There were plenty of options at different price points, so even though some of the jewelry I loved was outside my budget this trip, there were still smaller things we could take home. The turquoise jewelry was especially beautiful and there were several sets I would've loved to buy. They also had a surprisingly large selection of gorgeous Turkish lamps that were fun to look at. The man working there was very friendly and helpful without ever being pushy. He carried himself very respectfully and gave us space to look around while still being available if we needed anything, which I really appreciated. We ended up leaving with a couple of smaller pieces. I picked out a black worry stone and my daughter found a pink and blue crystal that she loved. There was so much to look at and choose from that I would absolutely stop in again the next time we're in Estes Park. Hopefully next time I'll have a little more room in the budget because there were definitely a few pieces I would've loved to bring home!

If your a hiker stop by before 6 and there is an employee named Jim there who is a hiking enthusiast. We talked to him and he gave us insight that only comes from experience, he was an incredible help when picking out trails. He told us about frozen lake, and even showed us the route on a map, which not many people know about or go to, and it ended up being one of our best hikes. One great item in the store is their 1$ trail patches. For every big lake, waterfall, or peak you climb, you can get a patch to remember it. They make great inexpensive souvenirs for hikers. They also have a wall of last minute hiking essentials like first aid and survival tools. All together an amazing place, would give it more stars if I could.

We actually found this place quite by accident. Our AI GPS assistant did not give us correct…read moredirections so we ended up on a road where I was looking to turn around and it happened to be the parking lot of this rock shop. There is a pond with geese and we saw kids feeding them so we decided to check it out. The setting is serene. The stream/river runs gently by the rock shop. The pond is right next door. There is a separate cafe and rest area. It all is very nice. There is seating for what looks like a lecture area. The rock shop: what an interesting place. It has tons (literally) of different rocks. Outside, there are unfinished rocks of different types and I guess you buy them to manufacture yourself. There are also decorative rocks for your yard. There are manufactured rocks inside the store. Some are really interesting and unique. It ended up being a very nice experience. I give it 5 stars because there is a place outside where you can sift for gold and other valuable rocks just like in the old days. The kid had a blast doing that and she was thrilled to find something "valuable" (though not gold). She kept asking how much her rocks were worth. I am sure that she will remember this experience, which was quite unplanned.

Found a lovely turquoise ring with just a touch of ornamentation, in just my size. (I have surprisingly slim fingers). Best part was that I'd been look for a the perfect turquoise ring for almost three years. Plus, at half off the original price, it seemed like a dream come true. Unfortunately, when I wore the ring today, it started getting bent out of shape. I'm so disappointed that the ring ended up being really delicate. I love it though, so I'll just have to be super careful!
