These photos on here can't be from the Okmulgee store. These positive reviews must've been left by the owner and their friends. So here's an honest review. We stopped at the DQ in Okmulgee, on our way back home. We knew what we liked from our many DQ experiences before and figured this was a sure bet. We were disappointed to find that this store is a DQ only for desserts. The food menu (burgers, fries, chicken baskets) is just a local burger stand. No jalitos, no Hunger Busters, no taco baskets. No DQ franchise menu. If you search them on FB you can see what the menu looks like. Our chicken baskets looked like battered cod fillets from Long John Silvers. The burger wasn't much better. We finished our meals and left. Generally, when you're traveling you feel like that any stop at a chain store is going to have consistent quality and menu offerings. If I want to be adventurous (we usually are) then we'll stop at a locally-owned burger joint. This time we were wanting consistency and ended up with adventure - a poor adventure. My recommendation is the Okmulgee store's franchise be pulled. If they're not going to serve the full DQ menu, then they're not a DQ at all. read more

I went on lunch break Sunday to order a grilled chicken salad and a Dr Pepper. I got to the window paid and immediately after I paid she asked me to pull up so I pulled up while I was on the phone with my friend who is directly behind me. The lady came out and asked me to pull up further because they were needing to pull my friend who was also ordering a salad up so I pull out more and I guess she was telling somebody else I don't know why the fuck she ain't moving up? Fully admitting to giving a 5 star review based on the quality of a mini Reese's peanut butter cup blizzard. But this is an old school DQ with old school offerings and old school methods of making your treat. As a result it was delicious, the staff were amazing and homey, and I would drive this route again just to stop here. Don't expect it to be super fast. All the good reviews must be from people that did drive through... it is disgusting inside. Walked in and stood at the front counter and no one said anything to me, despite it being super slow and everyone standing around talking. I took the time to look in the back kitchen and it was FILTHY. Black gunk all on the floor, the vents were covered. That's just what was visible while I stood by the counter. The health inspector for sure needs to come back. I left without ordering (because no one ever greeted me, and it was so gross) but got my phone and went back in to take this one quick picture. My wife and I went to grab dinner since we were in the area. We went through the drive thru to save on time. However, that was not the case. The drive they menu was unorganized, confusing, and very hard to communicate with the employee working the drive thru. We had to repeat our order three times. Unfortunately it was still incorrect but we're trying to be understanding. We were asked to pull up to wait for our order. I ordered a double burger with fries and my wife ordered a 2 piece chicken strip kids meal. After waiting over 15 minutes we received our food. I was expecting my burger to taste amazing due to the way it was packaged, but it didn't hit the spot. The burger was supposed to have mustard and I could barely see it. Overall not a terrible burger but didn't hit the spot. My wife however said the chicken was good. Overall, if you are in a hurry, just stop next door at arby's to save you some time and hassle of a unorganized menu. read more

Ordered a hot dog with chili and some fries and definitely not fresh. The hot dog was cut in half and stuck in the microwave. I mean if I wanted food from the microwave I would've gotten a frozen dinner out or maybe heated some leftovers up. I've only stopped in here once and went into the drive through. My experience overall was okay. There was no line in front of me so I expected to get my order out quick. I had a large orange Julius (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE) an order of onion rings and a fish sandwich (don't judge me, I know it's an odd combo). The lady who took my order and greeted me at the only window was very friendly. Customer service is a huge thing for me. My food and drink though took like 10 minutes at least. Maybe longer. The prices are okay, the service here was good and my orange Julius his the spot, but the wait time keeps me from being able to do more than 3 stars. This is a small town DQ so there is to be some short fall expected I suppose. I'd stop here again travelling down highway 75 though. read more

Horrible!! My husband & I ordered tw cheeseburgers - I guess you have to specify you want meat on your burger! Both sandwiches had NO meat! Really good food, and nice workers. We had a good time with friends and family. The only knock would be that hey forgot my order, and didn't cook it. I had to go up to the front lien and ask if they were cooking it. They got it out to me in 5 minutes (15 minute wait on top of that), and then gave me a free dessert.
