Staying in the area and this restaurant was recommended. Perfect for us because we are towing a camper and plenty of room to park. I ordered the combo omelette and hubby ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. All hot and delicious. Service was great and a clean warm atmosphere.

This place is overrated. It probably enjoys the ratings It does because most of the clientele are locals. The food is OK, not great. Service is warm and welcoming but an element of ADD-like behavior prevails. In some cases we had asked for an item two or three times before it was finally delivered in a context where there weren't a lot of customers needing service. Many of the servers appear over 50 in age and their physical condition may be a factor in service. Recommended. If you rein in your expectations you may find it a delightful stop.

Ok I stopped in Dickinson, ND again. I almost wasn't going to do a review cause I was watching TV in my truck while I ate my dinner to go. This time I had the beef plate.... Stop! This was absolutely one of the best flavors to touch my pallet in a long time... what a great meal.. I had a whole order and ate it all. Side was the boscth soup... like a vegetarian soup with .. it was good I didn't think it really matched the beef plate flavor and was very filling. That was my fault.. could've had a salad... glad I didn't tho the soup was a good experience... the beef plate gets a 10/10.. I was overly satisfied... stop in try it out you won't be disappointed!!!!

Caramel rolls are outstanding. Only had breakfast here but the food is always great. Busy place but worth the wait.

September 8, 2026…read more Dickinson, North Dakota Holy cow this place is busy. Not an empty seat on a Tuesday night at 6:45 pm. We were greeted at the door and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Staff was incredibly friendly. Our waitress, Ricki, treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. What a gem she is! We ordered the wings with half horseradish, honey and half honey barbecue. Comes with blue cheese, ranch dressing, and a side of fries. We changed our side to onion rings. She told us that the wings were her favorite, and the horseradish honey was the best sauce after we ordered. She guided us around the menu fantastically. We also ordered chicken nachos. The menu is extensive. Everything from burgers and sandwiches to pasta, salad and entrées. I love all the choices they had for appetizers. I wish I could try a bit of everything. Let's talk about the inside of the restaurant. There is a brick wall that lines the entire side of the restaurant. The bar is open and takes up 2/3 of the left side. Wood tables are in front of the bar up toward the window. High tops line the interior right side of the bar. It looks as though there is an upstairs, however, it was closed for the day. The minute somebody leaves the table they clean it immediately to turn it over for the next diners. The floors are wooden. Restaurant is very clean. The wings were very good. Perfectly fried, came out hot, the perfect amount of sauce, and plenty of ranch and blue cheese. The onion petals were very small with lots of breading, but the onions were thick and flavorful. We also ordered the chicken nachos. There was plenty of. chicken and it was both chunk and shredded. Diced tomatoes, chunks of onion and lettuce. We asked for no olives and jalapeños on the side. They also brought the queso on the side. I kind of wish the queso was over top of the nachos while it was still hot. This salsa was good nice and chunky. The sour cream came in a packet that you squeeze on the side. With all the fresh ingredients they gave us, the sour cream was a disappointment. The chips were very crunchy throughout the entire nacho plate. This is definitely a dish you share. Very large portion. It is now 8 o'clock, and there has been a steady flow of people throughout our meal coming into the restaurant. There's still not an empty seat. This place is busy and vibrant. Don't be afraid of the busyness as they turn these tables so quickly. The staff all works together and they do a remarkable job. What I did not like about the restaurant is the plates are aluminum. Even though they come with liners, the aluminum is a turn off. Regardless of this minor concern, I give this place five stars! I don't typically hand out five stars, as it is hard to have a clean restaurant, friendly staff, and great food. However, this place hits the mark. You must visit here if you are in town. I can only imagine how fun this place would be in the dead of winter in North Dakota. I would definitely come back to this restaurant. And I hope that you come too!

Food, overall, was good and tasty- chips and fries were impressive as was the coleslaw. Atmosphere was upbeat and packed within 45mims of opening.

One of the best places in the northern plains, even in the summer and even in a very touristy town…read more Excellent quality and generous servings. Well worth the price. Recommend beginning at TR's Tavern, a small lounge next to the dining room. It's old fashioned is a generous pour and expertly crafted. Plus the bartenders are just up front and friendly folks. So much to like about the dining room. On consecutive nights we had great meals and wonderful service, particularly from Alex! It's not over crowded and has a real rhythm to its service, although you never feel rushed. Impressive wine list that we chose from both nights. We also like the substantial side Ceasars you could add to the entrees. The bread service was very good too. Heartily recommend the duck quarters or the lamb rack, both with superb cheese grits and grilled asparagus. The favors just knock you for a loop! The blackened salmon is also an excellent choice, with the really well prepared roasted red potatoes. So creamy. The dinner salad with beef tips is almost overwhelming--skip lunch that day. The sticky toffee desert is surprisingly good-well baked, sweet but not too much. You really miss a taste of western North Dakota if you skip this place.

We returned about 6pm and this time entered through the hotel and paused at the "Please wait to be seated" sign post for about 10 minutes. The restaurant was bustling and we thought nothing about being "ignored" but my wife insisted that we walk to the main entrance and get in line. We were shocked when the front end staff found no reservations under my wife's name. Thankfully, "Shaker" had noted our earlier visit with my wife's service animal and had made a handwritten to the affect that we had a dog. Whew, crisis averted thanks to "the man", Shaker and his attention to detail! Dinner was uneventful and the service by Franco was exceptional. We enjoyed the bourbon glazed Brussel sprouts before our entrees; she had the 8 oz tenderloin and I had the osso bucco. Everything was terrific and the pace, leisurely. Since we were celebrating my wife's birthday she got a candle on her sticky, toffee pudding and I opted for the creme brulee. Fantastic experience, highly recommended.
