If I could give it negative stars, I would! Service sucked & the food was worse. Beef was grey & barely there. Bun was at least a month past it's prime. Next time I'll keep driving. #roadtrip

We stop here pretty regularly since it's convenient off the interstate. The tables could have used a wipe down the benches too but it wasn't too bad. They have a nice outdoor court yard eating area with lots of shade. We first ordered two of the new spicy tender meals, they were really good and the chicken was very hot. The quality was decent. I had one strip that wasn't so great but I was happy with them spice level. After we ate our meals we went back up to order a blizzard. The lady who took our order both times seemed friendly enough at first but we noticed she had made a mistake with an older gentleman's order ahead of us. We didn't have any order issues with our food. However when we went back for the cream I asked her what ingredients were in a tropical and Hawaiian blizzard. Her response to me was "I have no idea I don't eat those things" I'm like ohh kay...so she asks another lady who also has no idea...but in her defense it was only her second day I think she said. They ask a third person who finally tells them. I'm like geez forget it just give me an M&M blizzard with extra chocolate please. She then proceeds to ask me what do I mean by chocolate because she wants to get my order correct and she doesn't eat this stuff she says again. She says do I want chocolate m&ms or what kind of chocolate. I ask what she means by chocolate M&Ms, I just want regular ones with extra chocolate that it's already made with.. the chocolate syrup. I do have to say though...The guy making the blizzards did an awesome job! It was perfectly mixed and delicious, it wasn't messy, it didn't have to much or too little. We will be back but that was ridiculous. I don't care what you do or don't eat, but I do expect that you are educated about the product that you are selling or at least be courteous while you find out.

Stopping in for some ice cream at the Ozona, Texas Dairy Queen. First thing that I noticed was the royal pride award for having outstanding level of cleanliness and food safety, which is one of my things! The restaurant was fairly busy for this late in the evening. The drive-through had a line, but the team was working quickly to keep everyone moving. We happen to come inside and were greeted very pleasantly. Our server at the counter did a nice job. She was apparently new and still trying to figure out some of the codes in the computer. We received our food with a nice presentation and very quickly. We were able to enjoy our desserts in the outside seating area during a very pleasant evening. Recommend this location if you're looking for some fast food, or just an old fashion, dairy cream, dessert!

I was in search for a place that had restrooms as I was still in route to my destination. I ended up at Dairy Queen in Ozona, TX. I was also pretty hungry at the time. Got myself a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with no sauce. Chicken was good, but I didn't care for the loose lettuce. It's like you taking a bite and lettuce is falling off onto your lap LOL. I prefer the whole leafy type for a better eating experience. I asked for no sauce and I got sauce... oh well. I also really wanted to get their ice cream shake, too, but since I was still driving a long distance, I didn't get it because I didn't want to have any stomach troubles along the way. Staff was nice and pleasant. Prices were okay. Restaurant was clean. They also had a frig with cakes and stuff. Now that I think about it, I don't recall going into a DQ restaurant in CA ever except in a mall... I'll have to find one to visit one of these days (you know I will LOL). Happy DQ'ing!

It was a Sunday and DQ was one of a few places open so there were not a lot of choices in Ozona. The country chicken strip baskets with gravy were the only thing that redeemed this place. But other than that there were flies flying around and dead in window sills hanging out while you eat. DQ should invest in an exterminator. I realize the place was busy, but there were a total of five drive thru and front counter employees and one of them should've cleaned the disgusting bathrooms.

The tables are dirty, no one wears a mask. Avoid this DQ unless you want COVID. Social distancing is not enforced.

It's so rare to find such a oasis in the sea of loneliness that is West Texas. Keep blitzing DQ. You're doing God's work.

The food was fresh and homemade, great salsa, the tortillas tasted freshly made had a nice toasty crisp from the comal texture amazing so if you haven't tried this place what are you waiting for I guarantee you won't be disappointed, oh and they make a fresh tres leches cake that was one of the best we've ever had so come give them a try or if your driving thru stop in and try them

This one is a solid 3.8, with potential for more…read more I let Liz pick lunch in Ozona, and on a Sunday afternoon, she picked a very unassuming Destiny's Grill. Though small and quiet, this little grill puts out really good food. My daughter kept it simple with a dry cheeseburger. It comes with a side of fries that are cooked fresh, but maybe needed some time to breathe or dash a little bit of salt. The burger was cooked really well though. Noah enjoyed his carne asada tacos. Liz ordered the Potosino nachos, which were like a loaded nachos. Loaded means it came with beans, grill d tomato and jalapeno, thin slices of skirt steak, and cheese. It looked good, and I grabbed a few at the begining. I really enjoyed my Potosino plate. It was the same thing slices of skirt steak, grilled onion, jalapeno, and tomato that was on the nachos, but my plate came with Spanish and refried beans. (Same as Noah's kid taco plate). So, why the 3? It's a small place, and the dining area can be overwhelmed by a rush. Though the folks that knew were just getting food to go. There's about 7 tables/booths for 4 each, and it got crowded right after we sat down and ordered. Hey, if I can't get my coffee refilled without asking, well... Overall, I did enjoy the food. The place was clean and comfortable. It was the lack of speedy service was on no way a deal killer, but when you're on the EP to SA road trip time management can matter. Check it out if you're stopping in Ozona.
