    Asads 6 Loaded Fries
    Che C.

Fries are a superior food on their own. But add some protein and other toppings and it's a party in your tummy. I ordered the loaded fries from Asads. You get to choose your heat level and I went with mild because I can't handle spicy food. The fries are topped with cheese, chicken and Asads special sauce. You get a nice portion that can feed 2-3 ppl depending on your level of greed lol. So tasty and reheats well the next day.

Walked in and ate inside. Had to try the loaded fry's from other reviews. They are very good and loaded! I ordered "hot" on my items. The loaded fry's were hot but not temperature hot. Still great to dig in. I also ordered 2 sliders. They are full chicken sandwiches pretty much. They were spicy hot and temperature hot. I do like lettuce and tomato on my chicken sandwiches but they only have a pickle. The counter person was nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is decorated in a lot of chicken graffiti style.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant seemed very clean and the tables were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordering my sandwiches "hot" is an extremely spicy hot for sure. I do like it but took a minute to get used to that spice thats for sure! The Cayenne pepper is real! Well worth the try. The price for the entire meal was $36.63 not bad for 2 people.

I waited a while to visit until the hype died down because I'm not a fan of crowded places or long waits. I've seen the lines at the Cottman location, and standing outside in cold weather just isn't worth it to me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What I do like about this spot is the sit-in option with the cool graffiti-style murals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've tried both the #1 on Uber Eats and the #2 in-store, and both times the food was super fresh and delicious. That said, if you can, definitely visit the store--prices are much better than ordering through Uber Eats! I definitely enjoyed the food and it was always fresh and hot. I tried the mild and next time I'll order the hot!

I ordered the same "Hot" meal I get every single week -- I know exactly how spicy it's supposed to be. But this time, it was made so unbearably spicy that we simply couldn't eat it. Hoping for a reasonable response, we called Asad's Hot Chicken in Bensalem to let them know they had clearly gone overboard with the pepper. Instead of any kind of customer-focused attitude, the manager on the phone offered a half-hearted apology and told me to "just be more careful next time and order Mild." I calmly replied that I'd be leaving a review on Google -- and he simply hung up on me. Great job, guys! With that kind of customer service, I'm sure you'll have tons of loyal customers.

I'd been to the original Asad's on the Boulevard and the hot chicken was worth the hype, but it came with a long line and wait time with no way to order ahead. I was excited to see this secondary location open in Bensalem, since it offers online ordering. It is also a storefront with an inside space located in a strip mall, compared to the original Asad's stand in the lot of a gas station. The online ordering interface gives an estimated wait time which I've seen range from 10 to 25 minutes, depending on the time of day I was ordering. The estimate was accurate each time I've been. The chicken was as good as I expected. It's difficult for me to say how it compares to the original Asad's without doing a direct side-by-side taste test, but I think the Bensalem location stands on its own as exceptionally delicious hot chicken--with the added convenience of online ordering and a larger location.

So like everyone else, I've heard the hype and seen the viral videos of Asad's Hot Chicken on Cottman Avenue. But then I saw that there's an outpost in Bensalem which was easier for parking as it's in a strip mall. Wife and I decided to check out this restaurant. Once we got inside this no-seat place, there were several people waiting for their orders, and after I placed mine several more were coming in especially for food delivery services. The food was ready relatively quickly, and we were out the door into the car. No burgers here; just the chicken sliders, tenders, fries, shakes, desserts of banana pudding, and smoothies. The levels of spice range from: none, mild, hot, extra hot, and reaper. I ordered some loaded fries with no spice, and a two slider with fries - one with no spice and one with mild. I dove into the loaded fries in the car. Loaded with lots of cut up tenders and overloaded with the special sauce which was a thick ketchup/Mayo blend or I felt was like a Japanese Yum Yum sauce. There may have been some cheese, too? There was no coleslaw in there. For the sliders, the special sauce was too much. The pickles were good, but honestly I could not tell a difference in the mild vs no spice. The fries were crunchy at first, but not by the time I got home. Overall, a very messy meal that was tasty, but nothing special enough for a specific return trip for me. I can only imagine what the hot, extra hot, or reaper would have tasted like. I think I also would have much more enjoyed the food if there wasn't as much special sauce dousing the loaded fries and sliders. And they even give you extra ramekins of the sauce in the meals. A bit over $30 for the loaded fries #6 and two sliders with fries #2. Friendly service, no seating, lots of customers, better than the Cottman Ave. store?

Tender and flavorful chicken. I enjoyed the banana pudding. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side for everything. It's pretty heavy and can overwhelm the flavor of everything else. The sliders are more like a full chicken sandwich. I would recommend overall if you're looking to try something other than Chick-fil-A or KFC.

Delectable!!!! This is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life, hands down!! I tried the hot it wasn't too much or too little, just enough! The cheese fries were spectacular and that milkshake! So let me note that I got vanilla shake. The inside of the cup was drizzled with caramel as well as bite sized pieces of ice cream cone sprinkled throughout.

Loaded fries with way too much sauce, wasn't even able to eat it.

Got a loaded platter on uber eats, there was enough sauce on it for 3 platters, literally couldn't even eat it. Not worth it at all.

Been recommended to come and try this place out so many times and I'm glad I listened. I placed my order online and it was ready for pickup within 25-30 minutes. When I went to go pick it up, there was quite a line waiting inside. I ordered Asad's #2 that has two sliders and fries on the side and asked for the hot spice for my food. By far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and the fries were still very crispy by the time I got home to eat. Honestly those fries are amazing. Place is pretty tiny, only for pick ups only and they probably do delivery as well. There's no seated area where you can sit and eat just fyi. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a chicken sandwich spot. There's other stuff on the menu that I would like to try so I'll definitely be back.

Food quality was superb. Portions were generous. Unfortunately I'm just not a fan of their sauce. The service was good polite and knowledgeable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store was clean and well lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The service was so slow and it took really long to get our food. The food is overhyped and it wasn't actually that good.

I decided to pick up the Beast Style Burger combo with unseasoned fries and a Chris Style burger. The burgers are available with two patties, three patties, or more. The patties are thin and browned perfectly, just the way I like them. I chose the double patty with bacon and lettuce and the sandwich was good. The bread was soft and chewy, I think toasting the bun would've made it much better but I didn't taste that they do that. The burger is topped with ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, onions, and American cheese. I would have preferred to have left the mayo off but the option wasn't available and they don't allow for special orders. Still, the burger was very good. The seasoning they use takes a little of getting use to but it makes the flavor unique. It says the seasoning is spicy red pepper, garlic, paprika, sugar, and a hint of lime. Better than your average fast food burger and I would put it in the league of a restaurant burger. Five Guys is my go to fast food burger and I might prefer this burger to them. The Chris style burger isn't terribly unique, it puts fries on top of the patty but you don't really notice it. Fries are crinkle cut which is not a cut I'm terribly fond of but these fries are good despite being crinkle cut. They're similar to the kind you get from Chickie's and Pete's but they're not overcooked like at that establishment. They offer something called Beast Style fries which are cheese fries topped with caramelized onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo which did not appeal to me at all. If they offered regular old cheese fries, I would have picked that up in a heartbeat. MrBeast Burger is good but I think it could be better. They offer a patty melt burger I would love to try if I had the option to not have caramelized onions and add a second patty to it.

The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.
