I was surprised with how big it was inside. They have a lot more stuff than other Daiso's I've been to. I was looking for a wall clock and couldn't find it because there were so many things there. I went up to the register and asked if they could just point to the direction of their clocks and she just walked me there. The prices were also marked clearly on the items with the yen to dollar conversion sheet near by. Other Daiso's does not clearly display them. Over all it was great. We were celebrating my youngest daughter's Class of 2025 high school graduation at The Noodle in Rowland Heights. I bought an Uncle Tetsu Basque Cheesecake. I forgot to bring the knife, plates, and forks. Yikes! What do I do? Daiso to the rescue! It is right across the way from The Noodle within the same Canyon Point Marketplace. I walked in and WOW was my first thought. What a huge and bright Daiso! It was almost like I can see the entire store in one look. It had a very open layout feel to it. Cool! I was in a hurry. Rather than walking through the aisles to find my 3 things, I asked the nice young lady staff member to help me. She led me to the applicable aisles. Thank you miss! They didn't have plates which I found odd. Maybe they ran out. No biggie. I got small bowls instead. Hey, we got to know how to improvise! I gathered all that I needed and also picked up 3 bags of shrimp chips. They always put items along the way to the registers and/or in front of the customer to entice them to buy. They got me LOL. This is the Daiso that we often go to, and it's in Rowland Heights, located on Colima and Fairway inside of the 168 Market. This Daiso is always busy with many customers. It has everything like the other Daiso that you could think of, from crafts to holiday stuff, make-up and beauty stuff, stationaries, decor, gardening, and household stuff, etc. My older daughter likes this Daiso because it has lots of varieties, and it's organized and clean. We always buy a lot of stuff from Daiso. Most items are $1.75, but they also have some special items that cost a few dollars more. They now have one self check-out machine, so it saves us some time waiting for the cashier. read more

I love shopping at Daiso and this one was well stocked with a bigger variety of items than at my local Daiso. That made it quite easy to pick up some fun items at an inexpensive price. One of my very first DAISOs I have visited for the longest time. They have a really good selection of $1.75 on most items from really cute stationery, household goods, storage containers for crafts and home use, to a small section for Japanese snacks and drinks. This location has a good variety of everything. It's also located within a bigger plaza with a supermarket across the way, a ramen restaurant, the famous Taiwanese bakeries, and everything in between. Like all DAISO locations, all purchases are FINAL here! So, make sure you really want an item before purchasing, or else you're out of $1.75+. There's never a day where I forego going into a Daiso. The perfect place to go after a big meal to walk off all the food. Also, I feel like I never come out of a Daiso empty-handed! Mostly everything inside is priced around $1.27 and it's pretty hard to find more expensive stuff inside a Daiso. There should be more employees working the front cashier though. This is what I call the "Japanese 99 cents store" ! Most items here used to be $1.50 now it's $1.75. But some special items are marked up few dollars more. Store is very well organized and shelves are stocked up very neatly. The spacious aisle in each sections gives you enough ample space for browsing and shopping. A lot of novelty items can be purchased in here for gifts or personal use. All sales are final , no return or exchange. Upon visiting them earlier today on Sunday, Jan/8/23, they improved!!!! Or at least this Rowland Heights branch did by providing a small section of $1 section now i happened to need some of these paper boxes for packaging my Organic/Natural Soap Bars!!!! I bought some notebooks and mechanic pencil leads too from this $1 section for new job. Already own too many mechanical pencils at home, so I didn't need those today. I also bought some other items for packaging my Soap Bars. I'll be back again now that they do offer $1 section!!!! W2G, Daiso of Rowland Heights. Daiso Japan is one of those thrift discount stores that sell almost anything you would need in your home for a very reasonable price. Depending on the item it could range in price but they are all labeled very well. Plenty of free parking in this Rowland Heights location and my favorite items to get are their Hello Kitty and also Disney Collections. I have bought plenty of kitchen items that are still with me today and have lasted me years so honestly, this place is a deal! The isles are bright and organized into different sections. Stationary, beauty, kitchen, plates, garden, and many more. Sometimes you just never know what you will find and that's what I also like about Daiso, they change things up. I believe the store hours are changing due to Covid so maybe give them a call just to ask for their store hours. read more

I'd opt to go to this Daiso over the one in Hacienda Heights. Definitely bigger and much more of a selection. Unfortunately, like many of the Daiso's in SoCal, there's much more Americanized products than the useful, cute Japanese ones. Additionally, each time I've been to this location, not all the shelves are stocked, I've been told that the lash glue and other cosmetic products I've been searching for for over half a year are never in stock, and there is always a super long line at this location. read more

I have been to many Daiso locations, and this one is particularly spacious and clean. I love that Daiso is a great place to get household items and Japanese snacks and goods for a deal in general. So much better than going to most dollar stores. There are signs on most aisles that tell you the price conversions from Japanese Yen to U.S. dollars. Most items are $1.50, but some are $2 or $3. The cashiers here were so extra cautious, sanitizing between each customer. People were good about masks and social distancing, even while waiting in line. I picked up a variety of items, some of which included Calpico, Ramune, and cute bowls for my kitchen. read more

Shame on the Store Manager and Daiso Corporation. I purchased 6 pcs of baking cups for my wife. The size was incorrect. I returned to the store in 5 days with receipt and product in brand new condition/UPC sticker all untouched. The Store manager would not even talk to me simply refusing to replace or refund or even take a look a the merchandise. I have searched online; many Daiso store in US will provide refund or exchange in 7 days. I tried to get the store manager's name (a she), she refuse to give her employee ID or name for me to work with the credit card company. If she did not do anything wrong and have nothing to hide, why not give her contact for the credit card company for case investigation. This is a shame for Daiso having store manager who does not even care about its customer or put an effort to communicate. I will be filling a case with DAISO US and Japan HQ, BBB, FTC along with my credit card company. I feel pity for Daiso to hired low quality service store manager like this. We will see if Daiso indeed cares about its customers or not soon as I will be contacting DAISO HQ in JP right away. First time this Daiso location, the store is very big and clean. They have mostly everything in stock and I was able to find eveyrthing I was looking for. Just has trouble finding the things because it was my first time and this Daiso is huge! Deals and prices are still the same, at $1.50. However, there are certain items that can range from $2 to $4+, for examples the snacks and the dining items like ceramic bowls. Still a good deal to me and the quality isn't bad. You can also find a lot of the home necesseties at Daiso. Just don't expect too much for the price you pay for. Overall, it is a great place to shop household items. read more

First time ever writing a bad review. So, I went to buy some organize boxes, saw there was one bag that already opened and it was the very first one. So I thought that was the display sample let you check out this item since it's already opened. Yet when I take it out, there was a caucasian male employee came to me said "you can't open it." I mean I understand that telling customers don't open the bags. So I explained, " oh, I didn't open it, it's already opened so I thought I can see what's inside." What's happened next makes me extremely uncomfortable! HIS ATTITUDE! I didn't saw any label that says don't open it or don't take the product out, so I didn't know! Usually when this kind thing happens what you should do is explain to your customer with respectful attitude! But not say " I SAW YOU TAKE IT OUT! ITS NOT HELPING WHEN YOUS SAY ITS ALREDY OPENED!" ??????????????? I mean I didn't know I can't take it out! Why are you sounds like accusing me ? This has got to be the nicest, most organized, and spacious Daiso I've visited. I have the same feeling of excitement every time I would walk into a Sanrio when I was younger as I do each and every single time I walk into a Daiso! Everything is sooo cute! I go in looking for something specific, but come out carrying a bundle of things! They have everything you need, at an inexpensive cost, while also being super unique and cute! My mom loves their kitchen sponge (it's almost like a cloth), but we weren't able to find any at the Arcadia locations. As soon as I spotted them here, I grabbed 6 of them! This was my first time at this Daiso, and it very well may be my go to one from now on. The staff here is actually even friendlier than other ones I've been to. I love this new store! The place is huge and seems to have a lot of variety in the merchandise. I came into the store 15-minutes before closing. And like other Daiso stores, they and the guests out of the store. Announcements regarding the store closing started at 8:50 on the dot! Then 8:55! The 9:00, the store is closed! Whew, got to the register when they made that announcement. I love the eclectic variety of merchandise they have, with most of the merchandise priced at $1.50. Anything above that price is properly labeled. Since I only had 15-minutes to shop, I wasn't able to check out the entire store at a leisurely pace. This store is definitely a lot larger than the other locations I've shopped at. I found a couple items that I know that will be useful! I will be back at this location very soon, especially way before closing time so I can shop at a slower pace. read more

I've been to this specific Daiso multiple times, but never got around to leaving a review until now. This location is located in the large shopping plaza where you can find Yogurtland, Happy Wok, Subway, just to name a few. What's really nice about Daiso is that they really do have quality products for cheap! You'll find an assortment of items varying from kitchenware to gardening, from beauty to cleaning supplies. The employees are nice and polite. On this day, however, they seemed pretty overwhelmed with the amount of people standing in line waiting to purchase their items. It would make sense to have more cashiers in the front to make the line go smoother. read more

This is my go to Daiso location because it is fairly close to my house. I appreciate this place because it does have a lot of good items for $1.50 (pretty much a Japanese dollar store). With that being said, the quality of most products are not the best. So beware what you buy, and the store policy is all sales are final! You should probably stay away from items like their glassware, and other pretty decorations than can easily crack or simply not last. I personally buy disposable holiday decorations, small stationary, and some Japanese face masks- things that I know won't disappoint me for only $1.50. Needless to say, there was a crack on the bottom. We brought it back this morning and was told, you are out of luck and they just plainly stated, all sales final... What's not to like? A dollar fifty store with super cute products and way better quality than your run of the mill Dollar Tree and 99 cent store. Do yourself a favor and do a lap first, then double back for things you actually need, bc you WILL want everything in there. I was pleasantly surprised to find out a Daiso location had opened up near Kopan Ramen. A part of this Daiso location, plus the empty location next door, in between Daiso and 168 Market, used to be one huge furniture store but I guess that they divvied it up into 2 stores. The 168 Market also used to be an Albertsons. This Daiso location feels a bit bigger than the Hacienda Heights location but am not 100% sure. This location carries a few items that the HH location does not so one might need to head to more than 1 if they can't find a certain item but swear that they do carry that item. The cost of the items at Daiso has gone up, from formally $1.00, now up to $1.50 and up per item. My love for Daiso came when I discovered them in Japan. Quality has gone down and prices have gone up but that is the economy. There are still numerous items that are worth to purchase here. All shelves are usually pretty organized throughout the store, easy to locate merchandise. A pretty clean location. All items purchased are final sale, no exchanges. Also there is a $10 minimum purchase for credit cards, other than that, one would need to use either cash or a debit card. Parking lot is a bit of a nightmare. Good luck! read more
