Maria Britton - Farmers Insurance is hands down the most unprofessional, incompetent, and misleading insurance agency I have ever dealt with. I received a quote for a bundled auto and home insurance policy, agreed to move forward, and canceled my previous insurance based on their word. That's where the nightmare began. For two straight weeks, they strung me along, constantly asking for more documents--even after I had submitted everything they requested. Just when I thought the ordeal was over, they had the audacity to reject my policy because I didn't submit service records for a car that is TWO MONTHS OLD--a car that doesn't even require servicing yet! This agency is nothing but a bunch of scammers who waste your time, put you at risk, and leave you uninsured after you've already canceled your previous coverage. Their complete lack of professionalism and disregard for their customers is beyond disgraceful. Do yourself a favor: RUN, don't walk, away from this agency and find a competent insurance provider that won't put you in jeopardy. Absolute garbage company.

Is the question that pops up when start to leave a review…read more Well let's start off with how long it takes to file a claim and how quickly they are to tell you they will do the best possible job to make this as cheap as possible. Excuse me, my house is not cheap and it sure doesn't look like a cheap apartment. Our issues happened Super Bowl Sunday. A flood from our upstairs bathrooms. I contacted a mediation company and got someone here right away. Mediation company kept telling the insurance adjuster that they needed to tear out our floors to make sure that they could dry the subfloors. The insurance insisted on leaving blowers and dehumidifiers for three weeks, even though the mediation company kept on telling them that it was not going to work. Getting mercury to finally agree for the mediation company to do their job was a freaking nightmare. It is April 31 and we are still living in a freaking mess due to the insurance cutting a check with our mortgage company and then our mortgage company endorsing that check to get it back to our bank. Insurance is the biggest fraud their is, they are so quickly to take your money or cancel you if you happen to miss a payment but when it comes to them responding and taking care of a claim, that's when they look for 1001 reasons not to pay out.

I trimmed all of my trees up from bottom & thined tops. I have nothing hanging over my house. I have a fire hydrant at the end of my driveway. I have a stream dividing my back property from house. 80% of my house is protected by concrete driveways, walkways and pool decks. My house is stucco. Still not good enough for Mercury. They do not want your business. Do not subject yourself to the pain of eventually being denied renewal. Save your money and build a relationship with a proven quality company willing to actually help their clients.
