We weren't comfortable going in the studio just yet, but we still wanted her to get that training in. Luckily I found CSLV and was instantly drawn to them because: 1. They offered zoom classes, no pressure to go in studio 2. Their fees were so affordable - SO AFFORDABLE The hiphop class that she took via zoom was perfect. She enjoyed it so much! I loved how the instructor always checked in with those on zoom vs just focusing on those in class. Once we were ready to go back in studio, we were welcomed with open arms. I can see that baby girl has improved tremendously in her dancing skills. She is more aware of her counts which is a huge. She's been dancing Ori Tahiti since she was 3 and she usually rushes thru the choreo. But now she takes her time and is a lot more aware of her counts and moves. Huge thank you to her instructors at CSLV for helping her with that and just helping her be a better well rounded dancer. In the short amount of time we've been with them, baby girl has already done a video shoot, they're working on their next video shoot now, and hopefully will be performing live the end of the year (assuming things start opening up). That is a lot more than what she did at her previous dance studio and she was dancing there for almost the same amount of time. So if you are looking for a studio to get your kids to dance with, I highly recommend Culture Shock. The instructors are great and always willing to accommodate, if they can make it work. They're a non profit organization, so they're not out here trying to get all your money. They are definitely working for the kids and I love that. I mean, I live all the way in the northwest part of town and we drive down to them weekly. Love that we're part of the CS family!

I attended the play "Crossing Delancey." It was the first time I've been at Theatre in the…read moreValley. The theatre is in an old strip mall and runs the width of the business that was in this location. There's a small "lobby" which is an area curtained off from the theatre and an area where the actors change. You can pay for your tickets there and you can buy drinks and snacks at intermission. The theatre has three rows of chairs and seats about 30 people. There are two bathrooms at the end of the theatre. Two small minuses about the experience. 1) After the show started, someone in the lobby was scooping what sounded like ice into a container and it detracted from the show; 2) the seats do become hard after awhile. Any theatre that offers to rent seat cushion for $5 for the show needs to have some better chairs. My suggestion to anyone attending would be to bring a stadium cushion or something like that.

With 15 minutes of intermission, there were donation baskets for pop and candies provided with signs suggesting the snacks and drinks were $1. Towards the end they had a raffle but my friend and I didn't stick around too long for it.

A husband and wife duo put on an Alice in Wonderland themed puppet show with the wife as Alice and the husband as the puppeteer for the rest of the cast. The puppets look great but set design is simply a video screen - which is fine for the crowd they're catering to. Photos and videos aren't allowed (I found this out while taking pics for my review.) Like all shows at Alexis Park Theater, there is table service (yes, you can watch this show from your own private couch.) There is a full bar and cocktail menu. Seating is comfortable but not graduated. I could still see everything well as the stage is higher than the seats. Overall, if you have very small children and for some reason you have them with you in Las Vegas, this is the show for them. If you're a solo adult, this may be too childish for you.

A beautiful area both inside and outside. The outside has parks and all sorts of hockey adornments that surround the outer edges of the building. It has a dog park attach here. Bring the family! This is open to the family and the community! Many organizations come and enjoy the experience of hockey . Maybe you're the next silver or golden knight! The staff are always friendly ! Something is always going on here. Parking is free and across the street access but fills up fast. Come and join the conversation of hockey and its new role in the Vegas Valley.

In that time, I have seen 28 of their productions and it has been a wonderful ride with the various casts. One thing first--A Public Fit is no longer at the address listed on this review page. The company lost its performing space there and have been at two different places since. The company now does several staged readings a year at the Clark County Library. The programs were so successful that the company moved from the library's small Jewel Box Theatre to the main theatre. For their staged shows, they have been using the Super Summer Studio Theatres. The thing that keeps me coming back is the fact that their works are not plays that have been performed in other theaters in Las Vegas. The company picks scripts that make you think and many times grab you with a white hot intensity, and they send you home often to do some further research. Under the leadership of Ann Marie Pareth and Joseph Kucan, one can always expect to come away from a production moved in some way. After each show, there is a brief intermission and then there is "The Buzz." During the Buzz, members of the cast answer questions and there's a give and take from the audience that stays for the Buzz and the cast and Joe. Questions are answered and sometimes new ones are generated! The area is richer for having this wonderful company continue in its 10th year. Support them. They deserve it!

It felt like a personalized and private class with the amount of attention we got. We decided to go for the candle making add on and they had all the supplies ready to go and we were done with the candle making part in 15 minutes honestly. While the candles cured, we headed over to the paint class! We ended up with a private paint class and our instructor was really kind and patient. He went over a couple things repeatedly for us and even walked around to help us out. Some of us were total beginners but felt completely at ease. We got to choose the playlist of songs and took our time with the painting. They do push purchasing drinks a bit. They had a raffle for a free painting at the end of the class. All in all this was an amazing experience for girls night, birthday, bachelorette etc!

Ferenc has been teaching my daughter to play the violin a couple of months now and we could not be any happier. He is attentive, polite and my daughter looks forward to his instruction; even though she has days of squirming like a little worm haha..but Ferenc understands her age and works with her perfectly.
