My daughter had received a $40 gift card for her birthday and was so excited to pick out a few special items. Unfortunately, when we got to the register, the gift card wouldn't work. After trying multiple registers and different solutions, it still couldn't be redeemed. My daughter was heartbroken because she thought she would have to leave without the birthday gifts she had carefully chosen. The manager saw how disappointed she was and, without hesitation, paid for every single item herself out of her own pocket and simply handed them to my daughter. We were completely speechless. In a world where exceptional customer service can be hard to find, her compassion, generosity, and genuine kindness stood out in the most beautiful way. She didn't just solve a problem, she turned what could have been a disappointing birthday memory into one we'll never forget. Please recognize her for going so far above and beyond. They have a beautiful mirror to use and cute little dressing rooms to try stuff on, which is perfect. The girl that works the register is very sweet. I asked her how it works and she was very kind to explain. You read the sign just above the clothes. They will state the sizes and any other info. Each little closet area is owned by a different person so that's why all the clothes are not sectioned by size. This is definitely a fun shop to visit for a fun thrifting afternoon. The parking lot is good size so I was able to find a spot. Though it is kinda busy. There are quite a few other shops and restaurants. It is situated back on the bottom floor of the shopping mall. My son is a larger young man, and during our visit an employee said directly to me, "Oh yes, your son is the big man in the dressing room." I am very grateful that my son did not hear the comment. I understand that no offense may have been intended, but remarks about a person's size are inappropriate, especially in a setting where members are preparing to make sacred covenants. Members of every body shape and size wear temple garments and temple clothing. No one should feel singled out, labeled, or made self-conscious because of their body. I would also encourage greater attention to the availability of larger sizes. Accessing temple garments and clothing should be a simple and welcoming experience for every member. These items are sacred necessities, not optional purchases, and members should be able to obtain them with dignity and respect. I share this feedback because I believe the Church strives to make everyone feel welcome. I hope this experience can serve as a reminder that words matter and that all members, regardless of size, deserve kindness, sensitivity, and respect as they prepare for temple worship.
