    Large size Stewed Chicken

First time ordering from here and it beyond satisfied our cravings! Oxtail was super tender with very minimal fat. Barely any oil floating on top of its sauce. Addition of butter beans made this all the better as some preps of this do not add. Hubs had stewed chicken and it was flavorful and moist. Sides of cabbage and rice and beans did not disappoint. A bit pricey, but we surely received plenty of food. I'm in no way connoisseur of this cuisine, but it surely hit the spot for our first order here. Def will order from again!

$61.21 for the Ackee and Saltfish and patties. They have yet to refund me for the patties they did not send. Ridiculous.

I had ordered their box of 10 patties and an ackee breakfast platter. $61 and some change. I never got my 10 beef patties AND I didn't get a refund for it. Ridiculous. I even called to ask what happened with my order and if I would get a refund, and they said they would issue it on their end and I'd have to wait a few days for it to clear. That was almost 2 months ago. They have NOT answered my calls since. Ridiculous! So I essentially paid $61 for an overly salted ackee platter (they did not soak the salt fish long enough)??? Never buying from here again and steering as many people away from this location.

On impulse we stopped for a quick lunch while driving through town. Initially we wanted beef Pattie's but they were sold out at noon. So we opted for a meal. The menu is on a postcard. They have a nice selection however there were no prices listed on the postcard. We had jerk chicken with rice and peas with plantains and oxtail with rice and peas with cabbage and plantains. The food was well seasoned. They offer medium and large sizes as your choices. The medium was plenty for two people. I suggest you ask for the price before you order. It was a bit pricey for lunch. There is indoor seating and street parking which is scarce.

The food from here was real good. The rice and peas was on point. The Jerk chicken was not super spicy, but had a nice amount of kick to it. The festival was just perfect, crispy and flavorful, they way I used to get it in Brooklyn. I got a side of steamed veggies, cause I just love how good they taste by themselves.

OMG ! So amazing ! The woman who answered ( who I believe is the the new manager / owner ) was so sweet over the phone and very accommodating to my indecisiveness between the stew chicken and the curry goat. YUMM ! She let me get both as an entree with my mac and cheese , rice and peas and cabbage . Which by the way she immediately called me to let me know my order may take an extra 15 because she will be making fresh cabbage due to them running out . I mean great customer service with excellence food !

So I stumbled upon this spot and soooo glad I did. I ordered the Curry goat....OMG. it is the best Jamaican food I have outside my house in a long time. Whoever is doing the cooking back there is putting their foot in it. I will be back. Oh and btw they have Llyod Carrot cake. Anybody from the BX and know about Llyod Carrot cake you know just what I am saying

I have no complaints about the shrimp Roti. It's good, not comparable to Washington DC, but it's good for New Jersey.

It was the perfect size for two. The meat melted in your mouth, and the sauces were incredibly flavorful and not too spicy. We also split a very nice bread pudding for dessert. We liked the ambience and the music - nice for a date night, not too loud and not too soft. The chef Patrick was really hospitable and explained the different dishes to us. The prices were good and we left stuffed. A fantastic experience and I can't wait to come back.

Even though we were a big group of like 15 and only one 2 gentlemen working, they were really efficient and on point. The food was really good! Everything came out hot and fresh and was seasoned to perfection. I tasted my friend's fried chicken and fell in love! So much so, I placed an order of just the chicken to go! I had: Jerk chicken tacos - 5/5 Crab fried rice - 4/5 Fried Chicken- 5/5 (amazing! Seasoned and fried perfectly) Definitely recommend this spot and would go back if I'm in the area!

At a Thai spot, I expect to see Thai people. At a Mexican spot, I expect to see Mexicans. You get the picture. So at this Haitian restaurant, there are always Haitians enjoying the food -- which tells you everything you need to know. If you're looking for an upscale yet still authentic Haitian restaurant, this is it. No matter what you order, they always start you off with a soup that's hot, rich, and flavorful. I usually begin with the Haitian caviar and smoked fish empanadas, then move on to either the Saveur Creole goat or the red snapper -- always with extra gravy, because I can't resist pouring it over their black rice (don't judge me). It's BYOB, so bring your drink of choice or grab something from the shop right next door. Another thing I love is that the owner, Robert, is usually there. He'll stop by your table, talk with you, and make the meal feel like a real experience. And if you admire the artwork on the walls -- he painted all of it himself. If you go, tell him I sent you... maybe then he'll finally sell me one.

Everyone at my table, enjoyed their food and their drinks. The service wasn't super fast, but it wasn't slow. The waiter was more than happy to accommodate when and where needed. The downside of this place is it can be a bit cramped and extremely loud. I could barely hear myself think I had to text the people sitting at the table with me because we could not hear each other at all. The restaurant ambiance is chill and the music is all types of Caribbean. My 3 stars is for the service. For a Wednesday night, they only had one server to manage the whole floor. Took a while for us to at least get waters. The bar was super slow to get drinks out. When we go our appetizers we asked for side plates and that took a while. They ran out of oxtail for my friend's dish so she switched her order to Jerk Chicken. We had to remind them for napkins twice. Tip was included which is really annoying when the service doesn't match a guaranteed tip. Maybe we came on a night they were short staffed but I hope it's not like this if I do come back. Other than that, food was great and the space was nice.
