I'm honestly shocked to see the 1 star reviews, but they're at LEAST 1 year old. Almost all of them. But something must've changed recently because these people are AWESOME!!! First of all, they're most likely understaffed. The longest I waited was 20 minutes-and I'm fine with that. If I gotta wait, I will wait. It's worth it. Every. Single. Time. This DQ is super sketch. Check your order and make sure they aren't shorting you, especially on Blizzards. I ordered two medium blizzards that were both about 3/4 full. I mean like a good inch and a half or two below the edge of the cup. When the drive thru person handed them to me I pointed out how under filled they were and she responded that she didn't make them. How is that even an answer? Why would you even serve it to me? My best guess is that under filling their products is the norm for this DQ. If you are in the market for an overpriced ice cream treat, grab a premium brand like Ben and Jerry's or Snoqualmie. I've been to this Dairy Queen many times, and it's always been decent for the most part. Last night was just...atrocious. We arrive an hour before closing, and I use the restroom while my boyfriend orders. One of the stalls is out of order, I use the one next to it. The lock doesn't work. The toilet paper isn't even in the dispenser! The paper towel dispenser next to the sink is open and empty. When I get back out to meet with my boyfriend at the counter, the girl working gives us a paper sack with our food (we asked to dine in) saying "We're out of trays". Seriously? My boyfriend fills his soda. Above the soda machine it says "Out of Ice". He gets the ice from the person at the counter, fills his drink and we sit down. Getting out the food, they get my order wrong. We asked for a #10, which is a grilled chicken sandwich...I got a breaded chicken sandwich instead. I didn't bother asking for the one I wanted. The onion rings that came with it, COLD, like they'd been sitting out for hours. My bf's burger wasn't even as good as they normally are. He takes a sip of his soda. It's flat. He takes it back up to the soda machine, tries ALL THE SODA IN IT, ALL FLAT. I was SO DISAPPOINTED, in everything in this Dairy Queen. Just...wow. The dairy queen in Poulsbo is way better than this one, even if it is run by all high school students. This dairy queen is sooooooooooo slow, it's painful. I had gone to the Dairy Queen in Poulsbo before to get cakes and they turned out great, so I expected the same at this one. I needed a cake for my son's bday, so I brought in a design and was assured that the "artist" would do a great job. As soon as i walk to the counter, the young man behind the counter and another man in the lobby started throwing bbq sauce cup at each other. Even if they are employees ( one was off the clock), they should do this in back where no customer can see. The burgers came out of the microwave. From the lobby you can see into the kitchen and the prep line. All 3 burgers went in and was reheated for a minute. The food tasted like it was old and reheated. The fries was stale and hard. My family came here to get some sundaes. We live maybe 2minutes from the DQ and came home to enjoy out goodies, only to have them drop all over us upon opening. This is due to putting the hot fudge on the bottom only of the sundae, there fore the ice cream leaned over and melted all over. SCOTT is the absolute rudest person I have ever seen working at a DQ!! He screwed up three out of the five orders and when he gave us two sundaes instead of blizzards (like we ordered), he said "sure it was" and threw everything in the trash right in front of us when he easily could have turned those into the blizzard we ordered!! When we then asked for our small drink, he very rudely snatched the cup and threw it at us and told us VERY RUDELY "go have a nice day". The sandwich was a sorry mess. Soggy chicken, smashed bun. The tomato was so thick and unevenly cut that it slipped out on the first bite. The lettuce was in a big pile. Oh- and no napkin. This is the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. We've tried a couple times giving it the benefit of the doubt and thinking that it may have just been a one-time situation. But the franchise owner decides when and what he will offer even if Dairy Queen corporate decides to offer it he often times does not, for example the pumpkin spice blizzard in the month of September which they decided not to do until the end of the month even though corporate was advertising it starting September 1st. The restaurant is dirty, it looks like no employees know how to use a broom. The bathrooms are filthy and the food just isn't very good. I can't blame the poor employees for what their management decides to do and the way they decide to run the restaurant. If your looking for a quality product with good customer service don't come here...I drove thru and got a large dipped cone and a medium dipped cone. The woman who initially took my money was nice but the guy who handed me my cones was something else. He gave me a large dipped cone that had a medium size of soft serve. I've been thru the Bremerton location many times and get a large dipped cone..silverdales idea of large is mediocre. I told him it looked like a medium. He said he can't do anything about that. Then he handed me the medium dipped cone I ordered and they had the same size of soft serve. I showed him that they were the same. He then said she'll help you and turned to the first woman who helped me at the drive thru. He then stood with his back to me on the other side of the window and started flailing his arms all over the place. He was holding his head in his hands and looked like he was having a temper tantrum. It was beyond ridiculous. He was obviously upset that I called them out on the serving size of the cones. The lady took my large cone back and remade it. It looked the exact same when she came back to give it to me and this time she was not smiling. She had a frown on her face. I took it and left. Mind you I was not rude. I just questioned why I was paying for a large and getting a medium. If I am going to get a medium then I want to pay for the medium price. Is it my fault they tried to short me on the product I paid for? I think not. As we walked into the restraint one lady was standing at the counter and eight people were in the dining area.
