My husband and I stopped by Daiso on a Wednesday evening. We've wanted to check out this new Daiso location in the Centennial Hills now for the past month! Daiso is located off of the 215/Durango exit. It's in a large shopping plaza next to Kohl's and Ulta Beauty. There is ample amount of parking spots available. Daiso is a Japanese store. It has a wide range of items from pet toys, home goods, kitchen supplies, Japanese snacks, drinks such as Calipcos, and much more! Throughout the store, you'll notice the price conversion from Yen to US Dollars. Everything in the store was really well organized and there was a lot of inventory! The team members at Daiso were quite helpful and friendly! The price wasn't expensive either for a lot of their merchandise. We had such a wonderful experience at this Daiso location! Checkout process was simple and seamless at Daiso.

This was my first ever visit to a Daiso in the states. First impressions: -Kind of small, but big enough to get my fix in -Missing some of the top tier snacks found in Japan. Mostly stocked with things easily accessible in the US. -Lots of containers and kitchen accessories, which was the purpose of this trip. What did rub me the wrong way was the price conversion. I understand import fees, taxes, etc etc. But the charts they display all over the store are completely inaccurate to the true conversions. They are robbing us, really. 200¥ is $1.34. But Daiso here charges $3.25. Still cheap but good grief. I understand the conversions are ever-changing, but maybe a 50¢ mark up would be enough, not $2. I think I'll keep my Daiso shopping overseas, as not to ruin the charm & the thrill of cheap goods. You may as well shop online imo.

Just bought these two liners to not have any tip or any way of accessing the rest. The employees seem young and incompetent of what to do in a situation like this other than to say sorry no refunds or exchanges

I didn't know what this store was. Was driving by and decided to stop in. Similar to a Dollar Tree type of store but with products you might not normally find anywhere else but online. Prices are low and displayed in Yen.

Good selections found in Japan. They have everything from decorative items to your everyday household needs, i.e. organizers, dispensers, containers, glass cleaning supplies, oven mittens, etc. They have a snack and drink section. Overall, great to walk through and find something you may need at home.

I've been waiting for a daiso to open here in Vegas, but specifically here in the northwest of town! So happy we have one in the neighborhood now. I was told by Candace (sp?) that they opened last Saturday. So it's been about a week. There's so many cute Japanese knickknacks, yummy snacks, drinks and Sanrio stuff, etc. and the prices vary. There's signs in each area to help you determine how much an item is. Customer service is awesome. The associates are more than welcome to answer questions you may have. My first time there, a male associate (didn't get his name) helped me with the self checkout as I didn't know how to use it. :/ I've been to the store 4x since they've opened. There's a self checkout line for customers paying with debit/credit and a separate line for cash payments. They charge 20 cents for bags for your purchased items, (I thought, only Cali does that?) so I brought my own during my 3rd and 4th visit. Lol As you can see from my visits, I'd definitely recommend checking them out! :) You'll find many interesting knickknacks, but I specifically come here for the Sanrio stuff and snacks. Lol

Does not work!!!! I have to drive 6 miles just to return it!!!!!

It's a specialty shop so expect prices to be a bit on the high side. But being a specialty seasonal store, you see more of what's available as compared to Target or Wal-mart. Hubby was taking our boy around to each animatronic display but he was reluctant because he didn't want to get scared. Haha, hee hee. I've noticed that most of the female costumes are really sexy, which is not the image I'd like to portray being a happily married woman with a young child. I also like to dress up at work but of course it has to be appropriate. Capes are the easy way to go (right side), with pricing starting at $12.99, but, if you want to get the deluxe version, it costs a little bit more. In the back middle of the store are accessories like: every type of wig, belts/chains, fake facial hair, hats, masks, etc. On the left front side are the kids costumes but there's more of a broader selection for girls, compared to the boys. The traditional nun costume was $19.99, I think. Check out my pics too.

The Manager Mat is the most disrespectful unprofessional manager I have ever seen in my life. Mat had the audacity to speak to my 8 year old child and slander me in front of him! Mat said to my son " I'm so sorry you have such a horrible f'**ked up mother" all because I wanted them to replace an item that broke within 10 min of leaving the store. I am absolutely reporting this to the higher ups. After the manager Mat slandered me in front of my child. I got upset and then was surround by 7/8 other extremely immature workers who were yelling getting in my face and screaming at me in front of my Child. This is no place to go to!! Everyone involved needs to be fired !!!! There is a way to handle customers and slandering them and yelling in their face is NOT it!

It's not as big as a standalone Sephora, but they still carry a solid variety of popular products... enough to grab your essentials or try something new without making another stop. Customer service was great all around. Employees were friendly, helpful, and everything moved quickly at checkout. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop, which always makes a difference. What a steal. Kyle at the Counter was really nice. Also had the self-checkouts there. Dressing room in Mens, no stool or bench in there. Grumpy woman tending to the dressing room. Just adding to our belief that if you do not like people, do not get a job in customer service. You are just spreading negativity. Sorry, just being real. The store was clean. The clearance shoes/ womens was a tight squeeze. Very very narrow. At least the area was organized. We have visited a few other times and this store has a good amount of red star clearance.

One of the aisles was mostly blocked while an employee was stocking shelves and talking with another employee. I politely said "excuse me" before passing through, and the employee immediately seemed upset and told me "what's your problem, just go around" because she was working. I responded that we were shopping, and the interaction escalated from there. What bothered me most was being called "entitled" in front of my child. The situation became uncomfortable enough that we left the store without purchasing anything, and my daughter was very disappointed. I later found out the employee involved was the store manager, named DAL which honestly made the experience even more disappointing. I understand retail can be stressful, but professionalism and basic respect toward customers should still matter.
