I boarded the bus from Marriott Woodlands waterway and found it easy to park in the self park and walk across. I checked my bag in and boarded the bus. They check your license and give your seat assignment. Our bus loaded quickly and departed right at 215pm. Makayla was our attendant and she was very nice and passed the tray of snacks around several times. She got us soft drinks, bottled water, offered a fleece blanket, eye mask, ear plugs and a variety of other things you might need on a road trip. It was like taking a first class flight. You could order adult beverages if you want for a charge. The ride was smooth and seats comfortable. I didn't use the restroom but many people did. The bus only seats 22 people so it was super quiet. They ask that you speak in library voice. I don't think I will ever drive again. We were dropped off at the Doubletree at Love Field (DAL) and I took an uber to pick up a rental. Upon return, I had the same great experience. I was early and the bus was a little late but they sent a message. We made it back in good time regardless. Amanda and Avery were our attendants. They also offer you a warm towel before departure and a chocolate once you get off the bus. Excellent service!!

Title: Suggestions for a More Inviting Greyhound Bus Experience…read more My recent ride on a Greyhound bus left me with mixed impressions. While the service was efficient, improvements could enhance the overall experience and make it feel more luxurious and comforting for passengers. Firstly, the bus's color scheme--primarily gray--was somewhat dull and uninspiring. While I understand the practicality of this choice, a brighter, more inviting color palette could significantly improve the atmosphere. Warm colors or cheerful accents could create a sense of comfort and make the journey feel less monotonous. A more vibrant interior would uplift the mood and resonate with the idea of embarking on an adventure. Additionally, enhancing the seating experience could go a long way in making passengers feel more at home. Comfortable, cushioned seats with more legroom would be a fantastic upgrade. Adding footrests or adjustable headrests could provide extra comfort during long journeys. Another suggestion would be to improve the onboard environment. Soft lighting and calming music could create a more relaxing atmosphere, allowing passengers to unwind or even enjoy a nap. Offering complimentary refreshments, like water or light snacks, would also add a touch of hospitality that many travelers would appreciate. in conclusion, this was my first time, but I was not very impressed. I'm not sure if it was because it was in the pick up stop was at downtown Dallas which was not the cleanest Bus Station.

On March 3, 2026, I traveled on Greyhound Bus Route US1160 from San Antonio to Austin. After exiting the bus in Austin, I realized approximately one hour later that I had inadvertently left my suitcase in the secured undercarriage compartment of the bus. Because the undercarriage storage area is locked and only accessible by Greyhound personnel, the bag remained in the company's custody while the bus continued to its final stop in Dallas. I immediately submitted a lost property report while the bus was still en route. Greyhound initially advised that the investigation process would take approximately 7 business days. It has now been about a month without recovery of the suitcase or clear information regarding inspection procedures conducted when the bus arrived in Dallas. The suitcase contained electronics, clothing, and personal items, including limited-availability apparel from events that cannot easily be replaced. One electronic device contained in the suitcase has shown recent internet activity after the loss was reported, which raises concerns regarding how lost property is handled after it is reported. I also requested a reasonable communication accommodation due to a disability that affects my ability to process complex written communication in high-stress situations. I requested phone communication to ensure effective participation in the claims process, but communication continued primarily by email, which made the process significantly more difficult. Additionally, when asking questions regarding Emotional Support Animal (ESA) policies, responses at times felt dismissive when simply seeking clarification regarding applicable policies. I hope Greyhound improves both lost property handling procedures and accessibility-related communication practices so that future passengers do not experience similar difficulties when attempting to recover belongings or request reasonable accommodations. I am sharing this review so that others are aware of potential challenges and so the company has an opportunity to improve transparency and customer support processes. Documentation of the timeline and claim communications is available.
