Wow, forgot how good Blizzards are lol Saw a commercial on tv about DQ and decided to take a trip there. Didn't think DQ would be this busy or a place that people still go to. We got 3 medium blizzards and it was a big cup that we didn't think it'll be that much ice cream. It was worth the trip. Service was good and staff were friendly. Small place with maybe 24 seatings. It smells like a mop inside. I guess that's good because it means it's clean. It made me a little queazy. Pretty strong. They have a sign that says they accept no app deals or coupons. Can you be a DQ and do that? There was a line from the counter to the back of the store. Only one person in the shop. So this person had to take and make every order. My order got messed up but honestly that's a lot of stress on one person to try and get 12 people in and out. On a day like today people just kept coming. This is the only DQ near us and it isn't bad or great it's just good, owners are nice and if there is an issue, they take care of it instead of arguing, the service is good and the food is consistent. read more

Second time visiting this location. 1st time store supposed to opened at 11 it was 11:15 and the lady was just pulling up to open. Tonight. Same lady behind counter doesn't speak clear English. Would not honor the DQ app. Fluorescent light bulbs just sitting on one of the booths completely unsafe. Will not be back to this location. read more

Dairy Queen has been around for years. It was always where my parents took me when I was younger. The days u can never forget. They have added many things to the menu since back in the day. the blizzard, to hot fudge sundaes, it was ways good no matter what. It's a shame that there are not more around. Never Tryed the food. But did hear it's good. If you ever want to get a car for a birthday get the ice cream. They are really the best This is a great location and gets packed at times. Just wish that was more people working. Only one person in hear working when I walk in. And can take awile to be waited on. It's the only complaint I have for this location, Wish Dairy Queen had tables and chairs for the outside so people can sit and enjoy a nice spring day. read more

When I was younger, very younger, we had a Dairy Queen right next to the Silver Drive-In Theater and it was a Brazier Dairy Queen, which meant they had a grill, so you could have a hot dog or cheeseburger before indulging in your ice cream treat! Alas, Dairy Queens are far and few between in the area that I live in now, but my childhood memories of DQ have come back to life as not only do we have a Dairy Queen nearby, but it's a Brazier Dairy Queen and they serve barbecued pulled pork sandwiches, yay! Seriously, the guy that owns and runs this shop, is one friendly guy, who keeps an awesomely clean store and has it all from Blizzards to dogs to ice cream cakes! Their self serve stand up freezers are jam packed with ready to go decorated ice cream cakes, ice cream cupcakes, bagged ice cream sandwiches of six in either chocolate or vanilla ice cream filled and they do fill them! Also are boxes of six Dilly Bars, coated in either chocolate or cherry and orange and vanilla sugar free and hello fat free ice cream. Michael and I have visited for the last four days straight, oh shut up! Our first trip we decided on a six pack of the Buster Bars which are both of our old time favorites, a huge vanilla ice cream bar loaded with salted redskin peanuts, a thick gooey layer of fudge and all coated in a chocolate shell. Yum, check out the pics! The second day we bought a six pack box of orange and cream bars, naturally sugar and fat free. So refreshing and so delicious! And on the third day of Christmas, oh wait, on the third day we bought a six packed bag of overstuffed and open your mouth wide chocolate ice cream filled sandwiches! Are you drooling yet? Today we bought a six pack of Cherry coated Dilly Bars, yes you can buy any of these things that I have mentioned individually, but why? Worse dairy queen ever. I been to quite a few in my travels/moves. Save yourself and drive to a farther location or go elsewhere. Their blizzard cake was expensive and not as advertised. Was missing most of the candy. Waste of money for sure. I Contacted the store to resolve this without leaving a negative review and they did nothing to rectify this just kept defending their work. I stopped here for a cool treat over the weekend. When I walked in there was no one behind the counter. I waited a couple minutes and a young girl came out from the back. No hello...nothing. She just stood in front of the register until I order. There was literally no communication whatsoever. I was handed a sad looking ice cream cone that was missing the unique Dairy Queen bumps and swirl. The ice cream itself was good but the experience was meh. read more

Okay so here I go with a rant on this particular DQ. First let me say my family and I love the ice cream at DQ and it's always a special treat for my daughter. We went tonight and we were shocked to see how busy it was on such a cold night. Upon arrival the line was long and there was only 1 person working. My daughter wanted a kids come, simple and I ordered a blizzard. This particular DQ was just purchased by new owners and they are cutting corners, all bad! First off they always, always have 1 person working, the previous owners always had at least 2. They are not open year round anymore, but my biggest issue is the quality of the food. Like I said I ordered a blizzard, Oreo to be precise. I received my blizzard and I knew right away. Fake Oreos! Seriously? I know it may not seem like a big deal to people but when you pay $5.00 for an Oreo blizzard, that's what I expect. Not only were they fake Oreos they were very skimpy. Another issue is the napkins, you can no longer grab your own. There is a big sign posted about "wasting" napkins. I was given 2, yes literally 2 napkins for me and my toddler. I guess napkins are really expensive these days. Look I get it you have a business to run but stop cutting corners where it's clearly obvious. Prices go up, quality goes down, napkins are assigned. Sadly I will not go back to this DQ, I'll travel a little further where it's not all about the dollar. I'm an ice cream brat to say the least, so this time of year is a time of suffering where a lot of the shops close down for the cooler months. I was hankering for something sweet after dinner and forgot all about the DQ. During this time of year, it's empty in there. I don't mind it one bit. As far as the ice cream goes, it's simple soft serve that you can jazz up into different things (shakes, sundaes, blizzards). All of is is about average. I usually go for blizzards on the rare occasion that I stop in and they are served to me upside down (as the commercial says- it's not a requirement for me though). They're pretty decent. I was a little let down tonight that the cookie dough tasted kind of like freezer burn or something, but I powered through that 81 grams of sugar power house. There are absolutely better options without a doubt, but in a pinch, it works. read more

Yesterday I went into this location and ordered a truffle blizzard. I wasn't happy with the presentation or taste so I asked very nicely if I could switch it for something else. The employees there were extremely rude about it, they basically wanted to force me to eat the blizzard. I declined and requested a refund for the blizzard and two hotdogs that I ordered. The manager was very angry and told me I'm no longer welcomed at DQ. Very rude and disappointing. I've never been treated like this, even Mcdonalds's will replace your food smh. This is by far the worst Dairy Queen ever. The ice cream was fine but the service is horrendous! I was just there today and the Asian lady was ridiculously rude. I'm Asian so don't think this is a racist review. From beginning to end she was very rude. We almost left if I hadn't promised my son a blizzard. The service was rude and the store itself was set up very stand offish. From the huge sign on the door in regards to bathrooms only for customers to the huge sign in the napkin dispenser that said "DON'T WASTE NAPKINS" I mean come on, what kind of place is this, we aren't in the middle of center city for crying out loud. Been there twice,theres a woman and a teenager that work there. Firs time I was there put my order and the woman forgot to put walnuts on my Oreo blizzard said she didn't hear that, didn't say I'm sorry about , just said I didn't charge you for that ! so I paid for it . 2nd time order same thing Oreo blizzard with walnuts and my boyfriend a Sunday with sprinkles and what now? The woman gives me my Oreo blizzard with walnuts and hardly NO Oreo cookies!!! And for the ice cream Sunday no sprinkles brought it to her attention and she said " I didn't here you" !! Wth is this woman thinking?? Instead out of courtesy to say " I'm sorry "and just add a couple of sprinkles no she continues making the ice cream and that was that! I love ice cream , love the area but definitely not going there again until they put someone else courteous and knowing what the hell there doing!
