My husband and I rescued a 7 month old Goldendoodle and she hadn't been groomed before. Our realtor who also has doodles recommended Dana's to us and it was a wonderful experience. Our pup was still very nervous and scared but they took great care of her while she was there. They were so kind and gentle with her from what I saw when I dropped her off and picked her up. They also did a wonderful job and cut her exactly how I wanted her cut. The only thing I would recommend they do moving forward is to overestimate the time it will take. They told me 3 hours and after 4 hours, our pup still wasn't ready. We had a training session booked so I had to have them rush the rest of the service. Next time I'll know to make an appointment earlier in the day and expect it to take most of the day. read more

Dana's Dog Spa was absolutely FANTASTIC! We recently rescued a dog, and wanted to pamper him. He didn't even look like the same dog!! I accidentally went to the place right by here on and thought there was no way I'm going to drop my dog off here. They told me Dana's was a few places down, thank god. When I got to the correct dog grooming place... it was a quick drop off. Newer and clean facility. Dropped off in the morning at open and pick up was ready in a few hours. This was my first time to use a service like this but my coonhound who is usually not happy about anything lol was just milling around happily when I went to pick her up. If I could give more than a 5 start I would. I took my 16 lb mini goldendoodle there for the first time on Feb 27, 2023. After moving back to this location in early summer of 2023 and going to a couple groomers who charges $55 or more and, although I ask they do not do this, they simply shaves her. I have been so frustrated with the quality of groomers here. In November I called Dana's and they were full but said they would call in February as they would expect openings. And they did. I took my furbaby in, honestly, expecting not much better than what I had gotten from other groomers. Kim groomed my furbaby and, OH MY GOODNESS, it was the most beautiful job my 8 year old furbaby has ever had. Kim did as I asked and even did better. I almost fell over when I saw Graycie and boy oh boy did it make my day! What beautiful work they do! I am thrilled and I FINALLY found the best groomer in the Stark County area!!! Absolutely love this groomer! They do an excellent job on our Golden every time we visit. Not your typical hours, but they are worth the effort to schedule! Always listen to what we are looking for and treat our baby well. He is a nervous dog & it's hard for us to do the grooming on our own because of that but he is always excited to go to Dana's Dog Spa & relaxed when we pick him up! Highly recommend! read more

After searching around with some very shaggy pups, I decided to try Dana's and I'm glad I did. They're very friendly and efficient. Went here for an open interview. I was told they're EXTREMELY busy. Telling me how they didn't have many people working in the back so they were DESPERATE for workers. I tell them I don't have any experience other than washing my own dog and such .they seemed perfectly okay with training me no big deal. Sounds great right? Especially since I was told I would be scheduled 4 days a week 10 hours a day . sound awesome I can save some money and get out from where I am. I was excited when I got the text that I had the job .My first week there was great and actually the entire month I worked there wasn't bad I didn't get treated poorly or anything. It didn't seem like they had any issues with training me. I was told over and over how well I was doing. Then suddenly few weeks ago I get a text that says I am not needed the rest of April, that's two weeks. I wasn't too concerned because I was told it was a "scheduling error" so I let it go even though my boyfriend and mom told me they're fucking me over. I waited until May 1st and didn't get a text with the information on when I'd be working next. My boyfriend urged me to text and ask so I did. No response. May 3 comes around still no text back so much boyfriend made me call this time. (Mind you, I didn't wanna be pest) called up asked to speak to Brenda, the one who was training me. She told me she didn't receive my text until "just now". So I say "that's what I was actually wondering about, I was wondering when I'd be working next?" So what was her response? "I understand if you need to find a new job we've slowed down and don't need you anymore" Can that be anymore of a slap to the fucking face? Unfortunately this business does not do w2s so there is literally nothing I can do about this. Do not work for this business and God please don't spend $100 to get your dog Fucking washed. read more
