When we arrived, I asked for a manger and she was a very unprofessional teenager. I asked who called me and screwed up my reservation? She replied with her employee did. I explained and she tells me that I registered through a third party which was false. I showed the email and she stuck to her lie. I pulled up the email I received and WTF it was her name... then she goes on to tell me that they do not have any of the rooms I want available. I then asked about other rooms and she all of a sudden had a king room available. So these king rooms were all booked up and the suites were booked when the org I was there for started. Hmmm that org started in 1892, really. We finally get to our room, dark and dingy. The blinds were broke and would not move. The door would not close without a little maintenance. The ac well that didn't work either. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. We attended the conference and let me just say, a steak should not be cooked to resemble leather. Checking out went easy but caught the teenage manager in anther lie. The worked at the desk makes the comment of "I see you registered on our website" hmmm. All together I slept like shit, the food sucked and the staff well you can read. One bright spot, the bartenders were nice

My sister has had quite a trying last couple of weeks with a knee replacement surgery and losing one of her beloved fur babies today. After she received her arrangement, she called me and said it was just beautiful and lifted her spirits. I just called the florist to thank them for doing a beautiful job for me and brightening the day of someone who really needed a boost. I've used them before for a funeral bouquet and they didn't disappoint me that time either. I will most certainly keep using this company for my needs as the occasion arises in the future.

The attached restaurant and bar was delicious and so so convenient. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were friendly and always very helpful. The morning breakfast area was spacious, clean, and the breakfast food options were plentiful. We will stay here again when in Pierre.

The flight was cancelled (by Great Lakes airlines), and our travel agency immediately called to see if room could be cancelled. Nope, no way, no how. Not our problem your flight is cancelled. I have since learned that this flight, which arrives at 7:45 p.m. is often cancelled. Therefore, this business is scooping up no-show revenue all over the place. No flexibility. Now, I am re-scheduled back to Pierre tonight, same flight but I will pick ANY hotel other than this one when I arrive this evening. I will sleep in my rental car before I will give them another nickel.
