Went to the Waffle House in Niles,OH on Wednesday. Was served by Alexandra. She was smiling when she came to the table and never quit. I go to Waffle House and I want sausage gravy on my hash browns. Most of the time if it's not during bankers hours, they are out or they let it sit too long without stirring it and it goes bad. I was just about to order my meal and was informed no sausage gravy. I ordered nothing and left. Lost a sale cause of this. It's a deal breaker for me. Was out late and to my dismay I couldn't find any restaurants open that late. Thought I'd take a chance on this Waffle House. The restaurant was clean. The folks were hardworking and getting things done. Service was excellent. The operator of the restaurant was working late with his team right there with them in the fight. Ok look it's Waffle House. It's not glamorous, it's not fancy and it's not expensive. It's a 24 hour diner with some of the best breakfast comfort foods (in my opinion) and they are scattered all over the nation. So how does it rate a 4 Star? Well it's clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is cooked well. And bonus points if I get take out and it is done great as well! This experience was A+ all the way around! Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived to the table hot and just as ordered. The items we took home were also cooked and packaged nicely. so i got to ohio and i wanted some food. on the way to the hotel i saw a waffle house and it sounded familiar and east-coastish. rounded up a few friends at the hotel and drove back and ate. food was fairly basic but it was quite tasty. i appreciated the friendliness of the waitress. i felt bad cuz i think i insulted their water. sorry waitress. had their specialty breakfast thing that came with hashbrowns(or grits), eggs(got them scrambled with cheese mmmmm), sausage(or bacon), toast and their famous waffle. its great that everything is made fresh to order and right there behind the counter. ok im running out of things to say. oh waffle house working people that night, we're the 4 asian dudes that came by like at 1am. :) people are so nice around here. it's awesome. read more

They have the best waffles of any breakfast chain restaurant and their hash browns are famous for a reason.
