The front desk at the Hampton Inn and Suites recommended Bob Evans in Hermitage. I've driven by Bob Evans a million times and never had the opportunity to try one. This was the day as I set out for lunch. Bob Evans is a chain of restaurants in America. the cuisine centers around classic American Home cooked style. I was greeted pleasantly upon my arrival and seated very quickly. My server came over and walked me through the menu after letting her know it was my first time at a Bob Evans, Luckily, it was the last day that they were serving their summer chicken special, so I ordered it. I have to say the meal really tasted like a home-cooked comfort food meal. The chicken was awesome, it was roasted and came with a house made BBQ sauce and spices. It was juicy and tender throughout with no overpowering flavours form the sauce or spices. My meal came with creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, Bob Evans Coleslaw and a fresh hot roll. The lunch was very good, so I would eat at Bob Evans again. The service was great and I got value for my buck.
