To date I'd have to say that when your ill and don't know why, feel like total crap, are weak, weary and in need of scheduled medical procedures it makes a tremendous difference when you're treated like royalty. Every single time. From their prompt and thorough scheduler Alexis to the valet parking offered as one pulls up to the main entrance, to the calm quiet private changing and procedure waiting room I've always had a positive experience. They run on time too verses being hours behind which often times occurs in diagnostic facilities. I know as I've had enough tests and the like to rival most people in my age group. Sutter Capitol Pavilion Diagnostic Imagining is one of the most well run, organized and professional diagnostic imaging locations I've yet to patron. Located off of Capitol and L Street in midtown Sacramento. Here's some stuff I love about this Sutter Imaging Facility: ~ FREE wifi. It's fast, has a long range and even makes it into the back private waiting room area verses crapping out due to the steel walls. ~ Quiet peaceful environment. From the main lobby waiting area to the back office. No drama or screaming kids or loud obnoxious humans ~ Soothing music plays over the surround sound. I find this very comforting and relaxing ~ App check-in available for android and iPhones. Allows you to check in remotely. Super convenient. ~ They call you to gently remind you of your appointment and have FREE valet parking and seating as you await the return of your vehicle. ~ Great radiologists! I've had 3 different ones so far and all 3 have been truly excellent and spoke with me throughout the procedures. ~ MRI's; they perform them as well as ultrasounds, X-rays etc. ~ Great hours of operation: Monday thru Friday from 7am to 6pm with STAT appointments also available. No need to say more ;)

Parking is insane- garage parking a few blocks away. I did walk into the lab waiting room once - it was dark and dank. I just don't understand why they close SO EARLY. Having to come back and pay MORE expensive garage parking fees is outrageous.

A true Hero, My dad was diagnosed with a very big Aortic…read moreAneurysm in his abdomen. He was then taken to DMC hospital in Modesto, CA. Surgeon recommended due to the size and location of AAA the only way to fix is to cut him open. My dad was scheduled to have surgery on 8/20/2020 at 10am. My family and I were in extense fear due to my dad's age and wellbeing. But miracle happened, the day of the surgery we were highly recommended to contact Dr. Brian Park at Sutter General hospital in Sacramento by very well skilled interventional radiologist Dr. Ahmadi. I spoke with Dr. Park at 8:30am the day of my dad's surgery. He asked me three simple general questions. He told me with confidence that he can place a stent and avoid having dad to undergo a brutal surgery. I immediately called DMC hospital and cancelled dad's surgery which was going to happen in 30 minutes. Dr. Park took the full responsibility of making all the necessary arrangements and phone calls to transfer my dad to Sutter General Hospital in a timely manner knowing of my dads serious illness. I was impressed by how quickly my dad was picked up and arrived in hospital in Dr. Park's safe hands. The next morning on 8/21/2020, Dr. Park performed a very successfull and yet very intense case by placing stent and fixing a massive aneurysm. My dad went to recovery room and will come home shortly. I would like to take a moment to recognize a true hero Dr. Brian Park who went above and beyond to save my dad's life. Your kindness, sincere caring, concern, compassionate attention and professional care made a huge difference. They are not enough words for me and my family to express our appreciation. I admire you Dr. Park for your commitment and excellent care to my dad and to all of those patients and families who you touch every day. Thank you for giving my dad his life back. You are truly a lifesaver! Forever grateful, Nardin Reihan

My initial visit, the nurse went over a bunch of questions, though tedious, is very necessary for a complete and correct history to ensure I get the best care possible. It's very easy to make an appointment and the receptionists are very on top of things. The office is organized. Excellent service all around. Don't be fooled by the bad reviews. If you actually read them, they're not even valid points. (Preparing my inbox for hate mail) Hard to find an office where you're not waiting for more than an hour only to spend maybe 5 minutes with the doctor and then rushed out the door. The others... just read it for yourself.

Called and spoke to a scheduler by the name of Jessica and I thought the phone conversation…read morecould've been handled with better care. When she answered my call, she asked what she can help with. As I began answering her question, she's already cutting me off, trying to finish my sentence. When it came to actually helping me with what I needed, she proceeds to give me an answer that "she thinks" is correct. She literally said, " I think that's what it says, but I don't know because I can't read it." Not to mention, her tone throughout the call was so discourteous, it felt like being on call was an inconvenience to her. When I asked if she can double check the info she gave me, so that it doesn't cause any delays on my end, she responded with, "you know you can Google it too, that's what I did." At that point I didn't want her help, and I just wanted to be rude back. So, I told her she needs to get some glasses and that she should know information like that even as a scheduler, then I hung up. The questions I was calling to ask were: - What's the referral process for a non UCD provider, if we are trying to refer a patient for an MRI of the foot without contrast. She led me to the electronic referral link through the UCD site. This was good. - What is the CPT code we'd have to get authorization for? She told me she thinks it's 73218. When I asked if she could double check, she said it is correct and that I can google it. I happened to google it before telling her she needs to get glasses and hung up on her. The code is for MRI of the upper extremity. I don't know if Jessica's feet are located in her upper extremity, but for our patient, her feet are connected to her lower extremity. Whatever happened to healthcare professionals that actually take pride in the work they do? Is it really out of a scheduler's ability to know or want to know the CPT codes for the services they provide? Is that mentality out of date? In my professional opinion, it isn't helpful to tell people that call for help to just google it. It shows how lazy the scheduling staff is. I ended up bookmarking the page for the electronic referral link. Every so often we will have some UCD patients that want to be referred to UCD for everything, because it's easier for them. But for this particular referral, we decided to send it elsewhere.
