Quite the interesting trip. I went to this daiso in hope of finding oshikatsu stuff, but could not find much sadly. Other than that, it is quite the nice location. The fan provides lots of air, and the oshikatsu stuff I got pleases me to an average amount. I hope to come here again, and explore the store more. Though I do have a negative thing, not quite a big deal. While me and my father were in the section with the cases and the card decors, one of them exploded. Yes ; exploded. I always have fun shopping at Daiso. From tableware to toys to character goods to food, and more- there's a little of everything. I was greeted half heartedly by an employee as I walked in. I remember from a previous visit that the employees aren't necessarily friendly. Employees were busy stocking and straightening but they don't acknowledge customers. The store really is organized well with good signage. The Price Guides are throughout the store since the products use a yen price. If there is no price it is $2.25. I was looking for stocking stuffers and found some cool candy and beauty products. Also grabbed a couple random household items. I did have a question and asked an employee and she was helpful but again, they don't go out of their way. It doesn't really bother me, just an observation. When it was time to pay, there was no one in the area but they do have self checkout so I did that. You have to pay for bags, which I forgot and I have several in my car; so I just carried my items out. There is lots of parking, even with several stores and restaurants around. read more

5 Stars for the local Hawaii guy who chatted it up with me. The store is clean and great selection of items. They have self checkout which is nice. The negative was when the scanner scanned an item twice, I looked around for someone to delete the item but no one was around I walked a few aisles and didn't see anyone. I then jumped on the other register and started scanning everything again. Someone finally came but I was already done scanning my items and was paying. read more

I've never been to this store before and it's my first time actually visiting Daiso. They're located on Flamingo and Maryland, near Seafood City. Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Kayla. She kindly mentioned that this store is their sixth location in Las Vegas. The store is clean and has a nice layout, I'm very pleased with the setup. They have everything from kitchenware, fantastic organizers, key chains, art and school supplies, stickers, and great snacks. I found a nice organizer bag, purchased a handy cushioned case and a sketchbook to take with me during travel. There's many useful things at this store and the price is reasonable. read more

It's great for stationery items. I bought a bunch of "accessories" here to jazz up my wedding save the dates. So far I've gotten compliments for the envelope decorations. read more

While we have shopped numerous times at other Daiso's in the area this was our first and will be our last time at this location. We stopped in to ask a question about a product we had purchased at another location, we knew the likely answer to our question but wanted to be sure. At the end of the day it was an incidental issue, $1.25 for the product but without a doubt this was the rudest, most obnoxious and condescending staff we have ever encountered, they staff treated us like we stole the product and then ordered out of the store. We have never experienced this level of poor customer service at any of the other locations. A sad representation of what has otherwise been amazing experiences at other stores and while I know they won't lose any sleep over it we won't be back. read more

Went here with a friend and when checking out a lady rushes annoyed as heck to the self scan section in the front and interrupts a conversation with my friend while we're looking at objects behind us and discussing. Just when I was about to start scanning she gives me attitude and tells me to start scanning. I accidentally double scan because this lady is watching us like a hawk and when I'm done scanning she's even more annoyed that she has to fix something. Like I didn't do anything to you, we weren't stealing and all I was scanning were 3 stickers. read more

Bought a drink marked $5.25 but when I checked my receipt rang up at $6.00 went back into store and wasn't more than 3 minutes since purchase. The employees a young girl and a mid age black male wouldn't refund me the price difference even after I showed them the price sticker. At first the male said it was for the same brand but different flavor till he scanned it and it also rang up for $6.00, he them makes some excuse that they had a lot of price changes. I told him that no fault and not an excuse. The girl said all sales are final and no refunds. I'm going to report them to the BBB and see how they like that. Poor or actually no customer service. Although I wasn't impressed with what they had, it definitely is a 99cent store Japanese version aimed at kitchenware items. Daiso regional manager or higher ups thought putting it next to Seafood city would have Filipinos flocking. Please tell me this decision maker isn't white. Shii I'll even snatch you from your corporate job. The store is struggling and absent even when Seafood City Market is booming. Foolish move but I rep all things Japanese hence the 5 stars. read more
