I was Anthony's first customer of the day, and he treated me well. I went with his Chicago Dog (see photo) which came as described and was a mouthful to consume. I had to apply pressure and squeeze this creation down to a size that fit into my mouth from first bite to last. All beef wiener, potato roll and a side table for garnish. He even made me a cup of coffee on the house. Fun deliciousness all the way. And the surrounding buildings were just as charming and worthy of closer inspection. The cafe next door had some worthy looking baked goods that would have made a nice dessert had I the time to sit in their lovely parlor and indulge. Next time, for sure. It was a good portion, the roll was dense and as thick as a bagel. I'm afraid to know the salt content, but you could taste it for sure. The staff is nice and very quick with their service. The store is always fully stocked with drinks and the warmer has pretzel dogs along side cups of regular and jalapeno cheese.
