Let me start off by saying, I wish I knew about Dan and Tyler when I was getting married, I would have hired them to photograph my engagement/wedding! If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further, and take it from someone that was really overwhelmed on her wedding day that regretted not doing better research on a wedding photographer. As my son got older and more interactive with our family portrait sessions, we loved how much Dan and Tyler were able to capture sweet moments that I personally have a hard time capturing on the daily! And if you've got any baby props or something silly you'd like to incorporate for a few photos, they'll certainly find a way to incorporate it. Another awesome thing about their families starter bundle is that you'll have the opportunity to take multiple portrait sessions with them in different locations. Highly highly recommend trying out their favorite spots like a nature/trees and open field spot, and a beach location! They really scout out great locations and have a great eye on locations, and golden hour times, trust them on the time of day for your shoot. I knew what style photos I wanted and I knew I wanted to hire a Christian couple to capture our wedding. When I stumbled across their profile, I was blown away! I've been eyeing Dan and Tyler's work for YEARS and I can honestly say it was so worth the wait. My husband and I are located in SF and we went all the way to LA for our photos. (They do travel as well, but we wanted our photos taken in specific spots in LA) I was looking for a natural lighting photographer and didn't want my photos to look too "filtered" or edited, but wanted that gorgeous natural vibe from the photos! We did 2 maternity shoots, one with Dan and Tyler and one with a really expensive boujee photographer. We loved both BUT dan and Tyler definitely listened to us more and added our personalities to the shoot. This couple is very professional, thorough, helpful and creative! I have worked with 4 different photographers for various types of shoots and this couple stood out for various reasons. They are very organized and provide information in detail about your shoot including styling, what to expect, how to prepare and more. I really appreciate how they even pay attention to every detail during the shoot including fixing pieces of hair, removing items from pockets, straightening out clothes or accessories. This was not the case with other photographers that we have used and we got pictures back with crooked tie clips or a cell phone in my husbands front pocket. Dan and Tyler are simply the best! We had them as our wedding photographers, and after our baby came, we knew they were our go to for family photos. As before, we were blown away! Getting pictures of a family with 3 young kids is not an easy task but Dan and Tyler did it with ease. They worked together nicely to capture my family and our unique personalities. Then the pictures came and they were incredible! They captured my 3 year old smiling! I was impressed! My husband and I loved looking at all of the pictures they took that day. We received about 150 edited great pictures - that's a great return for an hour with 3 crazy young kids! We had a hard time choosing which ones to print for our collage wall.
