. Probably won't be coming back. Even if I was in the area and really craving a malt. I'd still go somewhere else or just go without.

Came down to Tommy's for the Tater Tot Juicy Lucy. The dining area was very clean and well maintained. They do a great job of social distancing in this COVID time. The outdoor dining in a decent size. They are located on a busy corner so there is a decent amount of traffic noise. The staff were very professional and pleasant. Our server was very attentive and came back multiple times to check on us. The food was great! Fries were delicious and that Tater Tot Juicy Lucy was soo good! Topped it all off with a malt. Overall, this is a great place to go with an up to date atmosphere great staff and great food. I will be back soon!

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual. They had some nice lunch specials but none of them caught my eye so I had the chicken taco pizza. It tasted fresh and that's exactly what I needed. It was served with sour cream and salsa and topped with lettuce, tomato and olives. The other 2 in my group got the lunch walleye sandwich with chips and the avocado chicken sandwich (she normally always gets a burger). They both said it was ok. I was the happiest with mine. We also shared onion rings and they were decent.

The sauce was rich and flavorful, the chicken cutlet crunchy on the outside, moist and yummy on the inside. There was lots of gooey, melted parmesan cheese. So good. The garlic "toast" was disappointing. It was spongy, soft, and had zero flavor. I couldn't even save it by scooping up sauce because the spongy texture was off-putting. This entree comes with a side garden salad and I ordered the blue cheese dressing. The dressing tasted like mayo with no hint of blue cheese. On my third bite, I uncovered a dead, slimy, rotten piece of arugula and that did it for the salad. Ugh. I definitely recommend the Chicken Parm. Maybe after this they'll tighten up their salad greens and wrap the toast separately from the entree.

Every time I leave Crooked Pint, I just end up feeling... unsatisfied. It's not bad, but the food always seems to be missing that extra kick of flavor. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Mad Pepper Juicy Lucy, expecting something spicy but instead, it was completely mild and kind of bland. To make matters worse, the service was pretty slow and our server didn't seem very attentive. If you're just looking to grab a drink and maybe an appetizer during happy hour, it's fine for that. But if you're after a meal that really hits the spot, I'd say there are better options nearby.

They also have a wedding venue and curling arena attached so it is pretty busy every time but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Food: I got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. I would say 4/5 for those, they were good I wish there was more bacon but the tot was stuffed with green onion and cheese then it came with queso and bacon on top. I would get them again. As my meal I got the lobster melt and it wasn't my favorite it didn't have as much cheese as I would want and felt like it lacked flavor. I think it would have been better with onions or like a sauce to dip it in. Service: it was a packed Saturday night but our server was attentive and very nice!

I imagine it would be really nice in the spring/summer as there is a horse track right outside of the restaurant which would provide a great view to a race. It definitely got a little loud just sitting inside They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. They also offered a great and surprisingly extensive Happy Hour Menu which we got there in time to take advantage of.  We got the burger and thought it was very tasty, we love a good caramelized onion. I thought it definitely needed some ketchup to balance out the heaviness of the onions and cheese with a little bright acidity. I also thought the patties themselves were very good, thin with a slight crisp to them with a soft bun and melty sauces and cheese. Since it was a happy hour option the burger did not come with any sides like it would have as an entrée. We also got fish tacos and we were a big fan of the slaw and pineapple mayo which brought a balance of sweet and savory to the dish. Only came with two tacos (at least for happy hour) which might not be enough food if you're hungry. The hot smoked salmon was one of the more unique items we tried. The salmon itself was super tasty - salty and smoky just what you want. They use the smaller scraps of salmon that wouldn't work in their Wood-Fired King Salmon entrée and incorporate it into this appetizer which is great sustainability-wise! The salmon came with a creamy ricotta, salty capers, crunchy crostini, and sweet and acidic pickled red onions. We liked this combination a lot but felt it could have used even more sweetness/acidity, maybe just adding a couple more onions to the dish. We really enjoyed the 'Garganelli' pasta dish. It was creamy and indulgent with pieces of lobster and freshly shaved parmesan on top. The chili added a really nice layer of heat but wasn't overpowering. The server was nice enough to split up everything we had over the evening to share (which explains the two small portions in the photo). MN Mule - 8/10 Pretty average but solid mule. However, it was served in a plastic spam cup which elevated the whole experience. Margarita - 9/10 Very good margarita - we were told it was a house made margarita not from a mix. Very bright and fresh flavors that definitely let the tequila shine. Overall would definitely recommend!
