They said it was our responsibility to get their auger cable out of our pipe because they didn't know how to and we needed to pay for it. I was shocked that they thought we should pay for it. Aloha was able to remove the cable at a very reasonable price. They didn't try to get us to do a bunch of unnecessary repairs like other companies do. Immature Service Man. We got a quote on the phone and he came out today. Then, after looking over…read morethe problem and then pulling his equipment downstairs, the price suddenly changed. Not a big deal, just jumping up from $125 to $420 before doing more than flushing the toilet. I get how service guys work. We turned him down and he went back into the bathroom to clean up. As I was leaving the house, I checked to make sure the water was off in case of flooding. The hose on the toilet appeared to be connected. When I turned the nozzle, the hose burst off, spraying me and the bathroom with water. That part was purposefully made to look connected. Before he even quoted the price, the guy wasn't in the bathroom by himself and the landlord didn't see him disconnect the hose. So after he pulled his stuff downstairs, he stopped in the hall, changed the price, then went back in the bathroom to exact his "revenge". I'm even worried he flushed something down there to make the clog worse. That is no way to deal with customers, even if they do figure out your "sales" tactics. I'd rather have clogged drains for days than deal with immature "professionals." Scamming is one thing. Sabotage is on a whole other level.

They replaced the gutters and downspouts on one side of my home with larger six-inch black gutters designed to handle heavy runoff from steep rooflines. The installation looks good, and they extended the leaf guards along the full runs beyond what we had originally discussed, adding meaningful value. The corner splash protection should also help control water in the most difficult areas. My earlier review noted that the heat tracing still needed to be reconnected. They returned, completed that work, and took care of much more than I expected. Their willingness to come back, finish the details, and do significant additional work earned my confidence and changed the experience to a five-star one. I appreciate their follow-through and am very happy with the completed project.
