My eldest daughter and I were on our way to Torotea in Diamond Bar. I happened to turn my head to the right and saw See's Candies. It was our lucky day. I quickly turned into the parking lot to make a quick stop for my beloved See's chocolates. I'm a sucker for delicious OG chocolates LOL. It's located within the Towne Centre Village. Upon entry, I was greeted right away by a lovely young lady. No other customer was in here at the time. I asked if I could take some photos before placing my order. She kindly said sure. Thanks! I noticed See's has come up with some new chocolates and candy flavors. They are also partnering with other brands to offer a whole different realm of confectionery and plushies. They even have partnered with McConnell's Fine Ice Cream to offer 4 exclusive flavors that are sold at select grocery stores. Just so you know, the ice cream isn't sold at the See's shops at this time, but I don't see why they can't... they just need a freezer! Birthday/holiday cards are already here, why not ice cream?! Anyway, now I have to seek out the ice cream LOL. You know I will! I usually go for my favorites... dark scotchmallow, milk almond nougat, milk rum nougat, milk pecan buds, milk almond buds. Since it was warm that day and we were going to be out and about for a while, I minus-ed the almond ones this time around, but got the others. 6 pieces cost me a little bit over $10. Cost per pound has gone up and that's okay. You know what, I should buy the See's gift cards sold at Costco for a discount since I tend to stop by See's whenever I see one and I'm able to drop by. I'm on it! LOL It was a very quick visit. Super friendly staff. Quick service. Got my free sample caramel chew. My chosen chocolates were yummy as always. Thank you See's! This See's Candies location is located on the corner of Towne Centre Village in Diamond Bar. There's some parking available in the front. We visited here recently to check out some chocolates. We were greeted upon entry. As I was browsing, I was offered samples. They asked if I wanted milk or dark chocolate and if I wanted nuts or no nuts. I said milk chocolate without nuts. They gave me a sample of Milk Chocolate Buttercream which was absolutely delectable to which I ended up wanting to purchase some. The same employee asked my husband his preference of chocolate. Another employee then asked my husband was asked if he needed help finding anything. A few seconds later the same employee asked if I needed help finding anything. I thought it was interesting that we were asked separately if we needed assistance even though we came in together. The employee that was walking around asking if we needed assistance was friendly and informative. The employee behind the counter seemed a bit frazzled when I asked her questions but was informative. I ordered a bag of Milk Chocolate Buttercream chocolates. I was then told to wait in another line. While waiting in line, I saw an interaction between one cashier and another employee where they held a bag up in front of their face and whispered something to each other which the cashier responded with "I know." If you're going to talk about someone or something negative, probably not a good idea to do it in front of customers. Once the customer in front of me paid, the cashier apologized for the wait. They also asked if we were offered samples to which I said yes. The store itself is small and easy to navigate around. There's a selection of chocolate on the wall of the store including gift sets and boxed chocolates. The counter showcases the different types of chocolates that they have. There's also some chocolates in the center of the store as well as some greeting cards. Overall, great selection of chocolates. Service wasn't as friendly and courteous compared to the first visit we had about a year ago. Anyway, I'll still be back for another visit! read more

Patrice was very attentive to any questions that I had regarding my selection of chocolates; both she and Sam were able to address any questions that I had immediately and we're very very generous with the samples. They didn't rush me and perfectly tailored my box of chocolates. We visited 'See's Candies,' today on Wednesday, Dec/7/22 trying to stock up for the upcoming Holiday Season. So, we uncovered some awesome sales happening here at 'See's Candies,' Diamond Bar, branch. As soon as we walked in, a sales lady welcomed us in and offered some samples~I asked for the Dark Chocolate flavor....wow, that was way too sweet so should have not chowed down the entire piece out in one sitting! It's been awhile since we have been to a 'See's Candies,' shop because this visit is only for Holiday Season and for gifting purposes. I pleasantly found out they sold 'Coffee Bean,' tin box promoting 'Peets' Coffee,' brand! My lucky day! I got 2 of those tin boxes to try and gift a friend for the other. See's Candies is my favorite go-to place for fancy chocolate. I come here all the time and the ladies working there are so warm and welcoming. They would have small talks with you to get an idea of what you like. And if you come here often enough, they will recognize you and remember your favorite chocolate. They recommended a new box of chocolate for me to try and told me that if I don't end up liking it, I could come back and exchange it for my usual box. They still give out samples but they're all individually wrapped. They will drop them inside the bag when they ring your order up because they want to limit any eating inside the store and keep things sanitary. read more

SWEET SERVICE! We hopped off the freeway and stopped in here on our way home to watch the superbowl to get some chocolate for the special occasion. Gena welcomed us when we walked in and it felt like we were instantly friends. We stayed longer than i figured we would and we purchased more than I figured we would haha. I was in here for Valentine's Day. There are four customers in the store: one guy at the chocolates line, two other women browsing the chocolate boxes, and me. Not busy in the slightest. At least 6 employees in the store that I counted. I walk over to the boxes and pick up a red box. It's in Valentine's wrapping paper and bright. I get into what I thought was the line. While I wait, I am discussing with my boyfriend the various chocolates, considering adding some on. However, no one offered me a chocolate while standing there, even though the guy was offered 5+. I thought, "Ok. Maybe it's because I have the box." Then, the cashier asks another woman (not in line) if she's ready. Ok...maybe she didn't see me in line...I am wearing a bright green leopard jacket and carrying a red box, but I give people the benefit of the doubt. Then, ANOTHER cashier asks the other random woman if she's ready. She looks up surprised because she's reading the back of some box and nods her head. I'm upset now, so I ask, "ummm...where is the line????" and, without apology, they tell me "you're next!" YEA RIGHT. If I hadn't said anything, they would have kept on ignoring me. It's been a long time that I haven't been to See's Candies store. This small store is located in Diamond Bar in the same parking lot as Albertsons. I walked in during the afternoon and I was the only person here besides the two associates that work at the store. Everything was very organized and super clean. They have a lot of different chocolates and decided to buy a small box of chocolates to give to a friend. You can pick the chocolates you want and if you don't want to get a box you can pick pieces as well! They will sell it by weight I believe. During Halloween, they do have some cute items that are seasonal and also seasonal chocolates if you enjoy pumpkin spice come here during October! Great place for house warming chocolates or a small birthday gets together. They have plenty of options from normal chocolates to dark to different types of nuts. read more

See's candies has been around for as long as I can remember. The chocolates bring back fond memories of my childhood and teenage years when my family would receive gorgeous boxes of chocolates from See's around the holidays. I usually buy their Nuts and Chews, the Chocolate and Variety package, and the brittle for holidays as gifts. As for myself, I'm very selective since I only like certain combinations of flavors: Dark chocolate with nuts, chocolate with caramels, choc + brittle. I really dislike anything with fruit/fruity flavors, coconut shavings, marshmallows, and dark chocolate brittle. I think textures really matter to me. I also don't like that see's will charge $2.50 to $3 for holiday ribbons for packaging. Just ask for the regular gold string ribbon, which is free! read more

FIVE STARS for this See's Candy in Diamond Bar. I regularly frequent this location or the Chino Hills Store. I'm directly in the middle of both locations but I must say I prefer coming here because of the easy parking which is usually very close to the store. Earlier on today's late morning visit I was assisted by Ana who was so genuinely courteous while offering me a sample of dark chocolate. She made some great suggestions which I really appreciated. In the end I stuck with my Wife's favorite which has always been the Scotchmallow, I myself prefer the peanut brittle. If you've never been here before you gotta try it at least once, you'll get hooked. The parking is plenty and very accessible either just off Grand Avenue or Diamond Bar Bl. The ladies working here are incredibly nice!! I was greeted with a huge smile and a free sample of chocolate... Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the chocolate but it was orange flavored (delicious..) I was able to walk out there with truffles that had a beautiful packaging, awesome nut & chew bar, and awesome walnut & chew bar. I wasn't so sure what the awesome bars tasted like so I asked the woman working there. I was really shocked (and thankful) when she gave me two more chocolate bars to try out. Are they even allowed to do that?? Whenever I receive a shiny white box of See's Candies, I get really excited. That's why I think it's the perfect gift for any occasion!
