We stopped here for a quick coffee and scone to go. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk - it tasted mostly like milk. I couldn't get the flavor of espresso at all. Stopped in for our afternoon caffeine fix. Really nice coffee shop! Service was friendly and helpful. Cold brew was good, and the chocolate almond biscotti was tasty. Decor and bathrooms were nice, updated, and clean; they even have a kid's area that has a play kitchen, coloring supplies, and books. If ever we are in Wahpeton again, we will be back! read more

Every coffee shop is going to have a different taste due to how the beans are roasted and brewed, so some of my criticism will be subjective due to everyone having different taste profiles. With that disclaimer out of the way, here we go: Lack of knowledge: I was surprised at the lack of knowledge of their own product and coffee in general. They sell their own roasted beans there, but there's no roast date anywhere on the packaging and when I asked about it I got a deer in the headlights look. Now don't get me wrong, I don't go to Duncan or caribou and ask them for roast dates - but they also market differently. You know it's crap coffee, and you're alright doctoring it's up with sugar and cream to compensate. At a place like this I hold them to a higher standard, and if you're going to be a small coffee shop selling your own roasted beans, knowing the roast date is square one, and so is printing that date on the packaging. The taste: I've been here a few times and the espresso shots are never consistent. Over extracted, under extracted, it's the Wild West. One can't help but wonder that if they don't know the roast dates on the beans they sell, they likely don't know for the beans they use either. Bean freshness plays a big role in how good a shot will pull/taste. If beans are over a month old, don't bother using them for espresso shots, the result will leave a bad taste in the mouth. You can try to cover it up with shots of syrup and sugars and creams, but the aftertaste will still be there. The environment: It's actually a very cute little coffee shop. It's a place you want to stay in and sit for a while. I think they have a great touch for setting the mood, and they also have a few little bakery items such as biscottis which I for the most part enjoyed. After everything's said and done, it's a little bit of a shame. It's like a beautifully wrapped present, but a mediocre gift inside. Anyone can learn how to make a great cup of coffee, but the disturbing thing to me is no one there seems to actually "care" or have a passion for good coffee. That's the dealbreaker for me, and unless someone buys the place and breaths new lift into it, I don't foresee the doors staying open long term. read more

WOW!!! What a nice surprise to stumble upon this adorable coffee shop! The staff recommended to me a Lakeside drink and it's heaven!! The staff is so friendly, a nice refreshing touch for this east coast visitor. The have a small children's table, which was helpful for my 4yr old wild child. She ate a chocolate muffin and made a huge mess of herself but low and behold, they have a step stool for kids in the bathroom and a full length mirror! So she was able to wash her hands and face herself which is amazing. I had a caramel roll which was amazing! Huge and I ate every piece because I haven't had one in ages. I only ever see cinnamon rolls out East! This was gooey deliciousness. Highly recommend! It also has cute little gifts and clothing options! Very worth a stop in this place! read more

This is a super cute cafe found in small town, ND. The space is cozy and not brightly lit; reminiscent of your living room in the fall. Seating is comfortable and in chic colors. The cafe offers a variety of espresso and tea drinks, pastries, and, of course, coffee. They also have a couple of smoothie options for healthier picks. The wifi is free and fast. If I lived in Wahpeton, this is probably where I'd come and work. They also have a drive thru for convenience. I look forward to stopping in here whenever I visit my grandparents. read more

The coffee is amazing it is a little more expensive then the big chain coffee places. But they put much better quality ingredients then the big places. The service is fast. And they have a drive through witch is convenient when In hurry. And the people are always happy to help in anyway. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was in town for business and was delighted to find that they have gluten free muffins and bread. I also had a delicious grilled chicken cranberry salad and breakfast tea. The service was great!
