The Chicken is Moist and delicious with the exact same batter that CD had. The Rib dinners are exactly the same as CD as well. Right down to the dinner roll and little tub of cranberry sauce. The only downfall is that they don't take credit cards anymore, so I've been told. And finding parking can be a major PITA. But it's worth it. Don't cook tonight, go to Chicken Galore! I'm glad SIP (neighboring rest.) provided poor service because I would have not been able to indulge in these tasty oxtails, tender collard greens, right amount of cinnamon candied yams. Potato salad dang near better than mine. well upon entering the cornerstone restaurant, no one was up front, but a young lady quickly comes up and greets with a smile. chipper and pleasant. The inside is small, not really a sit down and eat type establishment. Two small tables are available. I wish I had asked the young lady her name. she was patient and laughed when I asked what's good and best selling item. She said "everything!" Leaned towards me ordering the oxtail. She helped me deciding on sides and even convinced me the potato salad was good. she was right! everything was yummy and worth my $32.87. Portions are in keeping with the cost. I got a grilled chicken salad with "white sauce" when I asked for Ranch, and it really tasted neither like Ranch or the halal sauce. Not sure what the true flavor was. It was plentiful with chicken. The chicken tenders were big meaty pieces, but the fries were forgettable. For a late night, deep-fried craving, this place could hit the spot. The prices were reasonable. There just isn't a lot of variety in the entrees and it is a bit slow in the ordering/pickup process.
