I was becoming quite disappointed as everything I found was too big or too small or had some crazy design, wasn't the right color, etc. I was at the end of my journey and about to give up when I decided to give a last ditch effort and walked into Sierra Smallbird. It is a small standalone shop in the heart of Estes Park. When I walked in, I was greeted with the sound of birds chirping through the speaker on a phone. The store is clean and well lit. After looking around a bit, I was greeted by the store owner, Sierra. She told me a bit about what she had, and I explained to her exactly what I was looking for. I asked her if she had a cross necklace pendent that was the same size as a pair of earrings I saw on the shelf. She showed me the larger ones, but I told her I had hoped for something a bit smaller. She then offered to turn one of the earrings into a pendent for a necklace for me. After showing me the different chains, explaining the type of metal, and discussing pricing, she got to work putting together my necklace. It was so simple, yet so beautiful and truly everything I wanted. Sierra was so kind and friendly and I so appreciate her taking the time to make the exact necklace I was looking for. Highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area.

She and I chose the stone, and what particular portion of the stone I wanted in my ring. It is reminiscent of a mountain, the sky and a tiny cloud off to the left. We stopped in midday Friday and she had it completed ahead of schedule, Saturday morning. She is very reasonably priced. She was wonderful to work with. Her creations are lovely and obviously one of a kind.
