Stay away from this place!!! They are rude and if you even look them sideways, they will charge you a fee!! God forbid you are 1 minute late - $79 late fee. Even restaurants give you a 15 minute grace period.... Not this place! They add on things your pet doesn't need for a buck... on top of their ridiculous prices to begin with. Sooo much arrogance. I have never been lectured like I have from this associate doctor about "having to now work me into the schedule" because I was a few minutes late... AND THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE EVEN THERE! I was so anxious about the changes my older dog is having, I haven't been able to sleep. Dr. Priddy and his team were able to diagnose my precious doggie and explain the current situation to me in the kindest, most loving manner, and it is better than I feared. Thank God! Dr. Priddy has so much knowledge and experience. His bedside manner with animals (and people) is fabulous. His team is also exceptionally kind, patient, and loving. Between their soothing voices, kind manner and treats, my doggie wasn't even scared when they took her in back for XRays. Every interaction with the patients and their owners is so well thought out. Hands down the best veterinarian experience from doctors and staff I've ever had with cats and a dog. Dr Priddy and his team are incredibly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. I would give more stars if I could Dr.Priddy and the entire staff go far beyond basic care of the pets brought into their clinic. Every pet is treated like their own. Everything is explained clearly with no "surprises" that one experiences with so many other places . When I bring my fur baby to the vet for a well visit or illness or an emergency I expect the best possible care- and that is exactly what you get from DVC. I fail to understand people that bring their pets for care and then do nothing but complain when their furry family member is happy and on their way back to excellent health when they leave. What I love about this clinic is the top notch service and attention both you and your pet get from the staff and Dr. Priddy! The doctor actually takes the time to call and discuss your pet's test results and listens to all your questions! It's the actual doctor who contacts you not one of the techs! They are a small family run clinic - not a corporate sales mill like so many local clinics that try to load you up on services and programs you don't really need. If you are looking for personal attention and quality care for you pet - with the ability to get an appointment quickly - this is your place! The following review is based on how the manager of Dallas Vet Clinic treats their clients. Ashley who is the manager / the wife of Dr. Priddy essentially treats anyone who has anything negative to say with extreme defensiveness and will go to any extent to deflect blame. Look at all of her responses to low ratings on google / yelp. She is extremely defensive and always deflects blame/ responsibility. I was right next to my girlfriend listening to the phone conversation between her and Ashley. I've never come across someone so unprofessional especially in the vet industry. She is highly defensive about any problems around the clinic and refuses to accept any responsibility at all, and even goes to the extent of making false accusations. She claimed our dog had a history of aggressive behavior and that there were lots of notes on him but the problem is that we've only been there once before. And we got her to read the chart from his one and only visit before this and there were no problems. He was listed as a 3/5 which is average. So where did the "history of aggression" and the "lots of notes" come from then? Nowhere because she made it up as he's only been there once prior to this visit. There is no way we would ever support a business run by someone like this. ***UPDATE AS OF 02/01/2022*** Ashley, as the manager of DVC you need to stop messaging me. Let it go. Ashley has yet again sent me another message telling me to "stop harassing and bullying her" (pic posted below) when I have no had direct contact with her in days. In response: I said the $27 fee was unfair, and it is a negligible amount so I was not upset about the monetary value - rather how everything went down and then being charged the $27 charge on top of that. You refused to refund me, which I acknowledged over the phone. Also, my first vet visit, on Jan. 14 with Dr. Parker (who was amazing) was not a "consult" I went in for a specific problem which turned out to not need further diagnostics - as we were able to come to a conclusion. Also, I was not charged a "fear free" fee on Jan. 14 - however, I would not mind if I was either. The problem is not the money, it's the way Dr. Priddy handled the appointment on Jan. 26 - again NO exam was done or attempted. Like I've reiterated before, I called at Jan 25th 4:36p to schedule an appointment where I asked for sedatives. I was prescribed Trazodone + Gabapentin ONLY. I then called at 5:23p on my way to pick up the medication to inquire about another sedative just in case. I was not aware I was being prescribed ACE. Had I never called 7 mins before closing, I would have never gotten ACE. I gave my dog the medication originally prescribed by Dr. Priddy as directed - he saw that it was fit to prescribe me this when I first called. Also, you must be confused, I told the vet tech that I am NOT forcing a muzzle on my dog today because we are working on cooperative care + muzzle training at home. Forcing a muzzle on my dog (who also was not showing any aggressive signs) and ruining our training is detrimental long term. I said he is very gear sensitive (and that it took me a while to desensitize him to even a collar - but I have no problem with that now as I told and showed the vet tech in person) - that's why I'm choosing not to further attempt to put the muzzle on. I could have, I did get it on but chose not to buckle it. I think you should research up on muzzle training + desensitization. Putting a restrictive muzzle on a dog who is not muzzle trained + gear sensitive as "CALMING" is absolutely outrageous. That's not calming, that's extremely stressful and that's how longterm traumas are formed. I recommend you reach out to the trainers you mentioned and ask them about this, I'm surprised you do not know. I declined to make an appointment, because I do not want to support a business run by someone like you. Thats the truth. Furthermore, no where in any records at my previous vets did it say my dog is aggressive - have you forgotten I was the one who directly sent it and I have access to the same records as you? Again, if you believe my dog is aggressive from my appointment on Jan. 26, please educate yourself on dog behavior. A dog barking because someone abruptly and loudly came in + talking, is not a sign of aggression. Lastly, I asked you many times what "false accusations" and "untrue statements" you're referring to: you have not yet specified still. You're asking me to remove said "false statements" yet when I ask specifically, you have nothing to say. What a shame. ***UPDATE AS OF 1/31/2022*** Ashley sent me a private message saying I'm lying (again, when I asked her to specify what lies she has absolutely **nothing to say**) and she said I'm contributing to veterinarians committing suicide... because of my honest review.... (pic posted below). I'm extremely concerned with Ashley's mental state to not only threaten me with legal prosecution, but to also say I'm contributing to vets committing suicide over my honest review on Yelp. I've asked Ashley several times to specify what 'lies' / false accusations: she has absolutely nothing to say. Nothing. She can't say anything at all because my review is an accurate description of what happened. All she has done is make up blatant lies in hopes of convincing other readers. She has also disabled Facebook reviews to hide my review / her responses. ***UPDATE AS OF 01/29/2022*** Ashley has threatened to sue me if I don't remove my 1 star reviews. Claiming what we've posted is false and claiming I've said 'derogatory terms' and was 'name calling' - not to mention the other absolutely untrue things regarding medicating my dog. She claims I demanded a full refund, again false which I reiterated many times that I'm happy to pay the full price of the exam, the only thing I was upset about was being charged an aggressive/ anxious fee when there were NO services rendered - and more importantly, they unfairly charged me as my dog was and is not aggressive. No services were rendered yet I was still fine to pay for the exam fee. Ashley: I urge you to stand by what you said and seek legal prosecution against me. You have absolutely nothing to stand by. Find another vet PERIOD ......... not going into all the details . Here's one issue I had with them . I called dr priddys office one day and discussed an ongoing issue my cat had that they couldn't resolve after 2 years . The lady kept telling me to bring my cat in and of course that's another 3-400 bucks as always . So at that time I stated I'm not sure if I should make another trip because nothing is going to change after 2 years with the same vet . So the receptionist insisted that I make the appointment so I did and hung up with her . I literally called her back within 2 min of hanging up with her and told her to cancel the appointment and she said NO ! So when I hung up with her again I got a bank notification on my Cel phone that their office charged me a " no show " cancellation fee. With that being said , I ended up finding another veterinary that fixed my cats issue in the first vet visit . read more

I am not one to usually write a review; but I want to give credit where credit is due! I contacted the Veterinary clinic about an issue my dog has been having and the office manager responded to my message swiftly. I was contacted back immediately by Mrs. Ashley addressing my concern! I have had issues in the past with my dog being nervous and even snapping at the Vet's office, they have always been calm and handled it with the utmost professionalism. I would absolutely recommend Dr Priddy and his staff to anyone looking for a caring veterinarian that is up to date on the latest treatment plans and behavior management! Thank you Dr. Priddy and thank you to his wonderful staff who has made my life a little easier! On a side note, everywhere my family and I go lately, we see signs for "sorry for the inconvenience, we are short on staff" people don't want to work or have the ambition to show up. I cannot say enough positive feedback from our most recent experience with Dr. Priddy and his crew. Aside from his incredible expertise and compassion, Dr. Priddy's fear-free certified environment lived up to its name and it was just what my 16.5 year old Catahoula enjoyed this week. Having had a horrible experience with a former vet, my dog developed a fear of going in to be examined for anything. As evidenced by the attached picture, Freckles was truly at ease throughout the entire 30 minutes. Would not recommend! If you want to be lied to, taken advantage of, disrespected and lectured than this is the place for you. This is not a clinic that looks for a true solution to your pets health issues in a holistic way, but rather a way to make money and over prescribe medication. The manager does not communicate well. My family and I recognize we are not a fit for this clinic, as we appreciate genuine feedback centered around our pets health and not an immediate need to spent money. Front desk staff is kind, but confused on policies. Ashley, the manager, will provide different versions of the story that do not all add up - I was told our puppies potential stomach issues required immediate attention as he had not been eating. However, she then went out to tell me the clinic fed our dog (without our knowledge or permission) and he ate just fine! This did not change her strong recommendation that he needed medical help for not eating, and still wanted $430 to do an x-day. After 8 months of working with this clinic (and overpaying for services not medically needed), I am happy to say our family has decided to move on to different care. Updated 2/3 after comment: Ashley, I appreciate your feedback. Thank you for taking time to respond to our comments. My husband and I have learned a lot in our first year of having a puppy and appreciate Dr. Priddy's feedback. We have also learned that this is not the right vet care for us, which is our choice and right to have an opinion regarding our pet's healthcare. As someone who suffers from clinically diagnosed anxiety, and also has an emotional support animal, I do not believe your comments are fair or accurate and do not support a healthy lifestyle for myself, my family, or pet moving forward. I've been going to Dr. Tolleson for 25+ years beginning when the clinic was located on Hillcrest Avenue near SMU in University Park. I liked Dr. Tolleson from day one. He is friendly, explains everything in detail, and is always willing to answer questions. He has taken care of all three of the Boston Terriers that have been in my life in the last 25 years, and I've always felt they were getting the best of care. He is a truly great veterinarian, and I would highly recommend Dr. Tolleson to anyone. Sadly, my little KatieBelle - who is lying on the floor beside me as I type this - has developed congestive heart failure at age 13, and I must take her to Dr. Tolleson for the final time tomorrow. I began going to Dr. Tolleson with my 3 cats about 15 years ago. My coon cat got outside and possibly ate things he shouldn't have. I suddenly realized one day that he was swelled up like a balloon. Turns out that his kidneys were about to shut down. The Dr. performed a delicate kidney operation on Stinky, and he was good as new. He also put my other cat, who had cancer, to sleep with compassion. His prices are good, he's charming, and he never charges you more than necessary or adds on. We had been taking our pets to Dallas Veterinary Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Tolleson was a gem. He was knowledgeable, patient, and connected well with clients and their pets. Unfortunately, he passed away. Under the new ownership, we had a completely different experience during each of our several visits. In our opinion, the culture has changed for the worse and the staff have a terrible attitude, unlike the wonderfully helpful folks under Dr. Tolleson's leadership. We have been taking our two dogs to Dr. Priddy for a few months (we had to switch vets when we moved to a different part of town) and he and his staff have been absolutely great! Dr. Priddy gives every pet one-on-one attention and even in just a few visits has gotten to know our dogs well. We get in and out on time - they always follow up with phone calls and are very responsive to emails. Been looking for a vet at the level of the Dr I saw before. My former vet retired, and no matter how many places I called no one seemed to be able to offer the level of service and the understanding for a complicated sick pet like my former vet did... till I found Dr Priddy. She is kind & patient, she doesn't try to add extra stuff to the bill, and if my pet is sick her staff really tries to squeeze me in. Also, this clinic has the "cat friendly" seal of approval online (which is how I found them), so what that means is they will go at my cats pace, and be patient with her while they also try to help her. This way my cat Isadora won't associate her vet with "scary" or "bad", and it makes the process of her being sick a little easier to deal with. I've tried multiple vets in dallas in the last two years, and this place is simply the best. They even called to check on my cat a couple of days later, which I appreciate. My last place I couldn't get a hold of the dr to get diff meds. You can trust them not to run your bill up, or screw around. I dig it. Definitely bring your baby here. read more

My dog was not a regular patient, but we took her here when it was time to have her put to sleep. They were very compassionate, no-nonsense, and helpful. They offer communal or private cremation. The prices were reasonable (half that of most other vets I called that day). The location is really good. It's right on 75, and there's plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. They got us right in, and it was over very quickly and appeared to be a calm painless procedure for our dog. They allowed us to have some time alone with her after. We said our good-byes and left. They were kind and very professional. We now have two puppies, and I am definitely going to use this clinic for their care. read more

Took my dog in for a week, had them wash a day before I get back, I also told them to give him flea treatment. I come back and he stinks and is dirty, talking bout I picked him up early and they meant to fluff him and make him smell good, wtf. I've been going to this clinic for my dog ever since I got him three years ago. I've never had a dog before and Dr. Tollson was great at explaining everything. His prices are very reasonable, and he does not do more than he thinks is necessary to treat the illness. My dog has been sick several times because of stuff he's eaten, and I've had to bring him in a lot the first year. I always felt like he was getting great care. The staff is also knowledgeable and nice, and my dog loves them. I have even boarded with them a couple times on occasion, and they are lower than comparable places in the area. read more

What a wonderful, caring place! We have been seeing Dr. Priddy for years and have now followed him to his own clinic. I will never forget his compassion when we lost our beloved dog to lymphoma. He is passionate, thoughtful and has a true gift with animals. He also has a heart for animals in need and has donated items to the DFW Lab Rescue. I took our dog in to see Dr. Priddy and was told that they were too busy to handle any more pets for the day and that I needed an appointment. Really? Seriously?? We have been going to Dr. Tolleson for over 20 years. During that time, we have taken our many dogs and cats to him. Besides being an extremely competent vet, he's a great educator, explaining what is happening and the various options available. His prices are reasonable and his hours make him very accessible. He cares for the well being of the animals, he has an ethical outlook regarding the proper care of animals, and an compassionate understanding of the pets relationship to its owner. We once called Dr. Tolleson on a Saturday afternoon regarding an injured possum and her babies we found on the tollway. He told us to bring them into the office where he cared for them. Dr. Tolleson was very straightforward about what needed to be done to remove the hematoma from my cat's ear. He did not waste my time. The surgery went well, and even though my cat will have a folded ear the rest of his life, he is healthy and active. Their prices are also very reasonable. read more

Dr. Priddy is a gem! He recently treated my 13 year old Cavalier King Charles, Deanie, for a major GI issue. She had been groomed, boarded and vaccinated by Dr. Tolleson for ages but never did she have a major illness until this week. Dr. Priddy saw her immediately and was extremely thorough and compassionate. She had to be left at the clinic but he followed up each blood test, x-ray and surgical procedure with a phone call update. Deanie seems to be back to her lumbering, shuffling, senior canine status.
