I got the charger port on my iPhone 6 repaired. When I called Apple, they told me it would be $300 for any service, no matter how small, to mail it in and get it fixed, and I would have to bring it into an Apple Store for possibly a lower quote because my phone is out of warranty. So I called around several places in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area, and iTech gave me by far the lowest price. And the work was done in less than an hour, and it was done well. The shop is in a very convenient location and there is a parking area right next to it! It's clean and has a nice little lounge area where you can wait while you are getting your item repaired. Monchi was such a big help! I cracked my screen on my iphone and needed a new one and he took me step by step on how he would fix it and double checked after the new screen was placed to make sure that everything was working correctly. He was able to change my screen out in lighting speed and told me to contact him if I have any problems. Very professional, amazing customer service and reasonable prices! After my phone had been smashed several times the tech tried everything he could to repair my phone even when things seemed almost impossible. Had an awesome experience with iTech Computer team, Ramon in particular. Very professional, responsive, and friendly. I had an issue with my daughter's iPhone 7 Plus screen which was repaired right away. Ramon even installed an extra layer of protection by placing glass screen protector. Screen replacement cost was extremely reasonable compared with Apple store (a lot less) and even way less expensive than other screen repair shops. And, the day after installation we had an issue (fault of my daughter) and I contacted Ramon via text. Got an automated response that the shop was closed. Following this txt, received an immediate response personally from Ramon on his day off when shop was closed which was amazing. The issue was taken care of without additional charge. Came to iTech because I had a Groupon, but when I got here, they said they weren't taking Groupon anymore because they had some issues with them. Marcos immediately offered to repair my phone for the same price as the Groupon, so I was able to cancel my Groupon and he took care of us right away. My iPhone 6S screen was badly cracked a couple days ago. This was an urgent situation for me as I needed to be somewhere ASAP, could barely use the screen, and tiny bits of sparkly glass had already fallen off. I read some great reviews on them so decided it was worth a try. The friendly service was quick and direct. Took only 20 mins which fit my need to be somewhere quickly. Their little shop has a lounge-like area to watch tv or play their Xbox. It has a man-cave vibe as I enjoyed their Xbox. I had them add a screen protector for a small fee and took only a minute or three. I got what I needed and really happy with the price and service. read more

I brought the guys a MacBook Air which I first dropped on a hard floor (so the case was badly damaged) and later removed a stuck key when trying to clean underneath it. Marcos didn't promise too much but tried his best. Sometimes you get estimates that are wildly inadequate to the thing's cost. My 4-years-old MacBook, for example, would normally cost several hundred dollars to fix. For a key with a damaged frame you basically need to remove the whole keyboard at a risk of ruining the computer itself, so you need to ask for a high price in order to hedge against possible costs. And to straighten up the edges of the case you will need to risk cracking the screen at the very least. So what Marcos did was some cosmetic repair - my Mac doesn't look like new, but the edges look way, way better, the case closes properly, and the key's frame is still bad inside, but the key is in place on some glue. I have no idea how long it will work - hopefully it will help me to delay buying a new one for several months or even a year. What I need to underscore is that repair cost under $50 and was adequate - instead of buying a new laptop or spending on repair much more than it costs, I got a REALISTIC approach. read more
