Dr. Sherman took X-rays studied my foot & decided I had created scare tissue which had become so painful! He is a super kind man with vast knowledge expertise. He used a kneading wand to break up the area, next he used a laser on the area. He was very patient allowing me to stand & determine where I felt pain. Next, he used the laser until it was nearly gone. Lastly, he gave me a little cortisone in the area. I immediately felt relief! I am not limping any longer!!! If he would have seen any left over fragments of glass I would have wanted him to open the area up feeling very confident in his skill. I will definitely be back to see him if I need a podiatrist again. Oh while I was there he used his laser on a injury I had on my thumb. He's a wonderful man!

Now he has his own business in Dallas. All his patients from Fort Worth continue to make that 45 minute drive to his location in Dallas. His entire staff are extremely friendly professional andake you welcoming Vivian is Dr. Legel's wife anf office manager. Yesica is Dr. Legel's MA and has always taken care of me since she started. Destiny takes care of all insurance claims of which is not easy but always has a smile. The first person you see when you walk in is Dzana the receptionist and scheduler for follow up appointment. She is always with a smile and welcomes you as you walk in the door. Dr. Legel has added another DPM and MA. Dr. Legel's surgery is Tuedays. To avoid not having a doctor on staff, Dr. Legel has addrd Dr. Genise Kennedy DPM along with her MA, Gigi. I've had the opportunity to have the newbies check both of my feet post surgery. This last surgery I had a month ago were severe spurs on both feet from the digits after amputations. The spurs were pointing downward and puncturing my pads underneath. Due to neuropathy from hips to feet, I couldn't feel them until I spotted blood on my floors. Dr. Legel went in and filed away to the point that the post op x-rays looked as smooth as a baby's bottom. Dr. Yeargain misdiagnosed me and placed an insert in my shoes that aggravated my injury. He then…read moreprescribed steroids I didn't need and that he knew I had serious side effects from. He also continued to recommend using the insert after being informed it was aggravating my injury. Details below: I was diagnosed with a toe sprain ~2.5 months ago. Since then, I've complied with all recommendations but still have similar symptoms. After I described my symptoms at a follow up appointment after the prescribed rest time (supposed to have been 4-6 weeks), Dr. Yeargain's reaction was to ask "What do you want to do about it." I actually had to tell him that my goal is to not be in pain. After that, he prescribed steroids even though I told him I had serious adverse side effects from steroids. He also said he can't rule out an unhealed sprain but didn't order imaging and refused to explain why. The podiatrist I ended up seeing a day later took x-rays and diagnosed me with an entirely different (but very common) injury and confirmed my suspicion that the insert Dr. Yeargain placed was aggravating my injury. Dr. Yeargain's front desk is very helpful, but my experience with him was a complete miss. I sent this review to his office for written comments, especially if I've mischaracterized anything, but I haven't received any written feedback after a week.

Well...it was time again..same toe, along with another foot issue. Did not want another PrimaCare experience, so I found Dallas Podiatry Works. I went in expecting a similar painful experience. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, so that helped a bit. They needed X-Rays and having them done in-office was a nice touch. Dislike having to go different places for these things. The All-In-One is my preference. Anna, the prep nurse was nice and set me at ease for the ingrown removal. Dr. Northcutt is very thorough in asking questions and provided lots of insight and paperwork to explain what was going on and the next steps...sorry, pun intended. Once the doc started, we talked for a bit...his bedside manner is great...Anna came back in and the doc was done. I didn't even know he had done the procedure as I opted for the chair view blocker. Nothing like my first experience...it was literally painless and done quickly. The checkout was effortless and I was on my way...slower than when I came, but I was well taken care of. Bottomline: No one WANTS to go the foot doctor, but when you do...Dallas Podiatry Works is THE place. They have a Dallas and Plano location.
