He visually declared that the posts were leaning and needed to be dug out and reset--however, he conducted this assessment without using a level or any diagnostic tools on site. After the visit, I measured the house-side posts using a 2-axis level and provided photographic proof to Peerless showing that the posts read dead-center plumb on both axes. The issue is strictly isolated to failed, unreinforced horizontal rails. Despite receiving clear physical proof that the existing posts are straight, Ron and management refused to remove $1,680 in unnecessary post replacements ($1,440 of which was labor to set posts that are already level), stating they "cannot work for free." Management defended the $2,764+ final price tag for a single 10-foot section repair by citing internal quoting software errors and "small job" labor surcharges to cover contractor piece rates, while dismissing realistic trade material pricing as "box store" rates. Volume buying doesn't explain a 400% markup on standard post sleeves or charging $1,440 in labor to replace plumb posts. Because Peerless refused to adjust their scope to reflect actual site conditions, I have officially closed out this ticket and am taking my business to another local contractor. Homeowners should be aware of their diagnostic process and repair pricing structure before moving forward.

I had the absolute worst experience with Peerless Fence that I've ever had with any company ever…read more Poor workmanship, a salesman that stole $6k from me and a corporate office that doesn't care for their customers or quality of work Let's start with the sales process. I contracted peerless fence to build my fence based on a very strict time line I had. The salesman john promised me this deadline would be met. He reassured me many times over the next few weeks that this deadline would be met. There was thousands of dollars on the line on my end for this deadline. Peerless was 40% higher than every other quote I received but I went with them only because they assured my time line would be met. I paid $6,000 cash for the half down payment. Two days before the deadline Julie had not come out and John would not give me anything other than "don't worry it's happening." So I call the office and it turns out that John never recorded my deposit OR put me on the schedule. He had pocketed my money and was trying to do my fence on the side. The office claimed I was lying when I told them I was promised this date and I had paid cash until I sent dozens of text messages to them including a deposit receipt. They got the fence done but way over my timeline and it cost me a lot of money and I was never offered anything more than a "yeah sorry not our problem anymore". They fired the salesman and filed felony theft charges against him but I was never informed of any of this or offered any kind of apology. When I brought it up, the project manager Tarik Rana just dismissed it "that's not here nor there anymore please just pay me the rest of the balance". This timeline issue cost me over $4000 and they didn't care. Now for the quality of work. The fence itself, is awful. I was told "ultra premium materials and high quality hardware.". They use Home Depot wood that (by their own admission) sits outside uncovered for months or years at a time before going on a job. The hardware is the cheapest, bottom of the barrel junk you can buy. I had to have them come out not even 3 months later and replace almost half of my fence posts because they were bent so bad the posts curled up and pulled my fence line back. Now I need to pay someone else to come out and replace the other half because they're also bent and curling up. They did a horrible job, and they use the lowest quality materials they possibly can. The fence is touching the ground in some places and not even close in other places. My small gate is sagging. They couldn't even line up my double gate straight. The company has offered me absolutely nothing beyond a half baked "apology" when I have a $13k fence that looks absolutely awful. I'm shocked they even put their name tag on it. Avoid them at all costs. Find a good small business fence company that doesn't hire criminals. I waited this long because the fence was under warranty but when I called this spring to have some more repairs made I was told it's out of warranty and they would not be doing anything for me

They came out, but did not spend a lot of time with me; I was debating between purchasing another wood fence or an aluminum fence. We have a very large backyard so this would be a big project. I also called Paramount for an estimate. The salesman we had was Laura. She spent more than 45 minutes discussing where the Fence should go, how it would look with the house, and the differences between wood and aluminum. Paramount was a little bit higher in price compared to our old company, but the big difference was the expertise and professionalism! Laura was so detailed oriented and continued even after the deposit was made to keep us updated on the progress of our project, due to gates having to be special ordered. It has only been six weeks since installation, so I cannot comment on long-term durability, but I can comment on their initial work. We had a great flood on the Fourth of July, which was only three days after installation! My husband and I were having an anxiety attack since you're not supposed to even open the gate for two or three days after installation. As you can see in the video, the Fence held. If this is a testament on the quality of material and installation, I don't know what could be. I highly recommend Paramount Fence, and a big thank you to Laura for making this experience seamless!

We have two gates. One of them is next to the garage, and the post that the gate latches to isn't actually a real post. It's just a hollow vinyl sleeve that's attached at the top to the garage, but it's not secured to the ground. It's basically floating. According to the original receipt, the installation included 5x5 posts set 36 inches into concrete footings. That clearly isn't the case here. I contacted the company and initially got their automated system and left my information. After not hearing back, I called again and spoke to someone who was able to locate the original job and said I'd get a call back within 24 to 48 hours. I did get a call the next day, but the person who called wasn't prepared. I still took the time to explain the issue and even sent photos and a video showing exactly what's going on. Despite that, he immediately started talking about costs without ever seeing the job in person. I made it clear that I wasn't calling about warranty coverage. I understand it's been more than a year. I simply asked for someone to come out, take a look, and provide an estimate in writing, along with an explanation of how the issue would be fixed. When he mentioned that the fix would likely involve installing a proper post, it raised the obvious question, why wasn't that done correctly in the first place? He said he had another meeting in 15 minutes and would follow up after speaking with a colleague. As expected, I haven't heard anything since.

If you seal it, a Red Cedar fence can last for 25 years.) Many of the pickets/boards are split and separating. The nails are coming out. The rails are split. The posts are split. Some of the Pickets only had one nail holding it up. Very disappointed. I will probably have to hire someone else and have it repaired. This was a terrible installation and product. In the end, I decided to go with Archwood for my project and I'm so glad I did. Unlike most other contractors who over quote and rush through the job to maximize profits, Jeff will take whatever time is needed to do the job right...period. Here is the thing that is pretty rare: he listens AND is patient. Any concerns I had along through the project as I'm anal when it comes to details and perfection and any changes I wanted to make during the project, he not only listened, but he made sure my concerns were completely addressed each and every instance. I can't speak highly enough of the character of this young man. In my case, he underbid my job with the time it took for him to complete this big project and because he went over and above on getting the job done right to my satisfaction, I gave him a 60% cash bonus because he flat out deserved it. The deck looks incredible. In sum, Jeff and Archwood was not the fastest option as he does the majority of the work himself, but if you want the job done right by a man who is meticulous with details, with integrity and pride of doing great quality work (as if it was his own home), Jeff is the man for the job. The Finch panels were good now they want to charge me $1400 to replace the panels that they stole from me. This place is very, very shady. I don't trust them at all. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and talking to an attorney. All I want back is my fence panels and my bottom and top supports. They don't want to return them. Don't trust peerless fence.
