Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... My sister and I were showing my niece some shopping tips... like getting a case of water in places where the water doesn't taste as good as Hawaiian water. We thought that Dollar Tree would have bottled water, but they didn't have cases of 16 ounce bottles. Shucks. We did browse through th aisles and I saw my favorite items such as artificial flowers, greeting cards, Easter merchandise, and personal care supplies. I've always loved shopping at Dollar Tree. It used to be my go to for quick party supplies, school stuff, random household finds, and little seasonal decor. You can't beat the convenience and the treasure hunt vibe. But ever since the 99 store closed down, I've noticed the prices creeping up. Not everything is $1.25 anymore, and that kind of takes away from the original appeal. I understand costs go up, but part of the charm was knowing everything was the same low price. This was only the second time me and Mom have been to this location and it has never disappointed us! It has way better stuff than the other locations we tend to visit. It is very peaceful to shop in and the store is very clean. We were able to get things we thought we would never find in a Dollar Tree. This is way out of our location, as we live in Henderson, but we both agreed that we will make the trip just to get the experience we get here. They have home decor and organizational items that the other locations do not have, amazing candles at awesome prices that we have never seen at any other location, and everything we expect to find at a Dollar Tree. When you're ballin on a budget like me and have a toddler that always wants toys, this place is ideal. Staff is friendly. Aisles are clean and organized. I noticed my arms and elbows were ashy. Grabbed some cocoa butter lotion and was on my way. Took a look at my son's fingernails so I grabbed nail clippers! I was in and out in a flash. Went here and bought a few items I needed and the cashier a young black male maybe in his 20s didn't even speak and tell me my total just scanned and I wasn't sure if he was done or not he just kept bobbing his head to the music with his AirPods on and no uniform and once I realized he was done scanning I just paid and put my card in. 3 stars for convenience and depending on the day/time you visit it can be super hit or miss. Sometimes they have amazing seasonal items stocked while other times shelves can be a bit "bare". This dollar tree doesn't have the best inventory, but that's the least of their problems. The customer service is awful, and I've experienced this on multiple occasions. My last visit, there were 2 ladies ahead of me purchasing glass items. The cashier placed them all together in a plastic bag and when the customer picked it up the glasses were all clanking together. She asked the cashier if he could wrap them and he said no I don't have paper. She then proceeded to ask if there was something else they could use to wrap and he suggested additional plastic bags, she agreed, and he handed her the plastic bags. She looked at him and said can you do it for me? He said no I have more customers to check out and pointed to me. I said you can go ahead and finish helping her first. So now he's slowly wrapping her glassware in plastic, another worker comes, they exchange some words. Then the cashier proceeds to check me out and I pay all while the first 2 customers are still getting their stuff in order and still standing right next to the paying station, so I finish paying, and then I'm standing behind these women also waiting to leave. And the cashier is looking down at the register while watching adult cartoons on his phone. Uncomfortable experience. read more

This location always has shelves full of goodies. I've found some great little treasures, especially when I'm on a budget. So for the product and the pricing, you can't go wrong with this Dollar Tree. Now as far as the customer service goes, don't expect much. I don't think I've came across even one smiling or enthusiastic employee on any of my visits to this store. Nearly all of them look miserable. Only mess with this dollar tree because this is the closest one to my house and on top of that petco is next door when I do my pet supply run. So usually after doing that errand I go into dollar tree and buy me a snack of either gummy bears or something sweet on my way home. I also get my birthday cards or anything cheap if I need to. What's there to really say? It's a Dollar Tree. Everything in the store costs $1. The quality at Dollar Tree is much better than our local 99 Cents Only store, but the two stores carry different merchandise which makes it fun to shop around! Dollar Tree seems to pride itself on the fact that they cater to a more 'upscale' clientele. I go here mainly to buy cheap greeting cards. They have cards that are 2 for $1, making it an easy and cheap way to send cheer in the mail (people throw out cards anyway so why pay Hallmark prices)? I've also found some good deals on household cleaning products and name brand health and beauty items. This store has recently put in a frozen food section at the back of the store. Be sure to check out the refrigerated cases because the food selection changes. Most of it is junk or questionable "brands" but sometimes you can find a total score (I once got a full size box of real Steak-Ums for $1 and they sell for $6 at Albertsons). Not everything is a good deal so make sure you know your brands and prices. Lots of the stuff for sale is junk that is manufactured specifically for the Dollar Tree (look on the label for the "Greenbriar" brand, that's their house label). This Dollar Tree would get a higher rating from me if it weren't for one major issue -- the checkout lines are always ridiculously, crazy long! It sometimes takes as long as 45 minutes just to check out (lord help you if you go on a Friday afternoon after payday, you'll be in the line 'til next Christmas)! They rarely have more than one lane open even when the line snakes all the way to the back of the store and there are plenty of employees stocking the shelves. This drives me bonkers and on more than one occasion, I have walked in the door and then immediately turned around and left because the checkout line was so long (with ONE person working ONE register). It's a good dollar store with wide, clean aisles and of course great prices. read more

The guy restocking was super rude when i asked if they still sold and blew up hellium ballons. When i asked the guy who was in charge of the balloons he had alot of smart ass remarks. I simply just needed to know where to go and what they needed me to do in order for them to help me. I asked him if i was suppose to bring anything to the register and his response was "i dont know were you". But this wasnt in a friendly manner or joking. I dont know if they hate their jobs or simply was having a bad day but your job is to help people in the store you work at. Not to give sarcastic remarks and be rude. If you dont like where youre at then find something else. You never know what that person may be going through. And i hope for the two gentlemen that helped me today that day got better and you treat people who give you respect the same. We have come to this location many times to get a few things we use and always bought like 10 of them to make sure we always had them When we ran out we would go back to get more and stock up again. Not too happy going here anymore they no longer stock the items we would go and get. They told us to go on line and we could place a order and we never found them on line and the employees never seem to know anything on what is ordered or coming in. I just can not believe we have to go on line to order and they can not say they will check into it or order it for us, Its a shame when you get use to going and buying things you need then have to find someplace else to go. I know it is only a Dollar Tree and items are only a $1.00 but that's why we liked getting them here. This is my local DT store so I visit it often. I usually go earlier in the day, closer to when they just open and never have any issues. There can sometimes be a little like but it moves pretty quick. I went in today on a Sunday morning for a few items for a get together I was throwing and I asked if they could blow up some balloons if I came back in a few hours. I was being checked out by Lynn who was so nice and immediately said "yes, no problem." Honestly I was ready to hear no because they were pretty busy. Lynn was so friendly and quick checking everyone out. I came back a few hours later to pick up the balloons and was greeted again by a friendly Lynn and one of the managers. I was at this location today store had great selection of items like always but was horribly disappointed by employees "Bk" didn't even acknowledge me while I approached the register to pay for she was too busy gossiping with 2 other employees about her not getting her 75cent raise and complaining about how little she made and how she hated her "bish ass manager" I was appalled by such language at the point of leaving she never even said bye or thanks I simply just walked out in shock but how unprofessional they had been ... It's a tense time to be shopping, but BK (receipt says Barbara) on register not only made conversation and was very friendly, but also accommodated us to get a cart we could take out to our car since the ones in the store are theft-deterrent and cannot leave. She and everyone else working during this pandemic deserves another raise on top of the hazard pay they're getting! I was behind a lady in a light green shirt. I couldn't see her shirt so I asked her if she worked there. She looked disgusted and said duh. I then asked her if they had a restroom there. I've been to other dollar trees in the past and they've had a restroom available. I'm pregnant and I had to go so bad. She was so rude that before I even finished my question she cut me off and she said that the bathrooms were closed for the public. She has so much attitude. Woman, if you hate your job so much, find another job. It's the dollar store. I get it. It's all cheap shit. But don't forget, all the cheap shit we buy pays for your paycheck. For a Dollar Tree store, I think this one of the nicest. It's clean, well organized, and always fully stocked. This location also carries fresh produce and frozen section. I come here mainly for the dog treats and the chewing items. Never disappointed of the selections and availability. read more

I'll be honest. It's so convenient, and I absolutely love that everything in there is inexpensive, but the customer service isn't so great. I've been going there for quite some time, and I haven't had any problems. The younger staffers are more than willing to help out in any way. Only my last visit there had me upset. Never once was I told that I had to call in advance to set or get a certain amount of balloons. The older women with glasses literally scolded me. I was waiting to be helped after 5 minuets by the balloon area, and she then tells me I needed to stand in line. Only then when I finally got there... she tells me that I was supposed to call or leave my ORDER on a piece of paper... ALL WITH ATTITUDE... and claimed it was "policy" Yet, the funny thing is that I've come numerous times where I was never told, and the clerks were more than willing to give me a hand! This is your typical dollar store. This one is pretty large, has a good selection and seems to have plenty of stock of the items I need. People think that it's the dollar store so instantly it's a good deal, but you really have to watch on some of the food items...it can often not be the best deal. I come here a lot to buy items for my Arbonne business - plastic tubs for foot soak at my spa parties, marbles, cheap wash clothes, little hand towels, spa/bath give aways like loofah, sponges and scrubbers. I don't feel so bad when I loose them or have to toss stuff when it was cheap to begin with. Ok. Here is another store in the same plaza as Payless Shoesource that is ok some what. They have snacks such as shasta sodas and little variety of sweets, but when I need something like for work, I can never find things in this store.
