A few months ago my business network failed and we were unable to restart the network. Comcast our Internet provider had crashed and after trying everything we knew to do we still couldn't get the network to connect to the Internet or to each other. I am a website designer so I have had lots of opportunity to use Computer Tech services over the years. By far, Dallas Smith - The Tech Doctor is the best. When I called and explained the problem he told me when he would arrive and he was prompt. He quickly evaluated the problem, explained what would be needed and made some other recommendations as well. Dallas had my network and all accompanying PCs back up and running with the Network and that network has remained stable even though Comcast has failed many times since his work in the setup. So I had the pleasure of speaking to Dallas today, regarding a wireless networking conundrum I've been wrestling with for a number of weeks. Dallas placed me a bit at ease with his extensive knowledge on the matter, however I noticed that when I asked questions for further clarification, his impatience was conveyed through his frustrated tone--we all have bad days I get it. However, that doesn't mean it's okay to (passively) lose your cool if I need the technical jargon explained for my common understanding. Although the conversation left me slightly miffed, the information was honestly very useful and above all- free. As promised I am now leaving this review in exchange for the courtesy in that regard. When I have an issue, he can remote into my computer and resolve whatever issues I am having. He is quick to respond, honest, and reliable. I have used Dallas Smith on three occasions now and have been completely satisfied every time. Dallas first helped us when our relatively new computer crashed. He helped us recover our files, assisted us in selecting a new system that suits our needs and use, and helped us upgrade our home network. Recently, we used him to remove an OffersWizard adware program. Dallas was able to work remotely to rid our system of this program. His first visit to clean up my main computer was excellent and reasonable. His second visit a week later to install a new fan in my old computer turned into a disaster. He installed the new fan and and upgraded the computer's speed but the new fan doesn't work and my old computer is slower than it was before. I would not use him again. Does anybody need a new fan that doesn't work? read more

I was very disappointed with his work. We requested he clean a previously used a computer for a new employee. We were clear that we were not technically inclined and he assured us that he could do the job. After spending $175 with Dallas, the computer was not working as promised and the previous employees email and other sensitive data were still on the computer. We contacted Dallas who was very short and blamed our non technical staff for not providing enough information while on site. He promised to refund the $175 which i felt was a good settlement. after a week without the refund i called and he said he changed his mind and that he would not refund the money. Stay away from this guy!!! Poor ability to assess the problem, poor execution or the service, poor customer service, and not trustworthy.
