Great restaurant in downtown Wahpeton! We sat outside in a cute patio - great for viewing the sunset. I ordered the watermelon mojito and it was delicious and a huge drink! Great value We shared the cheese curd appetizer - it was excellent and came with ranch and ketchup. After being on a two week road trip this place proves to be the go to spot. Great, clean food options. Tables were clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good looking sweatshirts for sale. I wasn't going to send in a review but then read some of the others and decided to. I completely understand that we are on the downside of the pandemic. Thus why I let this situation drag on. I and my two adult children visited for Mother's Day lunch. I called and made reservations last night. We were running a little late, so I called to confirm we could still get in. At no time did the person who took my call told me they were running behind. We had planned to go to lunch and then the zoo in Wahpeton. We got to Brew Hall in Wahpeton at noon for lunch. Got seated right away, ordered drinks and ordered lunch right after... so at the latest 12:10. We did not get our food until 1:40.... NO LIES! The kids and I were not amused. After 35 mins she said it would be another 20 mins, brought us some chips and salsa.... 20 mins ended up being 40 and I told her we were leaving. She asked if she could quick see where our ticket was... she came back and said 5 mins. I said if it wasn't out on our table in 5, we were leaving. WTF! They had the food out - food wasn't hot, warm at best and very mediocre. They did credit my check 30%, so I left the waitress and good tip, as she should have been able to serve at least another table in that time frame. With the pandemic or not, we are in North Dakota... we've been open for quite a long time... this was hands down not acceptable. We will not be back! Beautifully restored building. We previously attended an event in their party space. Unfortunately tonight was a bad experience. One steak and one cheeseburger took 40 minutes. We didn't receive an apology, only the explanation that the kitchen had a big rush. Maybe they had a bunch of takeout orders. The food was mediocre at best and not hot. Final issue was my steak was served with a salad. I asked if I could substitute a Caesar and our server said yes. Had 2 tap craft beers which were served in 12 oz glasses making them pretty spendy at near $7. I asked server about the "tall" upgrade to 22 oz. She told me they wouldn't do it for some craft beers because they were too high in alcohol content. Ok?? The beers I ordered were between 5-6 ABV. I could get a bottle of wine or a double martini, right? After I questioned them the next beer came in a16 oz glass...Don't know if the bartender was mistaken or what. 1st visit to this location though I've been to their Perham and DL locations many times. This location however is DISAPPOINTING. 6 people for dinner and drinks. Many drink mistakes though I'm not sure whether it was the server or the bar. Food service took forever though they did provide a 15% discount for slow delivery. Limp, greasy fries and undercooked shrimp tacos. Interesting building but management needs to get engaged here and get service straightened out. No one in our group cares to return again. We just ate here with our two toddlers and my sister. We had to flag a server to even take our order because no one came to check on us after 15 mins. We ordered our sons' meals right away along with an appetizer. We had to wait an HOUR for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and our pretzel. To top it off they only brought one kid's meal when we ordered two. They did comp ONE meal for them. We waited TWO hours for our meals and at that point we just asked to have them boxed up since our 2 year old and 3 year old had it! We were not compensated anything. I get they were short handed like the waitress said but I watched several families arrive after us and get food before we even saw ours. One family was able to sit, eat and leave within 40 mins. I will not return to this restaurant and I will be sure to tell people in Fargo to not waste their time here. Very upset about this experience! read more

Last night was absolutely awful. First off, we had a group of 10. Mind you, the reservation was booked over a week ago. We show up at 7:30 and they lost our reservation. We didn't get our food until 9pm. When we got our food, it was cold, and awful. We paid $11 for cold, tasteless macaroni. Our fries were burnt and cold. I understand it was busy, but I would at least expect warm, good food. Especially for the price you pay there. We didn't even know who our waitress was. We had multiple waitresses and neither one of them knew what was going on. Around 9:45, one of us went up to the bar to get the tab, the lady bartending was rude when we asked for the tab. Finally around 10pm, we got the tab, and all of our tabs were messed up. Needless to say, no one will be going back there for a long time. So we all wasted 2 1/2hrs...the table next to us also said they had an awful experience and will not be returning for a long time too. read more
