The Magic Duel is just that...two Magicians competing to win the title of best of the night. You…read moredo actually vote on your phone at intermission. Mark Phillips and Ryan Phillips were both terrific. The one we voted for did indeed win, but they were both great! The Saturday we were there, there were two performances. We chose the 5pm one. It's a fast-paced show that kept us laughing, intrigued and highly entertained. A very fun, wonderful way to spend entertainment dollars in DC. Not a bad seat in the house! This is downstairs in the historic Mayflower Hotel, nice and close to the Farragut North Metro Stop. Definitely appropriate for all ages. Highly recommend!

I recognize that the Magic Duel takes huge pride in 5 star reviews on Yelp, which I deeply respect. But I did wish that we had seen the show in a different venue. I am no stage expert, but lights and sound do matter a lot in delivery of a magic show for a skeptic like me, going because the significant other loves magic shows. With better lighting, things would have been more "magical" (thinking bottles.) I was also surprised that a bubble artist, as good as she was in her profession, was considered a magician. After some quick research, you will end up at Magic Duel in this genre, so please go to Dupont or Georgetown.

Easily one of the best movie theaters in Frederick -- this is my go-to spot…read more The seats alone set this place apart: large, comfortable, fully reclining, and spaced out enough that people can walk by without you having to move. Huge upgrade from your typical theater experience. They also go beyond just movies. There's a full bar, real food (not just popcorn), and everything I've tried has been good -- most recently the BBQ chicken pizza. They also do themed drinks for new releases, which is such a fun touch. I love that they offer $7 Tuesdays (which do sell out fast) and regularly host events. I recently went to their Trailer Fest, and it was a great experience -- tons of previews, food samples, giveaways, and just an overall fun vibe. They also show throwback movies and have a rewards program, so there's always something going on beyond just current releases. Every time I bring someone here, they end up loving it too. It's clean, well-run, and just a really enjoyable movie experience all around.

We hear commercials for this theater often so we decided to check it out on Christmas evening. We…read moretypically go to Alamo, but decided to try something new. They're definitely more expensive. I usually pay $12-$13 per ticket at Alamo. At Warehouse I paid $35.88 for 2 tickets. The food is pretty expensive, too. The "monster hot dog" (I believe it was called dogzilla) was a regular sized hot dog with some toppings and a SMALL side of chips for $13. Drinks were on the high side, too. Between the tickets, the food (hot dog and an appetizer), a couple adult beverages (one mixed drink and a beer) and one soda we spent $137.85 for two people. The theater itself is the reason for 3 stars. The heated, reclining seats are comfortable and spacious. The spacing between each aisle allows people to walk through comfortably. This theater is about the same driving distance for us as Alamo. I would choose Alamo every time.
