Just before the Summer Bridge program began, I reached out to Ebony to ensure my son's enrollment was secure, relying on this assurance to cancel all other offers and commitments from different pre-college programs for the summer. I took time off work and drove back and forth for two consecutive weeks to ensure a smooth move-in day. To our shock, on that very day, we were informed that my son was too young due to my early signing of the dorm commitment form. Despite explaining that he was only planning to participate in the 6-week Summer Bridge program, which had been clarified numerous times, the message fell on deaf ears. This experience underscores a troubling lack of organization and communication within the administration. I had high hopes for this school to prepare my son for college, especially in fields he is passionate about, such as Business Finance and Logistics. It's deeply frustrating to see such carelessness undermine the potential for our future. He absolutely loves going to school every morning and adores his teachers and the staff. They adore him even more! Everyone is so welcoming. You can tell that this is a loving environment and that they truly care about and for the kids. I know that when I leave my son in the morning, he is in great hands. They truly feel like my extended family and I'm grateful to have them in my son's life. This isn't just a daycare. They actually teach from a curriculum. My son knows his alphabets, numbers, shapes, and phonetic sounds of the alphabets. This is truly the place to send your kids to prepare them for grade school. The campus consists of just a portable building and a make shift sunday school building from the church who they are paying to lease it from. It's sad to think this school had bad reviews 8 years ago and they still have not raised there standards. They try to make the staff leave good reviews when they have a TEA inspection coming. You know it's the leadership because the other campus is the same maybe worst because it's high school. Leadership comes to the campus once or twice a month in there Bentley to make sure it's still just mediocre enough to be able to collect their funding.
