I'm traveling alone and decided to stay here due to its proximity to where I need to be, as well as the price. I tend to stay at the chain places because there is always an 800 number to call if something goes wrong but decided to give this one a try anyway. So glad I did. The room itself was very clean, very comfortable, and very well-appointed. Due to the nature of my visit, I really liked having a desk with a comfy chair as well as a very comfortable lounging chair with foot stool. I would say I spent a good amount of time utilizing those, but not nearly as much time as I spent using the comfortable outdoor pavilion area. It was a sunny 85 degrees when I got down here so sitting at the table under the pavilion to work with the nice breeze going was heavenly. Even better though was sitting out there to FaceTime my family to say good night later in the evening when it literally seems like paradise. Gentle lighting, a fire pit, comfy chairs, balmy weather. You can also borrow outdoor games from the front desk! Obviously the hotel can't control the weather but if they could... They also have a lovely pool area that I didn't use but BONUS POINTS! It has an accessible chair lift for wheelchair users. I do not think I have EVER seen a hotel with one. My gym has one. My physical therapist has one. But a hotel for traveling guests?!?!? Amazing. Breakfast was a lovely and welcomed addition, especially included in the price and I found there to be enough options that pretty much everyone could find SOMETHING to munch on. I don't know if it changes, but today there was fried eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, assorted cereal cups, milk, bowls of oats with some spices and stuff to jazz them up if you choose, fresh apples, assorted juices and water, light & fit yogurt (my favorite!), bagels with cream cheese, bread and butter (and the toaster for them - which is not always a given, trust me!), some donuts, peanut butter and jelly packets, a waffle maker with batter, syrups and whipped cream, and coffee/tea/hot water. I thought it was a great assortment and anything I could think to add would just be nitpicky. They covered pretty much something for everyone. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and lovely and very helpful. The front desk is willing to stop and give you tips about the area, people performing maintenance or housekeeping stop to greet you. The people were all great. I also like that there is a lot of dining within walking distance. If you have been on a plane and in a car all day like me, you can easily walk across the parking lot or across the street to so many different restaurants for dinner. I also liked that they give you a little slip of paper at check in with times to remind you of breakfast time, cookie time, quiet time (which I really appreciated). There are a bunch of designated smoking benches and areas, but I do wish there were more no smoking areas throughout - being a non-smoker myself - it did get somewhat annoying that the pavilion is a smoking area so people out smoking there sit with the people just trying to enjoy the evening breeze, and a lot of people just step out onto the balcony outside of their rooms, so you walk the cigarette gauntlet every time you come and go, but I just leave the pavilion when the smoking gets to me and come back later. This would 100% be the hotel I stay at any time I am in the area.

We were also advised that there wouldn't be any pet fees, yet when we reviewed the bill, there's a $75 pet fee. Few things we noticed before settling in. 1. The bathroom has a stand up shower with half glass to avoid water leaking or splashing on the floor. That is pointless. The water was getting everywhere when we showered. They need to add a door that closes of they want to keep a stand up shower or change to a tub. 2. The water pressure sucks. And you can see the calcium build up on the shower head. The shower head should be cleaned at least once a month. 3. The bed, while big enough for us, had depressions in it (from normal wear and tear). With the depression in the bed and pillows being extremely soft, the bed was uncomfortable. 4. While they say they are pet friendly, I dont think they are. My dogs are generally very quiet, and will only bark if they hear someone at the door or need something. We were asked to leave and take the dogs for a walk because they were receiving "noise complaints" if a dog can't see what's happening, they will all bark to alert the owners of possible dangers. There were people outside walking up and down and talking (cleaners and guests) 5. Apparently it was "bike fest" and they people that stayed at the hotel, kept revving their engins. This triggered my dogs to bark. They do the same at home all the time. While we were on the 4th floor, we were still able to hear the bikes and it was loud and annoying. 6. All the cyclists took over all the parking and that made it next to impossible to find parking at night. While I understand policy and procedures, if you're a pet friendly establishment, then it should be known that pets will bark. Its not like they're regular pets. These are emotional support pets. Most times they were with me in the room since I was not well during this trip. So when they asked us to leave for that day we felt unwelcomed.

It is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. One has access to the living and dinning room areas, which are beautiful and relaxing. The music was also extraordinary! 2)The treatment I received by the hosts, was just beyond expectations: very kind, accommodating, and I felt at home with dear friends. 3) The breakfast is simply unbelievable: gourmet, delicious beyond words and with an amazing assortment of different things (e.g., fresh juices, fresh fruit, French toasts, sausage and roasted apples, and a variety of beverages). 4) It is a blocks from downtown. And we chose this place because of its proximity to the Withlacoochee state trail, which if you don't know, is a 75 mile long rails to trails bike path. We love it and we get to it by crossing the street and riding about half mile on a sandy trail that takes you to the paved path. No need to put the bikes on the car and drive to a trail. But enough about the bike trail. Sandy Oaks is very quiet and very clean. They encourage you to wash your car and camper as they want to keep the park looking good. Most parks I've been in don't let you wash your car. Bath and showers are clean and well maintained and the laundry has 10 washers and dryers. They also have group activities and gatherings. We find it comfortable and well situated. But be aware that some of the spots are quite small. Not like a state campground.

BEWARE! Felt RIPPED OFF, Not customer oriented!. On Dec 16,…read more2023, my husband and I booked a 7-day RV stay at Sandy Oaks RV Park, Beverly Hills FL 34465. This was 9 weeks in advance of our Feb 18, 2024 arrival, planned so we could be close to a family member was scheduled to have surgery mid-Feb. Over Christmas we learned the date/location for surgery had changed. We immediately called to cancel and because we were at Day 55 (5 days into their 30 - 60 day window) for a full refund, they kept 50% of what we paid plus $40 admin fee. They charged us $279 out of the $355 we paid. They only had our reservation for 12 days!!!! We called and talked with Jodee, the manager, who was unwaivering and adamant those were the rules. We pointed out their website stated "50% of your security deposit plus $40 administrative fee" would be charged, not the entire amount of the 7-day stay. (Wow, we made a HUGE mistake paying 100% up front.) Our fellow RV-friends agreed that a refund of $279 for holding a reservation for 12 days was unreasonable and not consistent with their stated cancellation policy. They called and spoke with two different staff members who told them the 50% applied to 1st night's stay, not the entire 7 nights. e.g., cancellation charges would be $36 plus $40 admin totaling $76. Jodee charged us $279! Beware! this is not a nice "friendly and helpful" RV Park. Be sure to double check EVERYTHING before booking with them so you're not "ripped off" like we feel we were.

Wifi was not good and the TV was unusable and glitched. The room was clean and spacious and there was a good sized fridge, as well as, a microwave and a coffee machine. The shower was spacious as well. Lots of places to eat and get coffee in the area. One morning, we were woken up by construction happening right outside our door. But, all in all, I would stay here again.
